Don’t bother the guy rang me and told me to ring his personal number as servicing stop listen in to that line. Told me to avoid once they have your car they hit you with overpriced jobs that don’t need doing. Impossible to get to speak to anybody at servicing stop didnt even confirm what garage so I could ask questions so I cancelled last minute ! If it seems too good to be true probably is 😡 Avoid at all costs 👎

Rip off,, was quoted £105 for a service which was very competitive then wanted £9 to dispose of old engine oil plus £6 to top up fluids then extra £30 for specialist oil and ridiculous price quote to replace spark plugs at £25 each. Very misleading quotes.

Where to start. Phase 1 - Booking for MOT and service was simple - immediate phone call confirmation - paid early for a discount - car picked up on day - all good so far. Phase 2 - phone call - Failed MOT - I'll send you a report then we can discuss - bill arrives - all up £1750 for work to get my MOT to pass [basically my whole suspension system was shot - all shocks and struts] and another £750 for service advisories with eye watering prices. - No thank you send the car back please Phase 3 - Take to local garage for a reshow on the MOT £39 - Pass with just advisories on the tyres however noted that coolant reservoir was low (2 days after a major service) Phase 4 - I want my money back - sorry pal no chance som garages are more lenient than others for MOT Phase 5 - This review Phase 6 - to be confirmed - might just put it down to experience however, I wouldn't touch them again with a barge pole. Work was not necessary and massively overprices so felt like they were playing me a little bit. Luckily I am just the price of a cheap MOT and Cheap service down. But buy cheap buy twice in this case.

I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. Enticed with an offer email, promptly booked. Was told I would get a call the night before collection, this didn't happen. Was scheduled to have the car collected between 8-10, 8:40 I was told it would be 20 mins, an hour later I was told they were 10 mins away. They arrived 10:10. Not a big deal but should have been a flag. Got a call at 3:30pm detailing the extensive and extortionate repairs needed (£700+), foolishly agreed and paid, because I needed my car by end of the day. 6pm comes, no car, no one to get hold of, so I paid £700+ to get my car back, but I'm still getting the bus. Absolutely scammers. AVOID

I used servicing stop for my car service this week, although it is convenient for some to have your car picked up and dropped off I personally wouldn't use them again. They quoted me over £1000 (on top of the up front service cost) for works to be done, I assume they probably bump up the price of the works that need completing as i was quoted £310.69 for my drive belt replacement but a local garage have just quoted £125.98. Replacement rear break pads they quoted £239.22, local garage quoted £137.00. I did pay for the specialist oil (£30?!) and other than that it was basically engine flush and topping up some break fluid & antifreeze as it was a little weak (which i actually happen to have in my boot).. I have only had the car a few months so I'm happy to put right anything that needs doing but not via servicing stop. Also trying to get through to them on the phone was near impossible, phone kept would just cut off when calling, i spoke with the garage who had my car and they had the same issue trying to get hold of servicing stop.

I wish I could have read the reviews earlier. DON'T think of even trying them. They will loot you and then only leave your car. My car MOT failed and then asking me for 900 to pass it. For a wiper they asked me to pay me 75£ and 170£ for a single tire. I got this done later from my local garage for just 150£ for both. Their CC service is very bad, u can't get thru. They released my car the next day.

It seems a really good idea. Plenty of messages pre MOT and service Then comes the shock. As every review written, wanted almost £1000 .OK would have agreed front brake failure on the MOT at £380 But the extras for a service pushed it up to almost £1000. They ring with this advice adding extra this, extra that so quick you can't even tot it up. I asked for final figure and it was almost £1000. So I asked for my car to be brought back and he said I had to come for it myself, about 40 minutes away . Trying to get in touch to speak to someone is impossible. No phone number just a chat line after waiting A long time. I was on tenterhooks for 5 hours wondering if I was getting my car back and if they had done the work and charged me for it Car returned failed MOT but no work done. So cost me £98 for an MOT. Just glad to get my car back and get it done locally. These people are not pleasant to deal with and I agree it's just a big scam. Don't be fooled by what looks like a good idea and read all reviews.

Absolute con. Prices are extortionate. Try to sell you finance to cover the £1000 bill. No phone number to phone them. Works completed without authorisation and then billed to your credit card. Illegal practices.

Absolutely con merchants. Booked my car in for a service and then 6 hours later they called me saying I need new front brakes, brake fluid and anti freeze and wanted to charge me £650! When I refused to pay they started saying I need to leave a review before the car is returned to me. I booked the brakes in for £100 at another garage the day after, we checked our car and we have a completely full tank of anti freeze and brake fluid so this shows how much they were clearly trying to con us. Will never ever use again and will never recommend to anyone. Absolutely disgusting.

added services to a quote that where not requested. always expect to pay more. Been in dispute with them and had the call recording script. I never asked for oil or brake fluid, only two services which would have cost £400. as I know nothing about cars, the quote came to £700. I was told I would get a link via text to pay...then came with no break down of services. I paid. later I went to my emails and saw the extra services I did not request. BUT because the agent mentioned brake fluid would last two years...the only mention if brake fluid on the call...they believe I approved this.... taking this case further

Original service charge of £142 paid up front. Then the phone call for the extras. I ended up paying just under £700. Your held to ransom and you have to give a review before you receive your invoice. Stay well away. My local garage usually charges around £300 for full service. STAY CLEAR

Could not rate this company low enough. Booked in over a month ago for MOT, beyond a week later they have still not picked up my car! Beyond unprofessional. The first time having already informed them of having no parking at my place 3 weeks in advance, they still showed up with only one driver so I had to call his boss to reaarange for the following day. The following day it goes beyond the time they assured me that they would collect and after phoning and emailing and being ignored they turn up out of the blue over 3 hours late when I’m in a meeting and not at home. Having the finally got through to somebody that evening and informed them of the whole situation it gets rebooked for the following Monday. At this point I had had to spend excessive amounts on Ubers to get myself to work, a problem I tried to avoid by booking numerous weeks in advance but this did not make a difference clearly. After having another unsuccessful attempt from them to pick up today I have had to request a refund and will be taking to Halfords tomorrow for a stress free MOT as it should be. Avoid this company at all costs!

HEADLINE: **NEVER EVER USE THIS SERVICE** And read ALL the small print! I spoke to 4 guys on the phone who were all rude and unhelpful.** _______________________________________________________________________________________ Prologue: They are so good at getting you to pay up front for what seems like its going to be a cheap price - I was suckered in months ago (First mistake). Comms up front are good and all seems to be going swimmingly. ________________________________________ BUT, once they have your car it's basically held hostage. You have no idea where it is and then you get the 'lunchtime call' "there's a few extras required"...another £300-£400 worth in fact. I have a lease car, so at this point I asked if it was absolutely necessary to pass the VW service plan, as otherwise I didn't want it done. They said the brake pads could be missed but that a list of other things couldn't so, I felt like I had no choice - I said "OK". And therein lay my second mistake. You then get an email (which I didn't read fully - third mistake) saying that ordinarily you would have 14 days to change your mind BUT that agreeing to anything on the phone waives your rights. I contacted VW who said they would be happy to do the whole service including all the parts Servicingstop had listed for over £100 less. So, I immediately called servicestop back. Strangely, not so quick to answer the phone this time....15 mins in fact. Then a young guy told me I could only speak to Daniel as he was my service manager but, unfortunately he was with another customer, so I would be added as his 'next outgoing call' on the system. Over an hour later....I call back (another 15 minute wait) to be told exactly the same by another young guy, so I asked to be put on hold until Daniel was available...phone went dead. I call back, another young guy tells me exactly the same - except this time apparently Daniel is away on lunch (interesting since guy No. 2 had apparently been looking at him across an office!)...."and anyway the works probably been completed by now as you verbally agreed to it on the phone" (please see mistakes 1 & 2!) I said please check with the garage that so I can cancel. SURPRISE! only Daniel (who has been unavailable for the last two hours) can ring and ask a garage if the work has been started. Interesting business model. Sounds like the 'delay the customer -> work gets done -> customer HAS pay' model. I need my car, so with this info I pay the bill in full - they were quick at sending the receipt and the first 'work undertaken' document I had had access to. I did however email customer service about the price of the items being so much more than VW themselves. I won't bore you with the Jessica's response which basically says they are very upfront about their costs and processes (ahahahahahaha) to which I replied " whatever helps you sleep at night but please release my car from this hostage situation". _______________________________ Epilogue: To add insult to injury Jessica responded saying the garage where behind with their schedule! (how could she possibly know this when only Daniel has access to the garage? - maybe they have a lone wolf in their mix?!) and that they would try to get it back for between 4-6pm. So here I sit at my workdesk at 5pm on POETS day awaiting a call to say my hostage is being released and I can limp back home from work after a very long and expensive week. But SERIOUSLY....for your sanity and your wallet - don't touch them with a barge pole.

These guys will rob you blind. Oil flush for cars which don’t need it is there easiest money maker. Use at your own risk.
