“I took my car to them as it was cheaper than the Mercedes Mot and also they collected and returned the vehicle so I thought great. And then received a call from them to say that my car has failed. It’s MOT and I needed various things doing to it in order to pass. The total cost of the repairs would be over 800 pounds. I declined that offer and booked my car in to the Mercedes garage and Mot. This is a three year old car by the way . The car successfully passed the Mot at Mercedes carrot. I didn’t need any repairs done to it. What does this tell you about this company!!!!”

“Very disappointed with the service I received, paid upfront for MOT and a full service. My car failed on the MOT on the front reg plate, I rang the garage and they said they had done the service and mot and was told everything is spot on with my car apart from the front reg plate needed replacing, I had to chase servicing stop to get the work authorised for changing the plate for a new 1 and to findout what it would cost, kept being told I would get a call back. Almost 3 hours later I get a call expecting to be told it wouldn't cost much as it was only the reg plate that needed replacing. They then said it's going to cost another £307 and said there was other stuff that needed to be done for it to pass the MOT. Absolute joke as it only needed a new reg plate. Also they never stamped my service book and the service light is still showing on my dash. Also they say it's free collection and delivery but that is not true, the garage they were using was 30 miles away and I've had to cover the cost of the fuel for them to drive it there and back and it was also over an hour late back from the time they said it would be delivered. There was also an extra 15 miles on the clock from driving back from the garage. I definitely won't be using this company again as I feel like they've robbed me. In total it cost over £420 for a full service and mot. Lure you in with the cost of MOT and service then blag you into more work that didn't need doing. Now left skint and no fuel in my car”

“When booking they are great, they take and return the car no issues, but when the Garage picked does not do all that was asked and even leaves the car telling me that it still needs a service, they are no help and you your self have to take the car back to the garage. \ Remember you chose these guys because you didn’t have time for that hassle but now you need to spend time going to the garage to fix what should have been done in the first place for me thats a 2 hours round trip I don’t need!”

“Customer service are useless i paid £280 for a full service for my audi tt after collecting my vehicle the next day my engine is throwing oil all over the floor and customerservice just said put a complaint by email they dont act concerned id never touch this company again total rip off service report says nothing about oil leak cambelt wasnt checked either i paid extra for the oil as well only to have leak all over the floor.”

“If I could leave zero stars I would! Booked my car for a full service and arranged same day collection/delivery from my work. I got a text 3 minutes before the lines closed that they won't be delivering my car that day and it would be the next day leaving me stranded at work! The next morning I was trying to contact my service advisor who happened to be "on a call" the entire morning and kept promising a call back but I never got one, eventually car was delivered 2pm with absolutely no applogy or anything! Absolutely appalling service, avoid at all costs!!!!”

“This is a scam company, which tricks you in with cheap MOT and servicing offer, but then charges you between double and quadruple for repairs and don't even do the work properly. Returned my car with a scratch and a check engine light on. They are shamelessly exploiting vulnerable people in this cost of living crisis.”

“Terrible. Took my money then cancelled my booking. Waited 2 weeks for a refund but it was £30 short. Impossible to contact by phone and online chat doesn't work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!”

“The whole business model is a scam. Avoid at all costs. Wanted to charge me £800 claiming all sorts wrong with vehicle which was obviously lies as the car had just passed its MOT!!!! AVOID AVOID.”

“These people are scammers. Yesterday they tried to scam £hundreds out of me for a blocked screenwash pump! I refused, and they decided to hurt me by hiding my car. Every avenue of contact was tried. No response! I missed a meeting, and couldn't get out to a funeral today, because I am at home expecting the car to arrive. It isn't coming. So now I need to get my brothers to go to where its tracked , and remove it! I have never been so angry in all my life. I need a refund and an explanation as to how this can happen to so many people, and still they're advertising as if they're amazing. To this moment, the car is stationary... I know its not coming back, but all hell will break loose today!”

“Do not use this company. After having paid GBP 126.00 upfront in good faith on a so called 'Black Friday' deal . My car was neither picked up for the pre-paid full service and MOT. They have refused to acknowledge my numerous emails requesting a full refund, and there is no service capability to contact a representative via phone. Even after one of their operational team advised myself that a refund would be paid within 3-5 days. No refund to date.”

“AVOID SERVICING STOP AT ALL COSTS - VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. POOR COMMUNICATION. £700 WORSE OFF. FAILED TO DELIVER MY CAR BACK ON SAME DAY, OR INFORM ME, LEAVING ME STRANDED AT WORK - DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.”

“I had very bad experience with the company I have booked my car for a service but unfortunately not any person arrived on the date and I paid in front the full amount of the service including the mot and I tried to email the company requesting the full refund but for several emails they refunded less amount pls be careful as what I find it’s big scam”

“They cancelled my pick up twice, 2nd one was 2 hours after it was meant to be picked up after I chased. There is no way of contacting them apart from the web chat which has a massive waiting list. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a scam.”

“Two months after our service WASN’T carried out by a garage contracted by Service Stop we are still waiting for a refund of the nearly £200 paid. They changed the booking and we handed over our car on the basis that we had to have it back that day. Fast forward to THE NEXT MORNING and an encounter with an aggressive garage owner who hadn’t don’t the work and didn’t want to hand over the vehicle. Every effort to get the money back has failed”
