Had an eye test at Horsforth this morning 29th Oct. All went well. The staff were very efficient, helpful and caring. Also left my Hearing Aid there for servicing. Very convenient

I had an aftercare hearing appt. today with Afnae at the Banbury branch who I found very efficient and helpful. I was not rushed and every question I had was answered. Well done Scrivens....and Afnae of course!

On 19th October 2022, I experienced very rude , authoritative and bossy attitude of all ladies at the reception. I don't know why? Those were different persons. Normally reception staff over there is good. But this was a very bad day for me over there.

Issued with hearings aids from Scrivens via GP surgery. Not happy with fit, made appointment but this was cancelled by Scrivens. Rescheduled... Scrivens cancelled again at short notice. Rescheduled by Scrivens for 1.30pm today. I attended 20minutes before appointment time. I then waited and waited, asked politely if I had been forgotten and was told no the audiologist would come to get me. Unfortunately at 2.45pm I was still waiting and could not and should not have to wait that amount of time. Will therefore go to another Hearing Centre and hope for better treatment.

Jacqueline in your Witney, Oxon branch went over an above trying to help me & my elderly father resolve an issue. She was extremely helpful, and did everything she could to get everything sorted, even offering to assist us out of her working hours. She is a real asset to your company.

Had new glasses from the North Walsham branch October 2021, after numerous visits over weeks they told us that neither my or my wife's glasses could be made to fit comfortably so we would have to claim on the insurance and get replacements (paying the excess). Only after escalating to head office did we manage to get an appointment with a properly trained (visiting) optician who managed to make them comfortable in one visit. We will not be going back.

At New Milton branch Justin then Hannah made me very welcome. Hannah was very professional with my hearing test, keen to show how the ears are performing hearing -wise comparing the teat results to my last visit 3 years ago. Nothing seemed to be any trouble and all my questions answered satisfactorily. Justin went through the latest NHS hearing aids, again very professional. Both of them very caring.

Felt uncomfortable in store being stared at constantly. New staff member trying on glasses in front of customers. The lady Forgot to change my address. The optician doing the eye tests was very good at putting me at ease. Stared at again constantly by the staff when looking at glasses and then the lady serving me started having a chin wag with her colleague and ignored me. Then didn't give me the correct form to go get glasses elsewhere so now I've gotta go back there. Note please delete previous review as this was somewhere else after this.

No smile. Didn't feel that welcome or heard. Problem with the voucher not there fault though. The thing that annoyed me is the lady said the anti glare was payable on the 2nd pair the receipt shows I paid for both on both pairs this could have been made clearer.

Thank you, Thank you ladies you saved my life on Saturday 22nd October. The lense fell out of my bifocal glasses on Friday night and left me in somewhat of a pickle unable to read, use my phone or watch TV! In desperation I went to their shop in person, and although Not my usual optician, who by the way could not help, they mended my glasses within 15 mins without any fuss and because of this kind service they will soon be my Optician of choice. So thank you again and I will see you very soon to order a new 2nd pair of glasses. Regards.

Had my eyes checked at home last year and the year before so is it possible to have them done at home this year please thanking you all for a great service in store and at home pleas let me know if and what date and date you can do them please Gina Stevenson I am back in Newark and so happydident like collingham after I had my stroke and mental breakdown so moving here has helped me so much

The Audiologists did not know that my aids were private-Scrivens and NOT NHS. I feel that they only tested for NHS and not the full works and did not attempt to update my current aids, only the moulds and batteries. Sorry Bakers Arms centre.

I had my hearing test yesterday at Mill hill branch and the audiologist told me that you have sharp hearing loss in right ear and you need to see your GP urgently. He asked me that take the report and give it to your GP. Then he suddenly decide to post that letter to GP. Today I contacted my GP and they asked me for that report. When I contact scrivens to send me report they told me that it will take 10 working days. How can it be 10 working days if its urgent. I told then to send me the email so I can pass it to my GP and make the referral to consultant. The person Mr. nathan told me that it will take 10 working days for email as well. So poor people rely on post in this electronic era. Below they asking email address for verification.

Unfortunately and regretfully, Scrivdns Bakers arms, staff is very impolite, Refuse to hand over prescription after vision/sight test until get dilation test. Total black mailing. Please call me to listen full story. M iqbal 0791 220 6497 Thanks. Regards

Was told I was paying for three months contact lens supply,in fact I was paying for five months for three months supply. Beware none of this is mentioned in the contract or orally. Because I wasn't using them daily, I asked if I could just buy on a monthly basis told it wasn't possible. Paid for the first three months supply up front and it wasn't at any time I need to pay any extra.
