“Friendly service, efficient eye & hearing tests and wise advice. We didn’t feel under pressure to make a purchase. My wife’s prescription was attended completely, unfortunately the particular frames I desired were not available.”

“I actually went to the local branch as I always do, this time for a repair to a pair of glasses that you sold me, but alas the matter has not been resolved not for the want of trying be both me and your staff.”

“Lost hearing aid. Phoned and told replacement would be posted. I paid but queried if it would be set to my prescription. Then told it would not be mailed as I'd need an appointment. None available at any clinic in the area for a month. The staff member was clearly inadequately trained.”

“Very friendly opticians , I wasn’t rushed and really felt the optician had given my eyes a proper examination Good choice of glasses I ended up with extremely cheap ones which were a fraction of the price of the designer ones but suited me far more absolutely no hard sell”

“Branch of Birmingham at 41 Corporation St, Birmingham B2 4LS is rubbish. Change appointment from time to time but no notice inform me of cancellation. Waste my time, my daughter has eye checking over three weeks, promise 10 days to pick it, over three weeks now. No one contact me. After I urge for it, confirm me to come on 9 Sept. 8 Sept, I call it again but replied that no appointment made for me. How crazy is this branch!”

“Received a letter advising me to book in for annual check, which I delay for a couple of weeks while I fix an appointment for ears to be syringed (at not inconsiderable expense). I receive a hastener and telephone the same day to fix the appointment only to be advised they don't have any and are fully booked and they'll phone and let me know when they have one. When I ask how long they estimate that will be, I am advised about November (at least two months hence). Not impressed - a case of central office sending out letters without checking availability with their operatives?”

“I had my hearing test at Ashton in makerfield branch the female audiologist was brilliant it took about an hour to complete the test she was very thorough and precise I returned 2 days later for fitting and adjustments / again excellent service the hearing aids have made a huge difference to my hearing. thank you Oh and they are easily turned off when required 😉. Allan”

“My elderly mother (who is profoundly death in one ear and poor hearing in the other) had an appointment today, your team called and cancelled last minute, she couldnt hear or understand the message, and when we turned up at the appointment we were told the room was hired and no contact details at all. I took the day off work and we cant get through to anyone on the phone- terrible service!”

“I would like to give top marks to Scrivens/Greenslades in Weston super mare, to all the staff, but in particular to Connor and Aiden, for the kindness, professionalism and courtesy shown to myself and my wife during our recent visits for eye tests and new glasses. Absolute credit to the company.”
