Booked full service as advertised for £99. They said car would be picked up between 8am and 10am I received call to say although I had specified on my order I wanted local garages (Kettering) only they were coming from Rugby. I had no choice but to agree as had taken day off work. She came at 11 10am. Later got call from Servicestop which listed work that needed doing in the sum of £640. I was shocked and asked for a breakdown and eventually cut a few things out and the total came to £500 but they said I could pay over 4 months interest free. I was still unsure and the bloke was getting impatient and said I needed to hurry up and make my mind up as the garage needed to get started. I reluctantly agreed to the work but then regretted it so phoned them back to ask them just to bring my car back. They argued that all the safety checks would not be done now but I just asked them to tell me what to pay and bring my car back. They said I needed to pay £147 61 or my car would not be returned. I have no idea what that was for so basically I have spent nearly £150 for the privilege of having to get up early unnecessariy and be without my car less the fuel they have used for the journey between Rugby and Kettering twice and my car still needs a service! So so angry grrrr

Go to a local garage Go to a local garage. Booked in a small petrol car requiring first MOT and was quoted £138. First thing was a call to my wife suggesting over £700 of extra 'work' for unecessary things like coolant change and engine flush. On a car with just 15800 miles and long life (24 month) service intervals. They will take advantage by trying to sell you unnecessary work. Charged extra £30 for long life oil (they knew the car make and model at quoting stage as they had the registration). The oil is £18.99 at Halfords. Avoid at all costs and don't believe the large number of positive reviews, which seem to refer to the directors in London by name. Protect your older family members from the apparent convenience of this company. Apparently they were on Dragons den, but they're out for whatever they can make out of you.

Avoid at all cost! PURE SCAMMERS. Initially when booking online my vehicle I chose 77 Point full service, when vehicle brought I asked the driver to ring garage and ask of what has been done, found out that only oil change and oil filter been done that's all. Paid £220 for what!!! Void at all cost.

Absolute scumbags do not use. Paid £94 for a service called me 2 hours after the car had been done advising it needed £1200 worth of work I said not a chance. I called the garage directly and said the additional work totalled £240 how can this company operate it’s completely illegal what they are doing and they are giving the garages a bad rep when it’s not the garages fault avoid avoid

Yeah, we had a service one month ago, paid full money £550 passed its mot , found out today it’s 4 litre short of oil , Halfords advised us not good , make your own mind up,I not a fan of pricey H , but will be lot lot cheaper than going service stop, might be convenient, but a month or so down the line , your guess as as good as ours 😓😓

Charged for a service and an MOT. Price of the service escalated (starting low) They failed to tell the garage that had ordered a service BUT still charged me. Firm almost impossible to talk to (phone) Will I get a refund?????????

Shocking! DO NOT USE!! I foolishly used this service and all was fine until I get a call to say I need £1500 worth of work to be done. I really should have asked for photos to prove what was required but did not think of doing that (more fool me). I agreed to the essential work (1x tyre, back break pads and disks and Engine flush for oil) and they guy who called was pushy about getting all their suggested work done, so I did not have (2 further tyres at a cost of around £300+VAT and antifreeze at a cost of £88??) At 9:15pm the car still had not been returned and no call or update (and they do not answer their phones when I kept trying to call from around 6pm and was getting worried). This caused massive problems with work as I needed my car the next day, but had to very late at night try to cancel appointments. The next day I called and got through to be told there was a delay in a part delivery and I would get a call (still no call from them!) I have got my car back now, but…. The work they charged me for (I.e. the break pads and disks at a cost of £500, the invoice in the car was £99.46 for this) They are absolute robbers and I would say avoid like the place, especially as their service is poor, they are pushy, and I at least, have lost a days work and SIGNIFICANTLY over paid (tyre invoice £64.39, I was charged over £170!) diabolical. Please do not make the mistake of using this company! It gets worse! I have visited National to have the two other tyres replaced at a fraction of the cost this company was charging, and have been told and shown that there are missing wheel nuts on my tyre!! I had not checked and have asked them to just have a look over the vehicle as it seemed not quite right, but I didn’t think it was missing any nuts on the wheel. 100% they were there before they took the car (and it’s a tyre they wanted to replace and I then said no to it). Please, for your own safety, DO NOT USE SERVICE STOP! I will be seeking legal advice and advise that you go to a reputable provider to protect yourself and your family.

This company should not be trading. They are scamming people out of money. My car was picked up yesterday no problem. I had pre-paid (for a £20 discount!) £149. They collected my car no problem the next morning at the appropriate time. It was an independent mechanic they had sourced locally. 2 hours later they called me up to give me a quote for additional work that needed doing. They guy on the other end of the phone was speaking at a ridiculous speed listing off job after job that needed doing. I told him to slow down but he wouldn't, obviously trying to confuse me. I told him I wanted it in writing, which he sent, and he gave me 10 minutes to make a decision, obviously trying to pressure me. The total came to over £900! I called the mechanic in the 10 minutes and he told me that they had not recommended any extra work and they were completely unaware of it! Servicingstop called back and were obviously expecting me to say yes. When I informed them that I would not be proceeding because I didn't think any of the work was necessary he became very rude and abrupt and insisted that I pay £30 for special long life oil because it was part of the T&Cs - in spite of the mechanic confirming this was also not needed. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Very bad service. It is a trap to earn money for them. They will repair whatever they want and charge for it. Even without inform the customer. Customer can’t call back . We need to wait for them to call back. It is the trap they used mean while they complete all task and charge. We can’t cancel or discuss anything. Better or use

Don't get sucked in by the low price quotes... you will end up paying hundreds more for completely unnecessary work Booked in for a service quoted at £105 (paid upfront), which sounded very reasonable Ended up paying over £500 essentially for an oil change and a top up of coolant Unnecessary diagnostics at over £120... They wanted to change my front brake pads and an air filter for another £300 but I refused They didn't even stamp my service book And to add insult to injury, despite having paid in full that day my car was returned a day late with no warning / explanation (meant to be returned same day) Emailed customer services 2 weeks ago plus additional emails since - no response Looking at all of these other reviews it seems I'm not alone I won't be using again and would not recommend to anyone I think 1 star is generous!

Avoid like the plague hidden costs not told until they need to drop the car off. An employee called Gary was so rude and disrespectful I couldn’t actually believe what I was hearing. Do not use this place it’s more expensive then my local bmw dealer

Firstly to all potential users of this cowboy company, don't use them. They have allegedly just carried out a full service on my Audi 2019 plate. In total paid £325 for a full service, engine flush, brake fluid change......allegedly. collected my car at 0915, returned it at 1135 all the fire mentioned work and travel to and from my home in 2hours. No paperwork or invoice for the work allegedly carried out. I took a photo of the oil level before it left for them to work on, the oi level is exactly the same on the car when it was returned. The only customer care is when they want paying for.the alleged work. I have tried calling to discuss the alleged work and where the paperwork is but guess what no one is available to return my calls. Bottom line, avoid at all costs they should be closed down

Don't get sucked in by the cheap quote! You'll end up paying hundreds more and you won't even know what for... Their 'customer service' is a joke They bill you for totally unnecessary work that they claim is essential Their prices are ridiculous... £85 to top up coolant... Only sent an itemised bill once I'd paid as they won't 'release' your car until you've paid Car was meant to be returned between 4.00 and 6.00 - returned a day late with no explanation why The delivery driver told me he encounters angry and upset customers everyday The garage didn't even bother to stamp my service book Do not use this company

If I could give zero I would. The garage had a full service to do and brakes then added the usual rip off of engine flush etc Got the car back and another warning came on ! which they have caused but say it wasnt on and without looking have said it will be £170 plus to fix. no one at servicing stop has responded and you make it impossible to talk to anyone about issues

Avoid at all costs I never left a review before I was totally ripped off. Paid a lot to have my brake fluid changed and never happened. If you do use these don’t ask for this service as it will leave you angry when it’s not done. They use independent local garages to do your work so their standards may not be the same as sstop maybe just maybe that’s what the problem is but this is not cheap.
