“Its a scam with the agents trying to rip you off for unwated changes. They entice you with a goiod price for the servicing and as soon as the car is handed over a lot more gets added by the agents on the call. I got a call advising me with a host of charges and i asked to have a look online to see what i want to accept. The agent just sent me an invoice with all the charges added and when i called back to take the charges off, i was advised that all the work has been done and i need to pay. The agent refused to release the car unless i make the full payment although i had email evidence that i had not asked for the services to be added. I had to wait for a day when the customer service was able to take these charges off based on the email that i had sent and i got my car back the next day. the servicing was good, the customer service was good , its only these agents in between who want to maximise the money on the servicing needlessly. definitely avoiding these guys”

“Most horrible experience! Booked a service and MOT, they picked up my car late in the day (were supposed to pickup at 9am). They do not tell you what garage it is at, and you dont get to speak to the garage during the process. They had my car for THREE DAYS!!!, I was on the busses and trains to work (50 miles away) they told me on the second day that I needed 2 tyres and rear brakes redone and would cost me 810.00 (which I had no choice but to pay). You cannot contact them except by email or chat bot (complete waste of time). Absolutely no substitute for a local garage no matter how bad they are. Three days to replace a set of tyres and two sets of brake pads... it was an unreal experience that I never want to repeat.”

“I Booked the car in for service & mot and I expected to pay a fee on top for my oil and spark plugs but when I was told it had failed the mot I said I would have the car back and do the work elsewhere and then have it rebooked in but Daniel then said why would I do this and kept on questioning me I told him I wasn’t happy so he hung up on me I then rang back and he said that we will get the car back to me and then hung up again In the end I had to get them to do the work as I haven’t got time to book the car in elsewhere as it had no mot. I basically had no choice I told them to do the work and was quoted £180 I then had a phone call to say the work was done and had to pay £466 instead of £180 by this point I had given up and just accepted it as I couldn’t do anything as they had my car I then agreed to pay and Daniel said before I pay I have to leave feedback before it allows me to go the payment screen and he would refund £10 for a good review I wanted to leave a bad review but was worried they would do something to my car as they still had it.”

“It's on average expensive than other places around but I was nearly 6 years regular customer because it's closer to my place. Recently I had took my car there for MOT I had to leave my car there over night because it needed a part. In the morning I spotted a scratch which was not there we did have argument inside the reception because they kept saying it's an old scratch fare enough then I decided to leave & walked out. The guy who sits on the reception followed me and he was really abusive and aggressive towards me. I wish I recoded a video. Such a disgusting behaviour!! Not going back ever again. AVOID at all cost!”

“Absolute disgusting service! Entrapped my wife into paying over £600 for front brake disks, pads & brake fluid on a V. Corsa by saying theyve already started working on the car after she repeatedly told them not to begin the work until she received a quote. If you wish to have your car fixed, DO NOT take it to this company! These people are con artists & will rip you off given the opportunity!!!”

“Fitted a dangerous old tyre instead of a new one, avoid like the plague, can not be trusted! Impossible to talk to a human, only does 'online chat' or email, where they respond in 7-10 days, simply awful service.”

“This is a scam. Surprised that Trading Standards haven't already picked them up. Booked my car in for a full service. For £96.00. later they tried to charge me£150.00 when the job was complete. They did not carry out a full service at all. They simply changed the oil filter alone. They use the opportunity of your car being in the garage to create more business. They quoted me in excess of £500 to change wipers, 2 bulbs and a belt within an hour of picking up my car. The same job was offered to be done by the garage that I use regularly an hour later for £120.00. they are simply overpricing everything to make a kill. Vulnerable customers and those that do not understand cars will be definitely be duped by their semantics. They also do not pick the car up on time and more tha often delay it. There really was no aspect to their service that was good. The worst part is that they quote you a price for a full.servuce and then try to scam you of more money at the end by changing the quote. Apparently, when I raised it, I learnt that the small print includes more costs. Stay away.”

“This is a scam, do not use. They did a MOT at webbers Ltd in sprindle way, they took out 3 bulbs so the car would fail its MOT and then kept our car without informing us with any information. Their customer agent on webchat said our car is at their garage. The address they give is for a reputable garage called star auto clinic. This is not where Service stop Ltd are keeping our vehicles. This great garage is getting angry phone calls from people, this is not star auto clinics. They got caught out today. I shall be filing a police report in regards to this and have advised said garage to as well. DO NOT USE. DO NOT TRUST.”

“This is a scam. I booked my fiat 500 in for a service and MOT with this company and then they ripped me off with loads of work which my car didn’t need and overcharged my more than 5x the amount that it should have costed me. They took my car in the morning and brought it back later that day and I then looked into it as the driver who brought my car back had said that that was an absurd amount of money for my car and that was when I realised that it takes more than a day to do what my car “needed”. So I spoke to a garage and they were questioning whether they have done anything at all to my car- do not trust this company even if the reviews are good, they are all fake bots thank god they didn’t take my car as they easily could have- Avoid this at ALL costs!!!!⚠️ I was charged £900 for repairs that should have costed £160 at the absolute most.”

“Servicing Stop’s business model is to link you to a local garage and overcharge by about double the amount necessary. We have evidence of this from local garages who have provided us with written evidence of the overcharging. My son was charged £1800 for repairs that should have cost no more than £900. The car isn’t even worth £1800. He’s a young driver and didn’t realise such companies take advantage and now he’s locked in to a credit agreement paying off the repairs. We have complained but received no response. The local garage say it’s nothing to do with them, all they do is the repairs advised by servicing stop. Do not use this company, is my advice. All they do is route you to a local garage, so to save yourself hundreds of pounds, you’d be best advised to go straight to a local garage.”

“They dont keep in contact with you quickly on what stage the vehicle is at. I spoke to the garage personally that they used who told me they let service stop know of the work that was needed to be completed at 10am, they then relayed that information to me at 1530, leaving the garage not enough time to complete the work. Service stop had told me all work had been completed at 1630 and they was dropping my car off at 1730-1830 but obviously they didn't. I drove to the garage the next morning to collect what i was led to believe a repaired vehicle. Customer service interaction was shocking, the guy was very rude after he tried blowing smoke up my bum, the vehicle got further damage in there care and they refused to take responsibility amd blamed me for poot maintenance of the vehicle, the vehicle was running absolutely fine prior to being handed over. Avoid at all costs, cut out the middle man and go directly to the garage your self. Before the garage even has a look at it they attempt to get money out of you for work they think it needs during the drive.”

“Their commercial model appears to be grab new customers with great headline prices for MOT's and add ons like full service but then rip you off with loads of work often at excessive prices. They then call to explain (very quickly !) the "extras" to you as though they are nothing much BUT in my experience ran into several hundreds of pounds. Will definitely not use again (but as i said i don't think they are really after loyal customer or repeat business. My advice would be to go to someone with a better reputation. BTW - i am going to try and check they have actually done the work stated - as best i or a garage can.”

“Booked my Audi in for a service and MOT as I sustained an injury. Marked caps and nuts with paint markers and checked fluids and sent the car away. It came back non of the fluids were replaced/changed or topped up, non of the nuts to pollen filter, air filter or even wheels were touched! Yet they charged me! AVOID.”

“This is a scam. They said they would collect my car and do an MOT and update the Jaguar History website, as an official Jaguar service provider. They charged me £299.00 for filling up my break fluid. This company is not legimate and should not be operating.”

“I would not recommend. Poor communication , they tell you they will come one day and they don’t even bother to call that you have been scheduled for another day. Then they lay about what the price is fir the materials, they charge double than the garage will do.And there is no way of getting a refund from them. AVOID”
