“supported my sister with her eye care after having cataract removed. now had vision test and advice given with her needs for glasses. my sister very happy with her new glasses.”

“I went to the Ely branch for my eye test and glasses. All of the staff at the front were brilliant, happy to help and a good laugh too. The optician was lovely, I think her name was Ellie. This branch is an absolute credit to you, thank you ladies”

“I got my eye test done here and the same day i got another eye test done at another practice where i was given a totally different prescription!”

“Customer service at the St Giles Street branch in Norwich was excellent. Especially Shaun who was friendly, thorough and professional. Also credit to the young lady in the branch who answered the phone when I enquired about collecting my new glasses. She was very chatty and friendly, and also professional and efficient. The branch is smaller compared to some of the larger national chains, but this creates a more relaxed, calm and personal environment. All the staff in the branch seem to work extremely well as a team and provide an excellent service which is both friendly and knowledgeable.”

“Very pleased with my glasses after I changed my mind on frames twice. Manager at Norwich branch, Kevin very decent. Glasses are the top range, and they are superb.”

“Great help from Nina at Clifton Scrivens who adjusted my glasses to cope with having one cataract removed whilst still waiting for the other. I will certainly return there for new glasses once both eyes done. Very relaxed and friendly ambience.”

“On arrival I was greeted with warmth and excellent customer service from the staff the moment I stepped into Scrivens, Halesowen. I would like to give a big thanks to all the informative, professional and friendly staff which seemed to work tirelessly on the front line to look after customers like me and provide support and eye care to ensure I find the correct frames to suit my prescription (varifocals). I look forward to receiving my new glasses. Thank you for providing a superlative service.”

“I booked an appointment for a hearing test at the Park Place Darlington branch and the booking went smoothly. However, I get to the GP practise it's based in. And I sit there for 1 ½ hours before I just left because I had another appointment to get to. The reception at the GP had no communication with the scrivens there, despite them having a room there, so I had no idea what was happening. I can understand delays happen, maybe half an hour if you're unlucky but never have I had to wait 90 minutes after the appointment for no one to come. I'd not recommend you go to this branch to get a hearing test at all. Complete waste of time and stressful.”

“Well, I turned up at my local Scrivens today at 10:20 for a 10:30 hearing test having booked it a month previous only to be told they had no record of my appointment ! I had to show them my appointment card for them to realise the mistake was not mine . It turns out that someone else had been given my appointment for a earwax removal . I was not impressed to say the least. Their excuse was that they had had a computer glitch which must have wiped my appointment from their system , well that is too convenient , they did offer an appointment for the next day in another Scrivens 15 minutes away ? I said no thanks . Very disappointed to find a a paying customer for an earwax removal was more important than an NHS hearing test etc.”
