“We were a little disappointed with our care once we had actually purchased the car. Our collection date was overdue and we were told that we would receive a full tank of petrol on collection of the car for our inconvenience. When we picked the car up we did not deal with the person we should have been and hence they were unable to answer the couple of questions we had and also the petrol had not been put in the car. I had to make a separate return journey to have this fulfilled. We also did not receive any follow up call from the salesperson just to see how the car was going and even after speaking to the manager of the Nissan section we are still waiting for this and also he said we should receive some kind of video via email, but again this has not happened.”

“This is the third car I’ve bought from SG Petch Richmond, I’ve also persuaded my wife and mother in law to buy a new car from here as well. The sales team are outstanding, no pressure, explain things in detail, always there to help. The service team are very accommodating, helping arrange courtesy a car, fitting the service in around my work. SG Petch Richmond have restored my faith in car sales. “Genuinely friendly and excellent service. I always feel looked after, I won't waste my time going elsewhere. Both York and Darlington branches equally brilliant for customer service. I have recommended already to friends and family. Bought our car in Feb 2014 and Martin Phillips at York looked after us really well. In Oct 2018 we needed a bigger car (growing family) and our first thought was to call SG Petch York and ask for Martin.”

“On the whole as a dealer/garage they are pretty good. Having bought a new Hyundai automatic car about a month ago I am disappointed though that I seem to be fobbed off with a complaint I have. This particular new car keeps making crunching noises when releasing the brakes. This is totally irritating and unacceptable. It seems inconceivable that this kind of thing happens all the time with any automatic car. This is what the garage told me. I would suggest that when this car was assembled there was not enough care taken. I would like this to be rectified.”

“Third time lucky for me. I had previously visited two other garages opposite. After being ignored in one of them I came to SG Petch and was met by Ryan Robertson and I instantly felt at ease. He is a lovely young chap and a credit to your business. The way he took care of me and guided me through the process of motability and the car itself, I knew straight away he was genuine and cared about his professionalism and customers. He made the whole process from first entering the showroom, to leaving with the car a very positive experience for me. I am very pleased with the car. “We ordered car and said it would be here on a certain date. This date arrived with no phone call to say car was here or not here. So after many phone call to garage finally got to speak to manager to be told no car there for another 2 weeks. I had a very upset child looking forward to a new car. After been told another date finally got phone call to say car will be here.”

“I was happy dealing with SG Petch . the only negative was the communication. I found a member of sales hard to contact even resorted to emails which took days to receive a reply. I did find the sales staff very helpful face to face. The result is I received my new car to which I am delighted with”
