“Please avoid this company, I'm shocked at their mis-selling practices. My mum has been mis-sold expensive hearing aids when there were cheaper alternatives available that ACTUALLY suited her needs. She is left with a pair of expensive useless hearing aids (at a cost of £3500) which are not fit for purpose, Scrivens suggestion is buy another new pair from them . Please save yourself a lot of money and wasted time and use a reliable, honest and trustworthy company.”

“As usual, excellent care from the team at Chesterfield Scrivens. Contact lens check and eye test. Ordered new reading glasses on the Thursday, was delighted on Monday morning to get a text saying they were ready. And with my voucher which is included in contact lens plan they only cost me a few pounds. Happy Customer.”

“Ely Branch!! I’ve had enough with coming back and forth to get the correct glasses. I’ve had 2 eye tests plus was asked to come for a re check as there’s always mistakes being made, it’s just ridiculous. The opticians are always running late ( all 3 occasions), you’ve messed me up so many times and still 20 mins late on 3rd appointment! The European lady was lovely and very apologetic, the other blonde English lady was on the phone chatting and gossiping for the whole 20 mins I was sitting waiting for my appointment ( same lady that made many mistakes on my order ) how unprofessional! I’ll be going elsewhere.”

“Impossible to get an appointment .Have waited weeks and weeks and was told I would be put on high priority list but still no appointment available and when I asked what am I supposed to do I was told to wait. No a very positive response. Asked to speak to a manager told one not available.I need an appointment because I have had to attend hospital on 2 occasions because ear buds became lodged in ear canal. In my case your Core focus seems to have failed. I feel abandoned.”

“The person i had for test was excellent as usual.. The front desk people you see now not so. As a regular customer and my glasses case didnt close properly asked for a new one to be told i would have to pay £3 to which i said definitely not. Then a bit later in the conversation was told i will give you one and not charge. Was given a choice of 4 flowery cases very puzzled as i wanted a good Scrivens case not those or the just flimsy plastic Scrivens cases. Never had this before but have new staff. Other people i know will not go back there again. I will see what response i get when picking up my glasses. Always been very satisfied there before. Prices and choice of glasses not the same there anymore.”

“I just want to say a big thank you to the Team at Ely branch. All 3 ladies were wonderful, they were all busy but made sure every person was looked after! Amazing customer service from them all trying to help me choose the right frame ( I felt quite special ) not pushed or rushed, Great customer service and I always leave with a smile! Thank you ladies and merry Christmas to you all!”

“For years I've stuck to the same options for years but this year they closed .so I thought look and see what reviews other local options had been given I chose scrivens hunslet branch.rewiews weren't wrong these people deal with you as a person the staff were all friendly and professional.on all our visits the previous options did us a favour closing.ive recommended this branch to all our residents.”
