I have never dealt with such an incompetent garage ever. The sales man was more interested in telling me about his personal life. His knowledge on Jeep is poor. I purchased a brand new Jeep Night Eagle, the diesel filter leaked and it pulled to the left. The aftercare service was horrendous and the problem was not resolved. I had to pay another garage to resolve this and still have not been reimbursed my money. Never buy a Jeep fro this garage!

Hi Suzanne, it's a bit disappointing to read your comments after we collected your vehicle and delivered it back to minimise your disruption (140 mile round trip each time). We also spoke to Jeep Technical who could not fault the vehicle and we also took the vehicle to a 3rd party garage for another opinion. We understand your frustration as it was still not the outcome you wanted but we can only take guidance from the manufacturer. The Jeep sales executive you dealt with has been on all the relevant Jeep training and we have never had any negative comments about his product knowledge.

After a slightly 'rocky' start to my purchase, my issues were taken on board and a satisfactory outcome was reached. I would/will use again.

We had a fantastic salesperson - Lewis Baird - he was very helpful and knowledgable not pushy in any way ( like some can be ) nothing was too much trouble for him. Everything was carried out expertly. All together a great experience.

Hi Danny, Hope you are well and do not mind me contacting you. I requested your details from a member of staff at your Durham branch. I am emailing in regards to your member of staff Lewis Baird, who I have had the absolutely pleasure of dealing with over the last couple of weeks during the process of buying a used car. A couple of weeks ago, I ventured out with the plan of initially looking at used car options ranging from Fiat500s, Skodas, Fords and Hyundai’s. To begin, I had my heart set on a Fiat 500 and from this, visited 3 places to discuss my options. From this, I experienced a range of salesmen which went from completely uninterested and useless, and to the extreme of huge pressure and belittlement when choosing not to purchase there and then. The following day after some research, I arranged to meet Lewis to test drive some cars and look at my options. My initial visit lasted a total of 2 hours where I felt completely relaxed from beginning to end. Lewis answered literally every question I asked, gave me extremely useful information to consider and kept in contact with me following my first visit without any pressure. I feel it is important to highlight the following.... in order to purchase the car, I have had to borrow money from one of my parents and I have also purchased my house this year, meaning budget was a massive factor in decided on what car to get. Although an amount of money which would seem very little to most... to me, it was a big stretch considering my circumstances. I was introduced to options well under my budget, around budget as well as slightly over. As a direct result from Lewis, I have not only purchased a vehicle from SG PETCH today, but my original budget increased by over £1000 than planned a few weeks ago. Lewis has done an absolutely phenomenal job in helping me during what I was finding to be a bloody awful experience to begin with. He has been extremely knowledgeable, hugely helpful and patient as well as getting me the best deal possible. I felt it was so important to send my feedback as I work in furniture sales and I am massively grateful for the service I have received from start to finish with SG PETCH and Lewis. Overall I love my new Seat Ibiza and I think it's a great car! The experience of buying my new car however, was not the best I've had. In hindsight I do feel like I was rushed into a very quick decision and for that reason specific details on the car were not explained properly by the sales person. (Admittedly, I do appreciate that the blame for this does partly lie with me as the customer for allowing myself to be pressured into paying a deposit over the phone and not double checking a few details beforehand.) I was also not massively impressed with the customer service that I received from the sales person after signing on the dotted line, as I had to do a fair bit of 'chasing up' for a few different things and one booked appointment I had to share with another customer who the sales person was trying to get a sale from - not sure if this is normal practise in all car garages but I just found it a bit unprofessional!

the lads in the service department are allways courteous, helpful , and have been for the 7 yrs I have been using the garage,plus they make a cracking cup of tea.

Ordered a Hyundai Ioniq electric over the phone, I was very happy with the deal. I was sent a personalised video of the car allowing me to see both the car, and to put a face to the salesman I was dealing with, who I found very good. Myself and my wife travelled from Scotland to pick up the car we were picked up at the station taken to SG Petch, where we were welcomed and given coffee while we waited to pick up our new car. I was very impressed by SG Petch and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I contacted Durham branch about a car I saw online. Lewis made me a video, sent it over to me and I arranged to test drive the car the next day with my daughter as the car was for her. There were a few niggles with the used car we looked at, but Lewis ensured everything was sorted to our satisfaction. There was no hard sell as with other dealerships, just good old fashioned customer service and good communication at all times. I would recommend S G Petch Durham and Lewis.

Arranged to trade my car in for a new car, arrived on time at the show room after a long out of town journey . The sales person Andy was busy with another potential sale ,did not even acknowledge my arrival whist we waited in the waiting area for a long period. Finally he was free and sat us down and gave me the paperwork to sign. Hold on one one minute does he not even want to show me the car I was buying! I wanted to see it and test drive the purchase ! Andy was just wanted me to sign the paperwork quickly and leave the showroom quickly with the car so he has his commission sale ! On checking the paperwork I notice my name was spelt incorrectly on the purchase paper, I told him it should be correct on the VO5 document, he told me it would be corrected later. Guess what received my new V05 few days later with the incorrect name. Poor shoddy customer service with no interest in the customer at all, just wanted the sale. never again.

This is my secondKia Picanto from you.Iwas very happy with Nick who talked through my choices with me and has remained helpful. However, I was not happy with the men on the desk when I had a small problem with tyre pressures. Iwas told I had to leave the car for it to be adjusted.I had no way of getting home.Had Nick not been there to do the 2 minute job I’d have been stuck waiting for an unspecified time.
