“Absolute robbers, £900 service, plus never done air con regas and charged me and was also advised that I needed a new battery at the cost of, Wait for it…. £450…. Told them where to poke it, can’t believe they are in business still… trading standards need to take a look at these rip off cowboys”

“Absolute con artists they promote the low price to lure you in and once they have your car your basically hooked!! Tried to charge me for an auxiliary belt which I know is fine my dad is a retired mechanic, they proceeded to tell me I needed my 4 year old car engine flushed despite only having 18000 miles on the clock I tried to question this and he was rude arrogant I told him brake fluid is £8 pounds to buy and that my engine does not need special oil Nissan owners manual states Castrol GTX 5W -30 which is around £17 and told me I was plucking prices out of thin air AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!! will be reporting to trading standards please don’t get caught out with them £237 for some filters and belt that are not necessary my car has never missed a service and is in great condition he tried to talk over me with jargon but I did not fall for this he was sharp with me and said I won’t have completed a full service yes I have as it’s only oil and filter changes needed. The garage were great with me can’t fault them got the feeling they weren’t really happy working with service stop and I can see why !!!!”

“This people charged me 498pounds for full service with no new parts has been replaced except one tyre and they haven't returned my on the same day waste of money and time the quote given was was complete trash........ My humble request to all don't loose your money”

“And I had a full service on my Vauxhall Astra but I had an advisory to change the brake fluid and drain the brakes so obviously I agreed and had the work undertaken at a cost of £80 to my disappointment this work was not carried out. What they did was syringe the old fluid out of the bottle and replaced it with new fluid not draining the brakes its self as this job is time-consuming and quite honestly they couldn’t be bothered to do it by the looks of it. How I found out this wasn’t done I took it to my local mechanic who is extremely reliable and could see and add pictures of the work not carried out very disappointed will not be using service stop again also I would like to make known that the car Service stop is based in Kidlington so please be aware people.”

“Worst experience ever as a motorist: paid in full for service and MOT. They change the garage twice in the morning because staff was not available. Then I received a call in the afternoon asking to pay over £1000 for repairs I knew they are not needed (2 front tires for £400)! When I demanded for them to return the car, they advised that I will not be able to collect it until the payment is made (none of the works were done anyway). I spent 4 hours on the phone with no answer then left work early to rush to the garage. The workers blocked the car and refused me to get close until Servicing Stop instruct them to do it. In the end Servicing Stop sent a bill of £50 to release the car, which, without much choice I had to pay. Never, ever again returning to them! Save your money and nerves and stay away! They are crooks and thieves. I'm surprised that authorities are not doing anything to stop them robbing people.”

“It's negative rating! I have booked full service but looks like nothing have been done. The servicing stop is just a operator who would like to make money and simple word broker. Find your own local garage or dealer to get reasonable and reliable garage. Looks like nothing has been done. Total scam”

“Big scam! Paid in advance for a service 3 year old car and mot. They called and tried to add on £300on top of what I paid I refused and they withheld my car and wouldn’t pick up phone. You can’t call them after they take car and they don’t return car till you pay their made up extra bill”

“Failed to collect car twice, really fed up as MOT now overdue. Paid up front for a service and MOT, now can't get through on the phone and no agents available on the webchat to arrange my 5-10 day refund (also a joke!). Wouldn't trust them again.”

“Avoid at all cost, they bring up all sort of charges that you did not account for. They used their terms and conditions to rob me professionally. Had a much better exeprience from other comparison sites.”

“BE WARNED. By using servicingstop to have your cars repaired you are guaranteed to be ripped off because its part of their business model. Just to give you an idea by how much a service job plus MOT that would normally cost around £220.00 plus VAT cost over £500.00 plus vat. If you go with them the contract is between you and servicestop and servicestop contract with the garage servicing/repairing your car. They then more than double the price to you. I can understand adding a reasonable margin of say 10-20 percent but more than 100 percent is just out of this world. I learned my lesson the hard way and hope you will be far more savvy than me. I made my thoughts very clear to them and if not for that the final invoice would have been even higher.”

“Our car was not returned by 6pm as promised after a service / MOT. By then the contact number we were given was switched off and customer care line was closed. Spent a very worrying night concerned that we’d been scammed and someone had stolen the car. Eventually the garage returned it the following day blaming Servicing Stop. DO NOT use this company…dangerous, expensive and unreliable.”

“Misleading/ do not trust At first I thought I had a good deal booking with them. Then they call me to say that I needed to pay for a Special Oil for which I said I did not wanted but I had no choice (Long lasting oil, that is supposed to hold at least until your next Service) Therfore Oil £29.99 + £9.59 for environmental surcharge + £7.19 for fluid top up total £46.76 for which I had no choice but to pay if I wanted my car released! Anyway when booking there system should tell you if your car needs special oil. It's all marketing and Priced to mislead you. WHATCH OUT!”

“The worse company ever I book x5 for service for £165 full service and after they took the car someone called me and said I have to pay £482 I said for what he said break fluid and anti freeze and engine oil and filter and air filter so that’s fair but not for this price so he said they will charge me for draining the old oil out £79 I said why it didn’t say that u charge for that.Then he said it’s says in the term and condition and who read it ? Ones he said that I knew it they r rubbish company and scamming the people How come they hide behind the term and condition unless they r thief I emailed them and no respond I put one star coz this is the lowest I can go but they don’t deserve this one star”

“DO NOT USE SERVICING STOPS. Absolute rip off. My hubby usually does our car stuff but is so busy in work I thought I'd sort it myself. £102 if paid upfront didn't sound too bad. Driver guy collects car this morning. Early afternoon I receive a call from someone saying there's loads wrong with my 2015 Mokka. I have to pay over £1000 for an Aux belt, brake pads, passenger front light, special oil and environmental disposal of old oil! Once I'd picked myself up off the floor I told the guy no, my hubby could do these jobs. Guy got very irate and said I was legally bound to pay £46 for the 'special oil' & disposal and if I didn't then they would not release my car back to me. He said the car wasn't road worthy and I might have to go collect it myself as I wouldn't pay for it 'fixing'. I agreed to pay the £46 and asked for confirmation of the other 'essential' work so I could let my hubby know. The guy on the phone became really abrupt & defensive b4 saying I'd receive it in an email, he then hung up on me. Delivery guy arrived at 6 and my hubby went out to spk with him. He said this was a regular thing & he was always getting shouted at by customers! He agreed the car had driven back to us perfectly & the brakes were spot on. The light works and when we searched for the 'belt' it only costs about a tenner!! This company prays on people whom they hope, have no clue about cars then throw parts names at them with extortionate £££. They should be struck off!!!”

“Gave a list of items that needed doing told him (Gary) I would have it repaired by my own garage at that he put the phone down on me them charged extra £48 with no explanation. Phoned him several times never answered Keep sway they are absolute con men and should be prosecuted”

“If I could leave no stars I would. I have sent them an email with no response over a week. When my car was in I called to say that I found the price cheaper at my local garage. They told me that I would have to pay for the work that har already been done and my car would be marked as failed if I tried to take it back. I couldn't get through to my sales guy all day so I paid thinking that they would honour the price guarantee. After further research they actually charged me more than my dealer would for ACTUAL work that needed doing, NOT their "recommendations". I'm still waiting for a response to my price match refund over a week later. I will not be using them again.”
