I feel absolutely stupid to trust this idiots. I should’ve check the reviews before getting a service and mot done with them. They’ve taken my car yesterday at 10:45 when they said theyd pick it up at 8-9 i work until late so i made myself wake up early at 7:30 just to be safe so i dont miss them. Boy was i wrong not only did they come late they didn’t even bother calling or sending a text.. they sent me a text after 10 saying someone will be there in 20min but only arrived at 10:45… when the lad came he didn’t even say anything just came to pick up. Didn’t show any id or anything you’d normally expect. Just took my keys and went. He left his car out my driveway and now its the next day and still haven't heard from them. Idk if they’re going to return my car or not. I have the guys video recorded form my door just in case. I feel like blaming myself for trusting this nonsense. Now i check the guys car reg and its not even insuranced or had road tax..

I agree with other reviews; I can see so many people are frustrated. These businesses should be closed down and penalised for exploiting the people. It is so pathetic and horrible; they attract customers by advertising cheaper prices, and in the end, you will be paying a fortune for the bill for the lies.

Disgusting customer service experience. Very rude staff who tried every trick in the book and bully boy tactics to get me to agree to very expensive work that wasn’t required. Needless to say I didn’t agree to any extra works. I will never use them again in the future- the service estimate is cheap but they probably make their profits through exploiting people by claiming work is required and then giving ridiculous estimates.

I would not even set a foot at this shop if I were You! Very rude people who are so ready to exploit those who are helpless, voiceless . Not professional at all, they exploit people from rural areas a lot! Wake up and free yourselves from these people!

Do not use this company. Absolute scam in every way, rude and obnoxious on top. Doubt whether my car was actually serviced. Came back honking of marijuana, absolutely diabolical that I paid money to have my car smoked in and perhaps not even serviced. Will check myself tomorrow. Was using out of convenience and was absolutely nothing but convenient.

They need an investigation by Trading Standards. The Garage that did the ‘servicing’ was 50 miles away but strangely my car had done 30 miles.. it was picked up at 11.00am and I got it back at 7.00pm at night? A service usually takes around an hour.. I basically had an oil (and hopefully oil filter change) for £200 I saw on my invoice that they wanted permission to replace discs, brakes all round at over £800 plus other work which would with the £200 - taken the final bill to 1,600 …which is what I paid for the van! I said to the bloke on the phone from the company that I could get it done cheaper elsewhere and he slammed the phone down on me! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID

Please do not use this company, they con you out of money! We have had our car from brand new and looked after it and had it serviced every year. It is a 21 plate and has done just over 17.000 miles. We booked in for a full service but because of the pristine condition of the car, we were not expecting much or anything to be wrong with it! The garage picked it up on a trailer and took it away. THEN you get the phone call! Not from the actual garage itself, I must stress! The phone call comes from Servicing Stop call centre, telling us, the car needs special oil, extra cost £24. Then carries on to reel off a whole lot of other problems with the car, probably written on a list in front of them, the total cost almost £1000! We agreed to some of the work, as you felt like they had your car and were almost holding you to ransom, as you might not get it back! They send you the report through and everything was ticked, it all looks very impressive. When the car was returned to us, we noticed straight away that the windscreen wiper, clearly had not been replaced, as it was split, when they took it away and thought that would be checked when servicing the car, on the report it says windscreen wipers checked and ticked. Secondly it said the service book had been stamped but it hadn’t! So then you think, they are two clearly visible things, that haven’t been done, have they actually done anything to the car to service it at all! The fella who bought the car back promptly got in contact with the garage and another member of staff came out to have a look. He apologised and said that the mechanic who had done the car had been told off and they would get someone out in the morning to replace the wiper! Which they did. He asked if we were happy with everything else but we did voice our concerns that if those 2 things had been missed could he reassure us the rest of the car had been checked. We also made our concerns known to a member of staff at the call centre for Servicing Stop, he was quite aloof and couldn’t really see what the problem was, which put our backs up as we had given his employer a lot of money, over £500. We understand he is just doing his job and in away, just a puppet, who’s strings are being pulled by the owners, of the company. He had his patter down to a fine art, so had obviously said the same thing time and time again to other customers. So you knew you weren’t going to get anywhere. We must stress that we have nothing against the garage who has hopefully done all the work, they have the work contracted out to them, it is the little people sitting behind a big desk in their plush offices at head office, that we have the grief with, the ones who have millions in their banks by conning, ordinary people like us out of our savings. How do they sleep at night! Please, please do not use this company, go straight to the garage instead!

Absolute horror. They try to steal from you. I booked for full service and MOT. Their full service is just a change of OIL and oil filter, total rep off. Also the car was taken away to 50 (both ways) miles, which is my petrol also. I received the call that I needed to spend £470 on Fiesta, and the servicing stop advisor was trying to scare me. When I asked what the minimum I needed to spend was, he said £250; he was charging £45 for the brake light. Furthermore, as he was pushing for £250 to get it, I got fed up and told him I did not want anything done to the car; then he said the car would fail the MOT for the brake light and put the phone down. There is no way to contact them, if you phone they direct you to chat, the chat is machine. I have my ways of finding which garage did my service and MOT. I phoned them, and they told me that they knew that the servicing stop was hard selling me ( I say they are thieves). He told me he would change the light for nothing, but I gave them £20 cash. Servicing stop used to be OK, but now they are probably doing very badly and trying to steal from you. This company will go bankrupt unless they change their ways.

Dear Team, I had my car serviced through Servicing Stop today 16/09/2024, and while the process was online and convenient, my overall experience was extremely disappointing. Communication Issues : There is no contact number available on the website, making it impossible to reach customer service directly. The only option is via chat, which offers limited assistance and accessibility. I attempted to use the chat service but was unable to get in touch with a representative in a timely manner. Service Concerns: I received a call from a customer service representative who spoke very quickly and seemed to be in a rush. He did not adequately explain the details of the service and misinterpreted my questions. The representative pushed me into agreeing to a service that I did not need, and I believe he was more focused on making a sale than assisting me properly and it turned out I didn’t even need it. Post-Service Issues : After the service, I noticed a strange noise coming from my AC vent whenever I turn on the heater. This issue was not present before the service and is very concerning. Lack of Customer Support: After receiving an approval email for the unnecessary service, I tried to contact Servicing Stop to cancel it. However, due to the lack of contact details, I couldn’t reach anyone. I ended up paying for an service I did not require. I am extremely unhappy with this experience and request that Servicing Stop provided me for the service I did not need. Additionally, I would like the issue with my AC and heater to be inspected and resolved. I would appreciate it if a representative could contact me directly to resolve these issues. Please improve your customer service and communication channels to prevent such problems in the future.

Cowboys, do not use this company. I paid in advance to get my car serviced. Several hours later the company called me to say that the garage had used a higher grade oil so I had to pay £25 extra. Its a 16 year old car, it did not need upgraded oil! I complained and refused to pay so the company backed down. I have reported them to the Trading Standards office anyway in the hope that they get fined. Posting this so that other customers do not fall for their scam.

When the time comes for you to withdraw your money, the customer care representatives at Servicing Stop are really kind and talkative! They're con artists! Every day, I used to receive calls from various folks, but ever since I requested a withdrawal, nobody has responded. They no longer answer my chats, not even on their internet chat platform. I've heard a lot about C */__O */_N**/_ C*/__ E/__ P/__ T/__ S/__ T/__ R/_D. C_/O_/*M I then got in touch with them and sent over my report along with all the necessary information. They took up my case, and after a few days, they assisted in getting the money I had lost back. I'm really happy I received assistance.

Cancelled my service and MOT when i saw all the bad reviews, then was told my refund will take 7-14 days. Its been over 14 with no refund, and whenever i email to ask for updates they just have an automated reply of “refunds take 7-14 days”

Do not use Having booked MOT + Full Service and paid upfront was then informed my car could not be picked up and no other garage or slot available. Was therefore forced to ask for refund - 7 to 10 is absolutely taking the hiss, totally unacceptable!! Leaving bad reviews wherever I can .

caveat emptor. I wish I had read these reviews before I committed to Servicing stop but their phone number on the side of their vehicle doesn't connect. No details provided of what they did for the service..No detailed invoice. quoted £136 for a new tyre The only thing that worked was collecting my car. I'm not aware that anything else was done at all despite me paying £600 for service and MOT. Seems Chertsey bridge services are involved but their phone number, on their van, didn't work. never again. an expensive lesson.

Complaint number 1 **Review: Servicing Stop - A Disastrous Experience** I recently used Servicing Stop for what I thought would be a straightforward car service, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The initial process of picking up my vehicle was fine, but things quickly went downhill from there. Within an hour, I received a call from a number that cannot be dialed back. The representative informed me I needed to pay £1000 for repairs, along with a compulsory fee of £125 for engine oil and a flush. I expressed that I didn't want the work done, but they had already performed the engine flush and demanded immediate payment for it. This is completely against their terms, as they state work should be approved by the customer beforehand. After refusing the £1000 worth of work, I was bombarded with pressure tactics. The garage called, urging me to get the repairs done, warning me that if I didn’t, I’d be at risk of a £2000 fine. When I asked for a detailed breakdown of the repairs and costs via email, they never provided one, which was incredibly frustrating. An hour later, the garage called again, this time offering to do the same repairs for £250 instead of £1000—talk about a suspicious price drop! I paid the service fee and got my car back within a few hours. However, when the garage returned my vehicle, the man openly admitted, “Servicing Stop is a scam and adds additional costs on top of what the garage charges.” Upon inspecting my car, I found more issues: - **No coolant had been added**, despite paying for a full service. I had to take my car back to the garage to have it topped up. Clearly, the full service wasn't completed. - **The engine oil** that was supposedly replaced with 'premium oil' was not changed at all! They simply added oil on top of what was already there, leaving it in a filthy condition. The £125 I paid for premium oil and an engine flush was evidently a waste. - **The engine covers were left loose and out of place**, and the interior of my car was left messy. - **My seatbelts weren't clicked in**, further proving that the MOT wasn't carried out properly. On top of all this, I have repeatedly requested an invoice and proof of payment from Servicing Stop, totaling £500, but they’ve failed to respond. I’ve received no service stamp, no receipt, and no communication whatsoever. The garage claims it's Servicing Stop’s responsibility to provide the paperwork, but they’ve been completely unresponsive. This entire experience has been a disaster from start to finish. The service was unprofessional, and their tactics seem predatory. I would strongly advise anyone considering using Servicing Stop to think twice.
