Visited Scrivens in Rugeley. The service from Stuart and Louise was outstanding. Very professional, pleasant and informative. I actually enjoyed the full experience and looking forward to hearing a lot more clearly. Thank you.

Really pleased with the care that is taken at Scrivens Alfreton when having a hearing test they are so thorough.Will always go to Scrivens for my hearing tests etc.

I had an eye test at Scrivens and ordered glasses online with the provided prescription. However, I couldn't adapt to the glasses and sought advice from Scrivens. Disappointingly, they refused to verify the prescription, insisting the issue was with the glasses, not the prescription. Seeking a second opinion at a national chain, I discovered the prescription was indeed incorrect. Subsequently, I purchased replacement glasses from the same online shop using the new prescription, I had a much more positive experience. Unfortunately, my original investment in the eye test and glasses from Scrivens proved to be a waste. I'll be steering clear of Scrivens in the future and opting for more reputable establishments.

I have suffered with poor hearing and tinnitus for years and have tried various different devices. A friend recommended I visit Amanda, the audiologist at the Haywards Heath branch. She was so helpful throughout the whole process and the solution provided has literally changed my life. Social situations were becoming unbearable with not being able to hear or contribute to the conversation. I have my social life back. After care has been fantastic too. Thanks!

Hearing aids fitting appointment this a.m. at Norwich St.Giles branch. From the first point of contact my experience has been excellent. Friendly,professional and engaged staff with nothing too much trouble. Patiently providing expert assistance. Reception staff helpful with early appointment to see Audiologist Hannah King who dispensed assessment and advice towards a remedial outcome of a high standard. Many thanks.

My father is completely deaf without a hearing aid, he is 89 and has dementia. We can only communicate with whiteboard and pen. How long is it appropriate for him to wait for his hearing aid from Scrivens, up to now it has been 5 months

I had my 1st hearing aids fitted by Hannah at Lymington this week. She was professional and helpful. The aftercare team spent time with me explaining how to look after my hearing aids and they quickly link my phone to my aids. Everyone has been excellent in my opinion. So helpful.

Had an eye test end Nov 2023. Very helpful reception and went into eye test on time. The optician was extremely good, and friendly. Certainly very professional and in my opinion was best optician I’ve seen for quite a while. Would certainly recommend these (Totton) folks.

Excellent service from Scrivens when I visited my N.H.S. surgery Barbourne Worcester. The gentleman I saw was very adept at explaining and was very helpful and the and the hearing aids supplied were very good. Thank you.

Please don't be cheated, i checked my eye power there, they gave me some other power glass. After that I cant see long or short. I visit them 6 times. Poor customer care. WASTE OF MONEY & TIME. Stone

My wife purchased a pair of spectacles from Scrivens upon collection she found they were not suitable. The second appointment to review the spectacles was made and conducted the Optition concluded the spectacle were not suitable. Having paid in advance, one would expect to be refunded , yet four months later, after having provided evidence that they were not required. You have yet to refund the money I would recommend nobody ever conducts business with your establishment.

Collected new spectacles today and was greeted with a smile as usual from Akta. I have known Akta for many years and always feel that the service she delivers is personal. Akta is helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. An asset and credit to Scrivens. Sue

I have found that the tubes tend to flatten and I have problems hearing. I cannot adjust the volume on them

early days for my hearing aids, still testing different environmental results hopefully will soon go back to discuss any issues with my scrivener team. Cannot fault the service and care shown to me & my wife who incidentally ended up not needing hearing aids 100% recommend this organisation.

I HAVE HAD MY HEARING AIDS FOR ABOUT 12 MONTHS AND I HAVE JUST FILLED IN MY QUESTIONNAIRE, BUT THERE WAS NOWHERE FOR COMMENTS. PERHAPS I CAN USE THIS REVIEW FOR A COMMENT. THE THING IS THEY ARE VERY GOOD APART FROM ONE THING, THE TUBE THAT GO FROM THE EAR PIECE TO THE MAIN PART BEHIND THE EAR GOES FLAT AND THIS IMPAIRS THE VOLUME SO I HAVE TO KEEP ADJUSTING THE VOLUME THEN I GET HIGH PITCH WHISTLES , WHEN I AM IN COMPANY IT IS VERY EMBARRASSING. APART FROM THAT THEY ARE VERY GOOD.
