They charged me £476.34....the average price is £234 for works to SEAT Mii, I feel sick and upset having been manipulated into paying this amount. The guy played on the fact l had to get MOT as l desperately needed car to get to work. Its let me with £52 for week.

I was warned before I booked into this company and from reading the reviews seems like I have experienced what so many have said previously. My car was in with the manufaturer only about 5 months ago for a software upgrade and a general check which it passed easily. Now I put in for a service and MOT to be told there are 5 different problems and trying to get me to pay £100's of more! they even tried to charge £70 just to change a wiper blade! Also check when you book as they dont tell you up until the day your car is collected the garage location which they booked me into a location 50 miles away so over 100 miles done in a day and about £20-30 of fuel

Called by Servicing Stop adviser after my car had been picked up, claiming that additional work was required (I already had my brake fluid changed less than a year ago) and that the garage had already put in a higher grade of oil and would now charge me an additional £30 - they already know my registration and car details to know what oil the car needs, so should give a quote based on the car and quote additional costs before carrying out any work. Total cost was not far off what the main dealer was charging. The garage who worked on the car seemed OK and had a different take on what I had been told by the SS adviser. I do not recommend Servicing Stop based on this experience.

Absolute con artists as others have said Took my money, confirmed the service date by text and email - rearranged my day to wait in and received a text on the morning after the pick up slot to say they couldn’t do it No number to call only robots on chat! Eventually received a call to say I would receive my money back within 5-10 working days So no service, massive inconvenience and I have to wait for my own money to return so that I can book somewhere else Don’t do it!!!’n

First of all this is a 0 star rating. I had arranged a MOT and service with this company through the website and made the quotation payment of £150. On the day of collection, nobody from servicing stop arrived to collect my vehicle. I tried to contact servicing stop but the number does not connect you to anyone. I tried the web chat but this was extremely unhelpful. I eventually got through to someone via a email address. I was told that the booking team had tried to contact me (I did not receive any phone calls from servicing stop) and I was also told the booking team would contact me to discuss the situation (the booking team never responded to me). I have now cancelled this booking and have asked for a refund. I now have to wait 7-10 days for me refund that I highly doubt I will receive. Please avoid this company at all costs.

One reputable group that can assist you if you have been duped by any trade website is EVIDENTLTD. My money returned to me in a matter of days thanks to their assistance. Give them a go.

I feel a total fool for using this company. I am now in debt for over £1000 and my car is now in a worse state than it was before. I was put under so much pressure to say yes to the work. I was teaching and they kept calling and emailing. Can anybody give me advice of what to do next? Helen Collinge Walton on Thames

This is the worst company in the UK they charged my 100 pound for a service and then 570 ponds for extras I did not need and said they would provide a list of what work has been done videos and pictures I haven't even received a receipt. I have reported them to the ombudsman the garage doesn't have a contact number or email nothing.

Car went in for a service, was called to say brake fluid and pollen filter needs changing and will cost £326. Stupidly I agreed to this but within 5 minutes tried to speak to service stop to no avail, the number they called on goes to voicemail, main number just clears the call, sent a message on live chat to be told someone would respond within 2 days, emailed to ask for a call asap. Called the garage to say don’t do the work. Sent further email to servicing stop to say I may miss a call as I had a meeting but that I would have the recommended work done elsewhere and to return the car end of day as planned. The car never arrived … I missed one call at 3.30 which I attempted to return but same problem as above. Managed to eventually resolve it this morning for the car to be returned this afternoon… I had to get a quote from another garage, that servicing stop added VAT too but was still £120+ cheaper than original quote. The lack of ability to contact someone is appalling.

I would give these a zero if I could. Absolute scam artists. Tried to charge me £600 for work that didn’t need doing. Tried to charge me £120 for one tyre. I went to the garage directly and these were £60 each. I tried to ring them back about collecting my car and avoided the phone calls. Luckily the lady at the garage who was dealing with my car. Informed me of everything correctly and stated it only needed 1 new tyre. So what they was trying to charge £600 for cost £60. Avoid at all costs!!

I have been trying to contact servicing stop for weeks. Their telephone number directs you straight to live chat / sending an email. I have attempted both with no success. I had my car serviced and MOT'd October 2023. Half way through the service a representative called me to advise they would need to complete additional tasks in order to comply with my Kia Warranty. The gentleman sounded confident and knowledgable about Kia warranty so i agreed of course. Fast forward to today (25th March 2024). My kia broke down last weekend had to be towed to the dealership. They pulled up my service history and could not see Servicing stops Service completed. Nor in my service book had it been noted that Kia parts had been used ( filters etc) which is a requirement to keep the Warranty valid. I currently face a hefty bill for a potential new engine with the warranty being questioned on validity. I need to obtain the parts numbers used and the grade of oil used in the oil change. None of this was provided at the time. And seemingly now i cannot contact servicing stop to obtain this information
