“Will never use this company again, stay well clear of them. Took my car for service and MOT, then heard nothing all day. When I called them at 5 pm I was told I would not get my car back on the day, as agreed, unless I paid an extra £475 for a supposed oil leak then I could get the car the day after. I asked for my car back and said there was nothing they could do as the garage was already closed. Had to miss work because of no car. When I declined to pay the extra to have the alleged work needed carried out they became rude on the phone. It took me 3 angry phone calls to get my car back. Dodgy and scammers, keep away from this company if you want to save yourself unnecessary stress and money.”

“AVOID!!! I would give -10 stars! I am deeply frustrated with the service I received regarding the repair of my vehicle. After being promised repeatedly that my car would be ready, I found myself waiting yet again, causing significant disruption to myself and family life. This miscommunication not only wasted my valuable time, but also left my family waiting for my return home. Over the past six weeks, I have been given inconsistent updates. Initially, I was assured that the car would be ready by the end of the week, but when Friday arrived, I was told it would not be ready until Monday or Tuesday. This lack of transparency and failure to meet deadlines has been incredibly frustrating. If I had been informed from the start that the repair would take 5-6 weeks, my expectations and plans would have been entirely different. I prepaid £3600 for the repairs with the expectation of a timely service. Instead, the delay has cost me an additional £3500 in rental expenses due to the ongoing inconvenience of not having my car. The impact of this situation has gone beyond financial loss, over 10k; it has affected my personal life and the well-being of my family. Overall, this experience has been disappointing and stressful. I hope that in the future people wil take a note from my experience and will AVOID their services, as this situation has been unacceptable.”

“Rip of, tried to call me and say i needed 350 of work which i declined, charged me 30 for oil, the lad that dropped my car off, said the oil was included in price and they have charged me. Do not use”

“They tried to tell me I had to pay another £180 after the service for work that must be. When I called the actual garage I was told only needed oil change £20. Rip off merchants”

“AVOID AVOID AVOID. They took my car to a garage MILESSS from my address, then thought my car had been returned to me, it in fact hadn't, destroying trust I had in the company. My car arrived back to me, days later with no notice, no communication. My car subsequently broke down the following day. After researching where work was done on my car, they took it to a garage with the worst google reviews I have ever seen. Servicing stop are now uncontactable via phone, and after agreeing to pay for repairs on my car not reachable by email either. Leaving me without a car for over a month!”

“Absolutely bad experience with servicing stop. They didn’t give my car on time, they don’t respond my calls or emails. They deliver my car next day but the driver leave my car at parking lot and didn’t inform me. Very disappointing service from the company. Guys, Please don’t take any further service from this company.”

“After spending my life money, I received nothing in return despite their assurance of a guaranteed return. At first glance, they were genuine, but it was all a fraud. I strongly advise folks to avoid terrible platforms and avoid taking the same risk with their hard-earned money as I did. Inform f-x-h-e-l-p-2 (@) g ma i l. c o m about scams.”

“Unfortunately, the person I spoke to on the phone from servicing stop Didn’t tell me the truth and told me that the garage recommended a lot of work what didn’t need to be done. They also told me that they could only get BMW parts and that’s why they were so expensive. But Japanese imports were put on my car and not original BMW parts they charge three times the price that the garage would’ve charged. Unfortunately this will not let me upload the photos to prove how much they charged me. It was over £1000 for an MOT and service. Also I have proof that the parts were Japanese imports as the boxes were left in my car. I have no issues with the garage itself, But I believe hundreds of customers are getting lied to over the phone by sales people at servicing stop And it is my personal opinion that government body should be looking into this company and thinking why they should be able to charge people this amount of money for work what shouldn’t have been done to their cars and I think they should be paid to refund people for overcharging them.”

“Exactly the same as so many other reviews. Booked in my car for a service & mot which is a low mileage, fish Audi. An hour or so later received the phone call saying car needed £800+ additional work. Instructed them to stop all work immediately & return car. Was told they couldn’t do that because they had started an engine flush because they didn’t know if the vehicle had only been used for short journeys (I know sounds unbelievable but true) long story short none of the work they quoted was necessary”

“I am total disgusted with this company company, within two hours of having my car taken to a garage that had gone in for a service £83 and MOT £25 I was then told it failed to pass the MOT and needed replacement parts this then total £1545 I was told My car could not be driven as the MOT failed and the jobs needed going and would be returned that day, but at 4.30 I got a call the car needed a back reflector & bulb another £175 this part needed ordering so it would be returned the following day. I went to see the garage didn’t say who I was and asked for a price for the work I had done. I was quoted about £800 the lads that work there then took a bit of a bashing from me and explained they are ruled by the company service Stop and have no contact with the client once the car has been received I told them I’d paid £1545 and that they were getting less money than I had paid and the big bugs in London were getting more than the garage that did the job. This is disgraceful and unacceptable. I will never use them or recommend them but I will tell of my experience with Service stop”

“They promised a guaranteed return on my investment but after investing my life savings, I got nothing in return. They seemed legitimate at first, but it was all a scam. “Their "Full" service consists of oil and filter change only, in contrast to reputable garages. ANYTHING additional will cost an arm and a leg (+possibly a kidney!). When they have your car you will receive an intimidating phone call claiming you need VERY expensive additional work. This will be a SCAM and absolute nonsense. They will seek to persuade you that you won't be able to collect your car unless the "extra work is done. With their additional charges (check their small print) you will pay MORE than your local garages. ABSOLUTE SCAM and shame on the garages that get work through "Servicing Stop" because they know of the scams.”

“I had my car MOT'd by a respected local garage, but they were unable to do a service as they were fully booked. The car passed the MOT with no advisories - a clean bill of health. Since a service was still due, I foolishly booked it with Servicing stop. They collected the car as expected and called me back after an hour or so to let me know that various things needed doing and quoted £828 to carry them out - I told them to cease the service and return my car. The things they quoted were spurious and not required at all - this was confirmed by another garage. These a a bunch of con merchants who will scam whatever money they can from you. They need to be investigated, exposed and closed down.”

“Booked in for a service and mot was informed failed mot and it would be £1100 to fix. Was told all lies and car could not be returned due to mot failure, failed only on brake pads, which from another garage quoted £135 really bad con artists steer well clear of these crooks”

“Should have read the reviews before booking. Way overpriced for the jobs they were quoting. Trying to charge nearly £2000 for a few jobs that would cost £400 max. Trying to sell magic oil - no chance. Only calls you when convenient, yet when you try and call them, they hang up constantly. They don’t hand the car back the same day as advertised, causing stress and to miss appointments. When declined their “extras”, their tone changed completely which confirmed to me to not go with them. The man who handed my car back to me the next day confirmed they were charging 3x as much. Sounds like a bunch of scamming cowboys. Would be staying clear from them in future - writing this to warn others of their foul play and false advertising. They need looking into, I’m not sure how they’ve managed to scam so many people, I scrolled through pages and pages of 1* reviews. Please do not fall for these money grabbers - no matter how convenient they sound!”

“Booked a full service and an MOT at £165 which sounded reasonable. Received a phone call advising me of additional work required, most not MOT related which came to over £1300. Took out a no interest loan to pay 5 months @ £198 per month. Looked again at the invoice and questioned the charges and and told to provide quotes from a user approved garage as they do a price match guarantee. Obtained like for like quotes for 4 of the jobs they had undertaken and have received over £500 refund including £169 + VAT charged for an engine flush, quote for £40 inclusive received from approved garage. As a result my monthly payments have gone down to £103 a month. Needless to say, I will not be using their services again.”
