“Awful customer service.ordered 2 schoffel ptarmigan jackets for myself and colleague first wear in the wet they leaked on the elbows. Both elbows both arms ,I sent them back and schoffel.implied I had made puncture holes that's why they leaked.will not give me a refund or replace or anything.discussing.do not buy these faulty jackets”

“The quality of the coat is superb and the delivery can't be faulted. The only thing that stopped my giving 5 stars is the sizing. I was advised to buy a size larger. I'm a 14 so I ordered a 16 which was too 'snug'. I now have an size 18 which is a perfect fit and I love the coat. However I'm now £11 down because of the return postage. Surely I can't be the only customer with problems on the sizes?”

“Brilliant service as my son gave me the wrong size and I just rang and spoke to a very kind lady and explained I had ordered the wrong size and she changed it for me. Correct size delivered”

“You continually keep sending me emails for Mrs Christine Saunders. I emailed you on Thurs pointing this out. I also received delivery text as well. This is clearly a breach of consumer data/ the data protection act, of which I strongly suggest your company takes a look at its management of such private information, and provides the staff with adequate training to operate the computer system.”

“My husband has been looking for ages for a lightweight jacket which is windproof and waterproof and which he can wear in town and over a jacket. He has been constantly disappointed. He has always loved your shooting gear which he describes as perfect for the job. I signed up to your site and just kept looking. When you brought out this jacket I knew it was the one. It's a Christmas present but he has tried it on and it is perfect. Your quality has always been excellent and I love your attention to detail. I'm not a label person but you even used the same colour silk to put your label on the lining which I can certainly live with. So I know there will be one gift under the tree that will bring great pleasure.”

“I ordered a fleece which arrived promptly. The garment is nicely designed and practical. However, the range of colours was virtually non-existent: the only one in stock was navy and as I wanted to buy the fleece as a Christmas present and as there was no indication of when fresh stock might be available, I compromised by ordering the navy. When it arrived I thought the quality of the material was ordinary for something priced so highly. Overall a slightly disappointing experience!”

“I have owned the Schoffel women's super light ghillie coat in Hunter Green for around 25 years, having purchased it in the U.K. when I lived there in my early 20s. It is one of the best clothing investments that I've made and has served me very well for all these years, although in more recent years I've worn it closer to home and barn because the sleeves were frayed and it had begun to show its age. Imagine my delight when I found an updated version of the self-same coat on the Outdoor and Country website, in my size and in Navy, which is nice to be able to switch up the color. These coats are exquisitely well made, durable and stylish. I've ordered and returned dozens of coats trying to find one like it, all in vain. Now I've ordered the fleece gillet from the Schoffel website and am eagerly awaiting its arrival, for it's certain to uphold the high standards of the coat!”
