“WOULDEN'D GO THERE AGAIN EVEN IF YOU GAVE THE FRAMES FOR FREE. Had my specs six months and the screws fell out. My lenses are no good and I was told if I want them replaced I would have to pay for them again. No chance !!! Waste of money.”

“Attention. Just a reminder be very careful if considering hearing Aids or Glasses from Scrivens, make sure you check there returns policy very carefully, had the worst Customer service I've had anywhere. Merry Christmas scrivens NOT. beware beware beware look before buying.”

“I had my Hearing AID fitted about 6 months ago in Beeston, Leeds and received excellent Service. However, Just rang the local branch for a copy of my test certificate and received no help what so ever. Told to contact Head office”

“I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to do so after receiving outstanding help from the Tilehurst branch. I contacted the branch to arrange an eye appointment after experiencing problems with the vision in my right eye. After a brief discussion on the phone about booking an eye test and the problems I had with my vision the optometrist called me back after overhearing some of the conversation. She went through my symptoms with me and said that I should proceed to eye casualty straight away as I may have a retinal tear. She explained where to go, what they would do and that it was possible they could treat it that day. I attended eye casualty who confirmed what I had been told and I also received the treatment the optometrist had described. To say I am grateful is an understatement but my wife and I will be going to this branch of Scrivens for our next glasses.”

“I have visited several times in the last 18 months and I have always been satisfied, and satisfied plus, with my examinations and helpfulness, and of course the hearing aid service is completely free.”

“I took my own new designer frames to have Lenses put in them. Great service but when I went to collect, the inside of the lid was ripped down, the case was all marked and dirty and the cloth was dirty too. Been going here for years but considering elsewhere as I paid a lot of money for my glasses”

“I had a hearing test today and was very impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of the process. I was also very happy with the friendly and welcoming nature of all of the staff in the Sheldon, Birmingham branch. As well as hearing matters, I will definitely consider going back there for my next eye test and for new glasses.”

“I have been asked to fill in this questionnaire re my National Health hearing Aids. I have some but I never wear them (or only in emergency) as I have private ones which I paid a lot of money for. I have a 5 star rating for the service I get from Scrivens. This questionnaire is not designed to say you do not wear your NHS ones because you have an alternative. It makes it sound as if I just don't wear them ay all.”

“Their test was very thorough and carried out in an unhurried & professional manner. I have had my glasses for two weeks now and my sight is better than it has been for a long time. All the staff members that dealt with me at the Ringwood branch were friendly efficient and professional. I would have no hesitation to use them again, and I would happily recommend them to friends and family.”

“Our local office is in Beeston Leeds .. only one disappointment in the past when they refused to give me cleaning wires - I went to an office in Morrisons Leeds Hunslet area they willingly gave me two.”

“Visited the Shirley branch in Southampton and found the service to be excellent. From my sight and hearing test with the Optician to recieving my glasses all very professional. I would like to thank David the manager was being so patient and kind, super customer service.”
