The car arrived when booked and was very satisfied with the driving pleasure. Salesmen were helpful and polite offered plenty of coffee. Follow up could be better. I needed to ask about after sales service.

I ordered a 2023 Kia Picanto from Ryan Robertson, and as always, his service couldn't be faulted! He gave me brilliant advice when choosing the car, and answered all queries quickly. Myself and both of my parents have completed all sales through Ryan for the last few years and he's been amazing this time round too. A huge thank you!

Poor lack of contact all the way through the process. Advised could finally collect car but was then cancelled 24 hours before collection and paperwork had to be restarted. When waiting for a refund I had to chase and privies bank details 3 times as they were put in the bin. Nobody seems to even care. I would never buy another vehicle from here and would tell everyone to avoid

Despite getting off to poor start, after changing to a different sales person, I am happy to say that my vehicle arrived when due, private plates fitted and a positive outcome overall.

The service given by this dealership was over and beyond that which could be expected. On the Wednesday afternoon I visited the SG Petch dealership in Darlington. A member of the sales team,Daniel Adams, talked me through my options and introduced me to the Mazda C5 SUV There was no high pressure selling, that was not needed as the car sold itself. I ordered the new car and within 48 hours I took delivery of my car The dealership transferred my private number without any problems I would definitely recommend the SG Petch dealership

This is my 4th car from SG Petch Richmond. Us usual the process was seamless, Les Rudd was his usual helpful self and came up with the goods on time. A god friendly local dealership.

Booked a test drive at the Middlesbrough branch SG Petch. Turned up on time to find someone had just turned up and they let them test the car and made me wait even though I had the car booked. I left and explained I was unhappy the car went out when I had booked. The Salesman explained first come and the booking made no difference, poor.

I bought my Kia Picanto from Michael at the Sunderland branch and the whole experience was brilliant. I was never pressured or patronised but provided with all the information I needed to make the best decision for me. Once I had decided on a car, the process was straightforward and my new car arrived quickly. Buying my Kia Picanto has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. It's a fantastic little car with great tech, really nippy and surprisingly spacious inside. Even the boot, which I was worried about being on the small side, is actually really deep and I can easily fit all my food shopping inside. It is also excellent value and incredibly economical to run. I'm really happy with my car and very happy with the experience of buying it from Michael at SG Petch. I would recommend going there if you're looking to buy a car but don't want to feel pressured or have to put up with any hard sell. Michael will be super relaxed, make you a nice coffee and give you all the information you need and be honest with you. I will definitely be returning there in future, though not for some time as I'm very happy with my Picanto!

We took delivery of our new car yesterday. We’re absolutely delighted with it, all thanks to Ryan Robertson. He listened to our needs and recommended the perfect car for us. His care and attention (and patience) was exemplary. We will definitely buy from S G Petch again.

After 13 months of not being able to drive as a result of a medical condition, Gareth at Middlesbrough was amazing. He kept in regular contact to monitor progress and was able to keep my car on order for when I got my licence back. Gareth is truly an amazing employee and the branch is lucky to have him.

Took delivery of new Seat Ibiza on 23/3/23 from Petch Durham. I noticed a loud banging noise coming from the rear passenger left hand side whenever I went over any uneven ground. The noise continued so on 17/04 I rang the garage and asked for a diagnostic check to be carried out but couldn’t get a slot until 18/5/23 a month later. I decided to take it to my local Seat dealer under the warranty and managed to get a slot for the same week. When I collected the car I was told that a chock had been left under the rear of the vehicle when it had come off the low loader and that was responsible for the banging noise. The car had a pre delivery check carried out before I got it and this wasn’t spotted. Seems as if when anything goes wrong Petch are in no hurry to put things right. You would expect better treatment when buying a new car. This is my 5th new car from Petch, so much for customer service. Not impressed.
