I recently had my car serviced I recently had my car serviced. Service stop advised that items that had been recently replaced be replaced again ie auxiliary belt needs replacing when I had just replaced the cam belt and water pump. The auxiliary belt was also changed. Also Items that I had checked elsewhere and they advised that they did not need replacing. I have emailed twice for some one to contact guess what no one has contacted me at present. Not a happy customer. At present would not use the again.

They were due to pick my Car up from 8am today. At 8.17am I received a text to say they were cancelling my MOT & Service due to technical issues, I have tried calling numerous times and emailed today, no response. I have already paid up in full as a slight discount was offered, I will now have to cancel & book elsewhere as I have no assurance of when the service & MOT will happen if ever and going on other reviews will no doubtless be charged £15 for this. Waste of time.

The collection, communication and delivery were good. However, what was disappointing is very aggressive upsale and giving you repeated calls to warn that 'if-you-don't-get -this done, your -car-is-doomed' type on a car which was otherwise perfectly fine except for small MOT essentials. I have always used standard engine oil for my car, but they called to say they will only do specialist oil (extra £30). The windscreen wiper blade needed changing - I was charged £51.00 for one of this. Have never had to spend more than £20-25 on a single wiper blade. They apparently only do the 'best". I was called twice to convince me of additional "advisories". So the supposed 'service & MOT deal' at the end turned out to be not quite so! The other frustrating part was trying to call them back - you'll be lucky if you get through. I gave up after several attempts, only option is email. I wish I had read this Guardian article before falling for this supposed deal: "Servicing Stop charges can start to add up" (if you google it, you will find the Guardian article). They simply fleece you.

They picked my car up Sunday evening. They rang me to say it would cost me an extra £470.00 but have no breakdown of costs. I called first thing Tues took ages to get through and was told my car won't be dropped off until 6pm. I've lost a whole day and have had to cancel today. Should have read reviews. Will be going to Trading standards later. Shocking service at ridiculous prices. DO NOT USE THEM.

Do not use, under no circumstances do not use this company . Absolute scam!!!! £1000 plus a set up charge to fit spark plugs (usually £20) , pollen filter & oil . They told me it was underivable after me saying no a few times. I was truly pressured. Fully ripped off. They made mistakes. Absolutely horrid!!!!

Tried to charge me 766 pounds for 2 front discs and break pads, and a licence plate buld. Really not happy with the mot and service. Plus I had to pay 46 pounds to dispose of oil so they can release the car back to me. Absolute scam

I wish I'd read the reviews here before booking. I received a text to say when my car would be picked up. It wasn't. I rang the garage and was told my booking was moved to another day, without any consultation with me. This was not possible. So I agreed to move it to the following week but asked for email/text confirmation. None received. So I spent 2 hours trying to get service stop on the phone, no answer. Tried the AI online, absolutely useless you can't talk to a person as promised on their phone message and all you get is an email saying they'd contact you in 3 to 5 days. Sent a complaint email, waste of time so far. So I cancelled the booking and the email states I'll get a refund in 14 days, and it's less £15 . No work has been done. I feel totally ripped off. Do not recommend

Extremely dissappoionted with the garage and service stop. the full service is not a full service as they only change the oil. also they carried out work on my car without my consent, they also dropped the keys in the porch without notifying me that the car was being dropped back. anyone could have taken away the keys and the car.

Shocking service. Call at 5 evening before to cancel service for next day. Told as they don’t work weekends they have to catch up on appointments.I had paid in advance to get £15 off. Alternative appointment made. Garage never contacted or picked up. Took 50 minutes to ring Service stop and then found out garage had decided was too far to come to pick up car. Refund requested. Free service appointment offered, reassured garage was great and they’d contact me evening before and send an e mail. No call from garage, no e-mail received from service stop. Refund recieved.Service stop called re pick up no explanation. Absolute shambles.

Booked for Tuesday but no one turned up. Rescheduled for followed day and was 1 hour late. After paying £85 for a service I get a call that there's another £280 worth of issues. I declined and then had to pay £45 extra for oil. All that was replaced was oil n filter. No air filter, fuel filter, coolant all of which I thought were standard for a service. Worse service I've ever had and wouldn't recommend them to anyone

Should of bought our car back before close but failed to deliver it without any communication whatsoever leaving us really worried about the car. Turned up the following morning without any apology and oblivious about quality of customer service. Oh,.... also a quote for £900 for repairs. Don’t trust them so I’m taking it elsewhere. I’m struggling to endorse this company in any shape or form. Will not be using them again,.... worse company ever.

Massively overcharged me for things that didn't need to be done. Ended up paying over £600 to release my car! Some things they charged me for hadn't even been done. Avoid at all costs

Will never use again service price good but always add on my car done 6000 miles not even 1 year old had service but wanted another £ 270 + on top of my service they are more expensive than the dealer absolutely day light robbery

Please avoid, read all the other reviews and this is applicable to me as well. Gutted i got taken in by the professional website and the trust pilot reviews on their website. Please avoid.

If I could give -5 stars I would. Felt robbed . They over charged everything and said that did services that I will never know if they did it. Charged for a new tyre that wasn't fitted. Engine flush and fuel treatment wasn't asked for and charged £140,00 for that. Never ever . Don't Believe that easy comes cheap.

Scam alert (don't make my mistake). Just don't be lazy, find a local garage or mechanic that your family or friends can vouch for. Now, let's dive into the story. Servicing Stop was referred to me by a 'friend'. I am now questioning the relationship between me and said 'friend' because this is a modern-day scam. I have no idea how it continues to exist. Further to this review, I will be getting into contact with Watchdog and sharing this feedback on all platforms possible. They exploited my lack of car knowledge and charged me for things I don't even (care to) understand. Ultimately, I talked to the garage that performed the work. Wait for it... they charged Servicing Stop around £100 to £150 for the work done. And servicing bumped this up to a final invoice of £514. Absolute. Scam. I have chalked this down to a learning lesson. TLDR: Booked a service and MOT for around £100. Everything was wrong with the car in the end and I had to pay £514 to have my car released.

Don't think I will be using this company again. Service was undertaken fine but the car has had more problems after the service than I have had in the last 12months. Heating and Air Con now does not work after 2days, steering wheel has so much play in it that I deem it dangerous and the service management light remains on. Company who undertook the service states its not their fault and wants to charge me for looking at the issues. Total joke

I am not happy with the service at all. I know I have a fairly flat rear offside tyre. I made the person who collected it aware of this and they said they would look into it. The PSI was 20 when they took it (it should be about 35) so I knew it had a slow puncture. When the vehicle was returned it was still 20psi. I have then inspected all the other wheels, none of the caps had been removed at all (the car is quite dirty so I can see no one has touched the wheels) Genuinely I do not believe anyone has look at the wheels at all. This is so dangerous and I will not be using your company again. Charging me extra for ‘specialist oil’ they gave me no choice about having. Tried to insist that I needed loads of extras as well. As a female I think they thought I would fall for it- I didn’t! They left me a message to call them back, but the number goes through to an answer phone. Waited an hour on the generic customer service number, to then be cut off. Absolute cowboys!
