“Every time I have an appointment at Dorchester Scrivens, the customer service is second to none. Starting with a friendly welcome from the very efficient staff, the professional care throughout my visit is superb. All my queries are addressed and I feel confident that I am receiving the right plan of action and that follow-up and support will be excellent.”

“Had a follow up appointment today with optician Robert King. He was very thorough and looked into some vision issues I was having. I'm quite happy to know that no further intervention is needed. Mr King is very knowledgeable and put me at ease and answered all my questions. Would recommend. the appointment reminders are helpful too.”

“Had an appointment this morning was seen promptly optician explained all the stages very polite proffessional lady definitely recommend her. Sam was so good it was truly a pleasure to be given an appointment with all the staff well done Jo .”

“Visited the Palmers Green branch with my 94 year old Mum for long overdue hearing care no longer provided by the audiology department at Chase Farm Hospital. Mum is almost blind, quite deaf and a bit confused, but the audiologist was perfect. She summed up the situation very quickly and was so kind and caring as well as efficient. The 'front of house' staff were very pleasant, too - all the stress taken out of a potentially stressful occasion.”

“Excellent customer service from Sutton Coldfield branch. Had an eye test and follow up appointment to trial contact lenses. I have never liked getting glasses but all of the staff were warm and welcoming especially Melanie who helped me pick the right lenses for my glasses and sunglasses. My follow up appointment was with Vanda and Sophie who both made me feel at ease trying contact lenses. I would definitely recommend the Sutton Coldfield branch, I used to use another branch but never felt I was offered a good service.”

“Popped into your Tewkesbury shop recently to book my over due sight test after multiple attempts of calling. Why don't they answer their phone anymore? Took three attempts to book instore also. First attempt shop closed on Mondays! This information is not on your website! It clearly shows open Mondays 9am - 5pm! Very very annoying! Second attempt Aboard outside the shop, no lights on, no sign on the door to say closed but the door was locked at 2.30pm! Walked back past at 3pm noticed shop now open. I had clearly stumbled across an unscheduled break! I didn't feel the young lady was very apologetic or sincere when I pointed out to her how difficult it had been to book in. Decided to cancel my appointment in the end, as I just did not feel particularly welcome and was not happy with the difficulty I experienced trying to book my appointment. I need to contact you about getting my records transferred elsewhere now.”

“I was referred to Scrivens by my GP as they had a clinic in the surgery. In the end, this was not possible and I had to go into the local branch instead. The consultation was fine and I was supplied with new aids which were an improvement on my old ones. However, when I needed a follow up, the problems started. First, the branch did not have an audiologist. I was advised I would be informed when one was found. This never happened. Eventually I got so frustrated that I complained at the surgery. An appointment was made for me, but was cancelled by Scrivens at very short notice. Since then, 3 more appointments have been made and all cancelled the day before. Unfortunately, as an NHS patient, I am tied to Scrivens for 5 years. Looks like they are happy to take the cash. But not provide the service.”

“I had a consultation with Jane at Sandy Lane Surgery Leyland, very good service, explained everything at each stage. My hearing test was better than the previous ones I have had which were private, would recommend this service, came home with new hearing aids so hearing excellent.”

“Moved recently to Newquay Cornwall from north wales and my hearing aids where not working unable to mix socially Dr. suggested Scrivens to me who also work closely with NHS I must say were wonderfully helpful to me sorted me out immediately am now getting out and about and mixing more so good have also used them for my new spectacles”

“If I could give 10 stars to Kevin and the whole team from the Feltham branch I would. The care and kindness Kevin has shown my elderly mum through her journey of getting hearing aids has been outstanding. The process has taken a while due to my mum's complex issues, but she's been given excellent guidance all the way through. He has left us feeling that we started the process as strangers but finished with a very special friend. Can't sing the praises of the Feltham branch enough, just brilliant”
