“I went to the Abingdon branch to get help with the wax filter. The staff there were excellent. the gentleman not only helped me with my filter, but listened to my problem. did a hearing test refered me to an audiologist, who I saw yesterday. He was excellent diagnosed my problem and gave me good advice. All the staff at this branch were very helpful. thank you”

“Went to the Thorpe St Andrews Opticians, unprofessional approach. Not helpful, unkind to my elderly mum. This was a very distressing experience. My mum has been a customer for thirty years, this will be our last visit.”

“I go to the Orchard Square branch and the staff are brilliant, the optician Lesley Heywood is always friendly,courteous and most importantly very knowledgeable,she asks any question you have with extreme professionalism and is always helpful. I would not go anywhere else while ever she is there( the branch is in Sheffield)”

“I visited my local Scrivens opticians today (6th February) in Pocklington. I wanted to congratulate you for the quality of staff you have in the Pocklington branch .They are first rate and 5* service. Their help, kindness and understanding was wonderful nothing was to much trouble. I felt I should make you aware of what excellent staff you have in Pocklington.”

“The in store service was very good, all staff polite and helpful. the problem I've had is trying to get a copy of my prescription. I contacted you on the 24/10/22 about a copy of my prescription, I had a phone call mid November and was told you can't email it as "its a security risk!!", so was agreed to be sent by post. I contacted on the 7/12/22 that nothing had arrived to which I've had no reoly todate. It is now 06/02/23 coming upto 4 months to get a copy of my prescritpion, absoloutly astonishing!!!!!”

“Meire is an amazing person! She works at Harrow Road store. She helped through the process (book the eye test, after it explaining everything about the lenses and the frame, etc). I had a very good experience with her.”

“I had an recent eye test at Scrivens. I wanted to support a local business rather than go to the more well known high street opticians. I will certainly be returning there. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I did not need to wait to be seen. The optician gave a thorough assessment of my eyes and took time to explain things to me. I was not over-sold any glasses and left with my prescription which I can use in any opticians. I would certainly recommend Scrivens over the busier rivals for a more personal experience”
