My car was taken 20 miles away to an unnamed garage, in Stirling as far as I am aware and was not returned!. I still do not have my car back and that has been a major incovenience. I have no idea who has it or where it is. No updates from Servicing Stop. Just appalling. Their Customer Service Centre states open until 8pm. It is definitely not. They tried to get more money off me when I called them. They do not answer your calls but phone you back after yiu leave a voice mail. A guy spoke about me needing to follow a link to pay a fee to release the car. I had to pay that as as I seemed to be in a powerless position. I can only hope that my car is returned to me tomorrow.

I paid for a full service keeping in mind my car is only 12 months old with 3000 miles on the clock I then get a phone call saying they wanted another £160 plus from me for which I refused but had to pay for according to them a premium oil they used which cost me a further £46.77p before they would release my car so I had no choice, please please DONOT use these people.

If I could give this company 0 I would If I could give this company 0 I would. Total disgrace of a company, I will definitely not be using them again, and I will tell everybody who will listen the same. Customer service was shocking beyond belief. Car was collected for a service and MOT. Received a call off the garage at nearly 5pm to tell me it had failed it’s Mot, which fair enough this happens. Service stop eventually called me to tell me the same needed a new shock absorber and tyre near side front. I explained I’d only had two new tyres put on the front within the last 2 weeks. I was told I needed to take that up with the garage who’d fitted it. I was then quoted £845 to do the repairs as I couldn’t get the car as it was classed as dangerous to drive. It also didn’t help they’d taken my car to another county and about 25 miles away. Thankfully I found a garage to do the work for £290…. Where did they get £845 from. Absolute rip off merchants and I will be reporting them to trading standards

DO NOT USE THEM, they will try to sell you extra unwanted things. They are trying to make money from recommending unnecessary work. Once you say no, they become very rude and hang the phone on you.

The garage in Wimbledon were nearly an hour collecting my car and even later in returning it. Once it had been inspected I got a call from Servicing Stop. The man spoke at break neck speed so it was difficult to understand the various items of work he was listing. One of the items that was recommended but not essential to pass the MoT was the replacement of the front brake pads. This seemed strange as I'd not long had them replaced. I opted not to have any of the non-essential work carried out and later took my car to a family-owned garage recommended by a friend. They confirmed that the front brake pads were "nearly new" and that the auxiliary fan belt that I'd been told needed replacing was "as good as new". I would never use Servicing Stop again.

They took advantage of my ignorance of cars. They charged me for things I didn't need and overcharged me for things I did need. Literally twice the price of Halfords. They did lure me in with the cheap MOT and service but once they'd done that, they made their profit from unscrupulous charges. Based on the advice of a friend who's an engineer, I ended up paying about £350 more than I would have done at a regular garage. My advice would be to find a reputable local garage. Many will pick up and drop off your car anyway. But even if they don't, paying for a taxi will be much cheaper than using Servicing Stop. I have attached a copy of the invoice. My friend (who is an engineer) commented: Most of the “Service Advisory” items are (arguably) unnecessary. I am going to do a bit of educated guessing based upon the registration and mileage that I can see Oil surcharge – (Low ash oil). Is it a diesel (with a dust particulate filter)? If not - for a 17MY car with 22k miles on the clock ….., its totally unnecessary Tracking reset …. £31.99 at Halfords (including VAT) Brake Fluid … Vauxhall Main Dealer (fixed price) for Brake Fluid change is £59 including VAT (brakes would be more expensive to change than clutch fluid) Clutch fluid change does not even appear to be on the service schedule for your car at a main dealer Parking brake adjustment. This would be a case of tweaking a few nuts (between 1 and 3 maybe? ….. my guess would be a single adjuster nut underneath the handrake lever) £70 for this would appear excessive unless it was part of a major handbrake issue …. In which case it would not have been “advisory” (and I would doubt would be necessary of a car with 22k miles) Coolant Change …. Unnecessary on a car the age of yours and with such a low mileage (though a main dealer would have this on the service schedule for a 4 year old car). But if you chose to do it - Halfords price for this would be £39 on their website Engine Flush ….Why? Absolutely unnecessary on a petrol car with such low milage. They sometime use an engine flush additive in the old oil…. Run it for 10 or 20 mins which helps loosen grime and then drain everything. Price for this is between £3 and £6.

Booked my BMW 320i for full service on 2nd of June and car to be returned the sameday before 6pm,unfortunarely my car was not returned.recevied a call from the garage that car would be delivered the 3rd of June.It was disgusted not to abide by the agreement that car will be delivered back the on 2nd of June. The car was deliveref by the garage without any paper work to know what work was done in full service. The garage guy was not willing to let me have the key unless I pay £100 in cash without any receipt.I was not happy about this demand of £100 pounds. The agreement with Servicing Stop was that my car was delivered free.I suspected that I am being conned by the garage. There was other news was that my car failed the MOT. I thought this was the biggest scamme I ever experienced.I phoned the Servicing Sfop, was by a lady at the recetion that they cant help and put the phone down on me. This full service cost me a lot, I paid £104.57 +£24.00 +vat +all the filters not told the price + vat on all the items.and £100.pounds to get the car back.I feel ashamed on this company for this act and my car did not even pass the MOT. I will advise to walk away from this Company. Having had this service done my car is not running smoothly. This is an hight of dishonesty to conne people.I always thought that hounesty is the best policy.I have no papers work given that what work had been done.No vedeio was provuded.

Worst company ever! Avoid at all costs. The cost which you pay online basically covers just the fact that a guy comes to pick up and drop off your car. That's it!!! The oil change is minimum 46 pounds on top of what you paid online and they try to keep pushing a list to you with many things which needs to be changed. Their first initial total to me was over 500 pounds. I decided to pay only for the oil change and take the car to a garage which my friends recommended me and I paid only 120 pounds. They are scammers and have so many hidden costs and overpriced parts.

I would give them no stars if i could. Last year they were meant to bring my car back on the same day,no communication it just never came back till next day. Thought i would give them the benefit if the doubt as they offered me a 25 pound loyalty discount that was never honoured. This time, because i had no extra work done they swindled me out of an extra 45 pound. Then they sent me 2 different priced invoices with entirely different prices for the same items. You cant get in touch to speak to somebody..number unobtainable, they are a bunch of crooks. Am not going to be so gullible for my next service

DO NOT USE - they quote you a low fee and then once they have your car - they grossly overcharge. The garage that actually did the work said they would have charged us a 1/5 of what we paid Service Stop. My wife was kept on the phone for an hour just to speak to someone. Just use a local reputable garage that you know

Same experience as all the other comments! Didn’t tell me they were driving the car to Bolton and again stated it needed a lot of unnecessary work! Couldn’t get through to any of the contact numbers to say I didn’t want the work to be completed as they stated if they didn’t hear from me they’d do the work anyway Stay away..

Scam, they take your car and report unnecessary work at a premium price. I got scammed over a grand for work which a local garage would have done for a third of the price. Do trust them at all. Car was also left dirty and hand oil stains everwhere in the cockpit. They are a scam centre so just use someone local.

Don’t use this as it is frustrating the customer service is -100 , they do not reply. My car was booked for Mot and they didn’t turn up, they want to rebook it for a week later when my Mot is expiring today. They don’t even deserve 1 star.

Total farce sorting out a collection day for my car, they kept changing it. Paid for mot and service upfront and then got stung another £70 extra for supposedly special oil and a new sump plug. Car does not take special oil and the old sump plug is still in the sump. The company in my opinion are con artists. I had to agree to the extras in order to get my car back. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THEM AND GO TO AN HONEST GARAGE IT'S THE ONLY WAY YOU WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY.

Specialist oil is a con. Plus all the other unnecessary garbage the salesman Daniel tried to add onto my service. I should have told him to shove it, but as i’d already payed up front, and was at work and stressed, i decided to take the hit for the bs engine oil extra, but refused everything else he tried to add on. What a total con and rip off. My car didn’t even return clean, and i’ll be inspecting the work recorded on my invoice. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
