Booked car in for a “full service and MOT” Collection went well, that’s where it ends. Had a call from Servicing Stop within 1 hour of my car being at the garage with a huge list of added extras that needed doing otherwise my warranty would be void! He talks at a million miles an hour, telling me I needed air pollen filter, specialist oil, full brake fluid flush and engine flush totalling over £500. I refused the work and asked for a refund and my car back. I was then lied to saying my car had already had the service started. When I asked for the garage where my car was and on ringing them they said my car service had not been started and my car passed its mot! How did they know my car needed a full flush because “the oil was very black” if they hadn’t even drained the oil. Absolute robers and liars! I await a full refund! Rude staff, aggressive when you stick up for yr rights! Avoid Avoid Avoid at all costs!! Garages who are taking jobs from them should also avoid as you yourselves will get the reputation!

scam merchants; didn't fill out the service records; the guy who picked up / dropped off the car had no ID, no paperwork, didn't speak english other than being able to say "give key" and wave his hand, i have literally no proof a service was done other than the money missing from my account. Tried to raise this issue with the customer support team they said it would take 3 weeks to write up the service report and add it to my digital service record. 4 weeks later its still not been done and they are now ignoring my emails, no phone number works even though on their website they say you can ring them.

Please don't use this service! They take your car,they call you with loads of work that is advised. Ask your to give a good review. When i tried to call them,no numbers would connect,or were not known. I actually thought my car had been stolen. Finally got a call from the garage that had my car and refused to pay any extra money till i had my car back. Luckily i had one of there cars on my driveway. I got car back,passed mot with no advisories. Both servicing stop and the garage are in this together to scam you out of money that you don't need to spend. I'm not sure the service was even done on my car.

Total scam. Booked full service. Then added charges of £29.99 for "special oil" (nonsense), £8.99 Environmental surcharge (nonsense), Fluid top up £5.99 (not included in a Full Service??).. I agreed to these. Then they advised a full engine flush for £84.50, which I declined (a 1yr old hybrid Hyundai with 9,000mls on the clock needing an engine flush... nonsense). Late collection, very late return. Next morning the oil had leaked onto my drive, terrible mess. Tried to return to Alhambra Garage after not being able to use the car over the weekend, broke down on busy dual carriageway. Massive traffic jam. Nightmare. Threatened Court Action... eventually got my money refunded. Phew. Please avoid like the plague.

Total SCAM booked first service and Mot on 3 year old BMW i3 that only done 1500 miles paid in advance about £225 but received call informing me of brake fluid and pollen filter needing replacement ended up paying them almost £700 and that work wasn’t even done and I can prove it. They are just simply thieves and must be stopped will take my case further

SCAM SCAM SCAM DO NOT USE SERVICING STOP! They offer what seams a really good deal for service and mot and then, on the day they call you to tell there are thing that need repairing/replacing ASAP and give you outrageous prices! Realised too late they are a middleman . Hope this helps others

The blokes in the garage service my car I spoke to someone on the phone he was very very rude and arrogant I'd never get my car service with him again so if you I think about getting your car service at stop service I recommend going somewhere else

Avoid Avoid It’s kind of scam after they take your car one way or another they call you and find something in your car and ask you extra if you don’t pay them they don’t bring back your car

Bad customer support as unable to speak to anyone. I did not know where my being serviced. They placed a huge mark up on additional works and try to scare you into accepting quote/cost. Saying "your car is illegal, if not done now" This is a middleman scam!

If I could use zero stars, I would! Total scam. They toook my car on a 124 mile trip to have it's MOT and did not carry out the service I paid for. They drove my car back WITH THE OIL LIGHT ON!! I have put in a complaint but they're refusing to answer my emails even with my evidence that the oil wasn't even changed! Total SCAM! They should be ashamed of themselves!

Servicing Stop is a scam. They take your car to an unnamed garage, get a quote from them then at least double it and won't deliver your car back unless you have the work done and pay the inflated cost. Absolute scam. Also impossible to contact once they have your call, they will ONLY call you. Won't respond to calls, emails, texts or whatsapp messages. Fortunately for us we managed to find out where our car was and spoke to them direct and eventually got the work done for a third of the price. Garage owner said they are con men. Like many others on this review site - the simple advice is to AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Do not do it! Poor communication from service stop. Thankfully that garage spoke to me directly because service stop didn't contact me until 3pm to discuss the Garage's reports and their recommendations! When I spoke with SS and told them it's very late now and the garage called me directly to discuss report, the gentleman hung up on me! They then charge £171 for service and MOT despite being quoted £151. They claim its in their T's and C's but it should have been quoted and also put on invoice, not just for me to discover online!

Was pressured to pay for work that should be done to make the car perfect Guy didn't hear me when I said as long as it's passed MOT and had the service I'm happy. He then said THAT'S A RIDICULOUS STATEMENT after I said that I will probably swap it for another car because I didn't want the additional work done. I kid you not, he hung up!!!!😡

I am somewhat amused to be advised that my service can not be completed because I have not agreed to pay additional charges of £899.36. I clearly asked for a cost to replace the additional filters and then a separate cost to replace the Rear shocks as advised, and I was not given these totals and many figures were advised, possibly to confuse me and for me to agree the additional costs. I can see from the received advice that what I requested is self-explanatory and simple as below: Additional Filters = £283.21 Break Fluid Renew = £160.00 Replace both rear Shock Absorbers = £407.70. Such a shame that the level of customer service differs from Servicing Stop to that of that of the appointed garage. Sales strategy is clearly that of a hard bullying tactic, which is not pretty.

Booked car in for its 1st service. Ford Puma, 20 months old, 17,000 miles. Collection went well, that’s where it ends. Had a call from Gary Needham at Servicing Stop. He talks at a million miles an hour, telling me I needed air pollen filter, specialist low ash oil (NOT recommended for my petrol engine) full brake fluid flush (otherwise warranty would be invalidated-total lie and unnecessary) and loads of other work for the service to be completed, totalling £500. I refused the work, then motor mouth Gary became angry Gary, telling me I must have the brake fluid flushed or the service could not be completed. I reluctantly agreed and he sent an invoice. £156 for a brake fluid change, same service is advertised at Kwik Fit & Halfords for £49.99. I called back to query the massively inflated price, to be told that the work had already been completed and my car would not be returned until I paid. I asked to speak to a managed as Gary was being so aggressive. He told me all management were in a meeting until 5.30pm. I needed the car back so had no option but to pay up. Absolute rob dogs. They brag on their website that Servicing Stop have appeared on Dragons Den, they don’t tell you that they have also featured on Rip Off Britain, BBC Watchdog and had a scathing write up in The Guardian newspaper. Avoid Avoid Avoid. I hope this bunch get shut down soon.

these people are a bunch of thieving ba**ards. Picked my car up an hour late then phoned me at a very late time(3pm) in the afternoon saying the same as most other people have mentioned in other reviews such as "engine flush" and "fuel cleaner" and "complete oil change" and "water in brake fluid so all needs replacing". Wanted to charge me another £680 ON TOP of the £130 I had already paid up front. My cars windscreen washer was blocked and not working correctly and so it failed its MOT and they even tried to charge me £152 for "unblocking the pipes of the washer system"!!! I had already looked up on line how much it was with to replace the complete windscreen washer pump with labour & it was £90 so as soon as I mentioned that to the guy on the phone the cost went down from £152 to £90, what an amazing coincidence. It is now nearly 6pm in the evening & I have still not got my car back or heard from anybody at the garage in Oldham(A & S Autos on Vicarage St) that they said they were using . AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THEY ARE USELESS

I paid for a service and MOT in the morning and they collected the car and now won’t give it back. They did unauthorised work on it and want me to pay £800 that I do not have to get my car back. Chris on the phone was talking fast and was being very unclear. They are a bunch of scammers leave them alone.

Avoid - cost an additional £404 on top of £97 paid up front . Scare/ bullying tactics on phone . Car returned , but now not working / engine light and unable to idle . Contacted both Sstop and the garage used , garage DNA Autos ( Colchester) put phone down on me and the usual ‘5-7 days ‘ stuff, via email from SStop . Total scam - DO NOT USE .
