“Order was not dispatched as promised. When I chased the order up, I was told they would phone back with details. No such phone call, but I later received an email (nearly missed it) informing me the the computer would be with me the next day (2 days late.) Order canceled as this order was critical for a job. Will not be using ServersPlus again.”

“I am a home user and my old computer suffered a major failure and was beyond repair. I normally build machines myself however I did not require any kind of specialised machine with a lots of GPU power, just one with a bit of CPU "grunt". I wanted to replace the machine quickly and started shopping about for parts. I then remembered browsing through ServersPlus site (where I ALWAYS get mini servers from) and seeing that they had a pre-built Intel i7 Kaby Lake "business system". I checked and saw that it was slightly less than the price it would have cost me for the parts. Parts that would have been from different suppliers and spread over several deliveries. I ordered it on a Friday and had it early Monday afternoon. If my machine had blown up earlier in the week I would have had it next day. DPD delivered it so I had a one-hour delivery time slot rather than having to wait in all day. The machine was tidily put together and worked fine apart from the chassis fan which had been plugged in incorrectly (it was not broken). Installing Windows 7 was awkward as the new CPU architecture means you have no USB keyboard or mouse when installing and have to set PS/2 emulation in the "BIOS". Then when it IS installed and AFTER it has downloaded and installed 186 updates, Windows 7 bitches that windows update will not support the new CPU with the older OS (forgot about that). Not ServersPlus fault though, just Microsoft finding another way to push Win10. I decided to give in to the inevitable and Win10 was used. It installed quickly and easily. I am very happy with the machine. It is a no-frills, compact piece of equipment at a reasonable price with fast and free delivery. When I replace my other aging computer I will give the ServersPlus site a check first. In summary, unless you require something a bit specialised, ServersPlus will build you the computer you would likely have built yourself for less that it would have cost you to buy the bits and without the hassle of fitting it all neatly into a case.”
