Sales rep was good and give plenty information his name was Ray Yates. I am not happy with the after service care. Husband car we got had a a dent in door on passage side front. It took 7 weeks get sorted. Car had go in for warranty work before dent was seen week later it was. My car had engine managerment light on 2 weeks ago. Rang Durham branch no one got back to me till 3 hours later so I rang Darlington branch up got call back within hour. Courtesy car had be back in on day you get it. I thought courtesy car is with you till get car back in return. Luckily car was back with me within 4 hour's. The prices you would like charge for new wipers blades is nearly triple to what i had pay from family memeber.

Recently bought a car with Tom with help from Ricky finding the car I wanted. Essentially paid more than I had planned to however happy with the car. Only issues was my finance payment on my old car was taken a few days later, I feel I should of been made aware of this and had to claim back from my bank. Not everyone has disposable cash Incase of an unexpected bill. Also had to book the car back in within the first month as speaker is faulty and crackling and the rear window windscreen jet doesn’t function. Nothing major however I don’t feel I should have any issues with a car this soon after buying, these things should of been picked up during prep and is an inconvenience having to work around work and getting the car up there when a courtesy car is available and go back the next day to swap back. I’m hoping both these issues will be fixed at no cost to myself as I won’t be paying for something that shouldn’t be there. Car could of been cleaner, white stain on back seat and two prominent scratches to body would that should of been dealt with. Happy with the Service from Tom and would deal with him again.

I have an ongoing insurance claim from December, Storm Arwen, and i am still waiting to get my car fixed. i am finally booked in for March but no one in 3 months has rang me to do this. i originally booked myself online in December then to be told my parts hadn't been ordered and to wait for a phone call. then no phone call until i have to ring back up. 3 months is shocking, even if it is busy. i have had to buy new wiper blades to get me through the 3 months whilst waiting. if my MOT had ran out then i wouldn't be able to have drove the car as it would have failed, luckily it hadn't. appalling service so far and my car is not even in the garage yet.

There was a long delay in receiving the items and no communication about it till I rang to find out what was happening . Was told they were coming from another branch and would be with me 2 days later - which they were . So communication and delay poor but ultimately goods delivered as ordered

The overall experience of purchasing my car from SG Petch was pleasant as the salesperson assisted the sale as expected. We were able to look around the car and inspect as well as test driving the vehicle. Only a couple of things. 1. The car could have been valeted properly before being collected. There were dirt marks on the roof liner that could have been brushed out in some places but the worse marks needed a deeper clean with something. 2. The price of the car was not negotiable at all. on top of this, there was a hidden cost of warranty that was compulsory on top of the cost of the car. If a charge is compulsory, it should be included in the price or a note added to explain that this has to be purchased. I would give 5 stars if it was for the sales experience but the problems with the car bring the rating down to 3 stars. Paying dealership prices should mean the car is spotless and ready to go as a nearly new car to the new owner. This is why you pay the premium on the cost of the car. The previous owner would have received less to reflect the condition.

I could not fault the vehicle sales side of s g petch however I’ve been trying to purchase a three year service plan and find your price rediculous. I would much prefer to buy one directly from you but I can get the same plan almost £600 pounds cheaper with Kia direct and still have the scheduled services with you. I suggest you address this its the difference between 4&5 star rating

Excellent service from Ryan in the recent purchase of our new Mazda3 from Darlington. Went through the finance and technical information in detail prior to purchase, then kept us up to date on delivery. On collection we were given a thorough in car briefing on the new features of the car. Highly recommended!

It was very disappointing on the day i collected my new £20k car, that it barely had any fuel in the tank!! We have had much better handover deals elsewhere.

Sold a warranty we didn't want, which they then wouldn't refund. No service history provided despite the vehicle being advertised with a service history. Log book had been lost by a previous owner but we were only informed of this when we chased the service history. No user manual provided either. Car excellent value for money but customer service poor.
