“My son bought his first car from SG Petch Richmond recently, timescales advised throughout the purchase were not met. We were told there would be a 4 day turn around but it was 7, I mentioned mould on the sun visor and asked if the car would be valeted before handover, advised yes, yet the mould was still there upon handover. Collected the car on Friday and promised a call on Monday about gap insurance, this took approx a week before call was received, during the call he advised the woman that his locking wheel nut was missing, she was looking into it, yet he heard nothing back and has had to call again today, now he has to wait until Monday. Timescales should not be advised if they will not be met and after sales is clearly very poor which is a shame.”

“I was delighted with my new car, however I was advised that I would receive a small sum of money which I have not received and after numerous calls and promised call backs as yet I have still not received an answer to my query”

“Pleased that the car arrived ahead of schedule, however, dissatisfied with the fact that I was advised the car was ready to drive away on Friday morning as arranged. Upon collection and looking the car over it was clear that this had been rushed just to get it out of the salesroom. There were drops of water on the inside of the seats and slight smudges on the windows which prove it was given a quick clean. As I was excited to take the car after waiting so long I decided to take the car away even though it still had orange dot stickers on the wheels. The sales service was great before hand but at this point was no apology given.”

“I have been with SG petch in York for many years now and have bought many cars from them. I recently bought a new Kia XCeed and dealt with Ricky who was very professional. He wasn’t pushy at selling me a car which I liked and he really helped me get a good deal. I would recommend him and the dealer to friends and family.”

“Had Mazda cx30 1 st service done by SG Petch. I realised they had used the wrong oil so I rang them up to tell them they said the oil they used was correct. Having read the specification of the oil required I rang Mazda who confirmed I was correct and they sent me an email quoting the correct grade was different to the one used by SG Petch. I sent the email to SG Petch who checked it out then said they would change my oil and filter. After 5 or 6 phone calls not one apology Makes me wonder how many cars are running around with the wrong oil.”

“A good quality car, sold by a great car salesman. Rob is not your usual car salesman which is why we like to buy from him. He is not “pushy” and his product knowledge is amazing, any questions we asked comparing other models the answers rolled off his tongue for us to make an informed choice. Rob has the personal touch and he has gone above and beyond, by going out of his way to drive to our house to drop off information for the car. Robs attention to detail is fantastic, and made our lives easier by applying for our refund of road tax which saved us a trip to post a post office- in a world where everything is digital he also makes us aware of the features and benefits of Nissan connect app. Rob provided us outstanding customer service and he an asset to support the brand of SG Petch. “The service in the past has always been excellent this time not so much orded a new car in January with a delivery date of May frist contract was a tear message end of April saying delivery was now August this should have been a phone call can understand why a text message put it should have been a phone call. Didn't hear anything until middle of July to say car was in and it is already booked in for a repair to wheel and tyre”
