“This is my fourth Schoffel jacket so obviously a fan. I especially like this 'odd' colour so this is the second one, mainly because I accidentally left the lining on the train and am still trying to get it back; didn't want to lose the versatility of this jacket in winter so now have a spare. One question/complaint: Why have you made them out of the nylon-y material instead of the very robust cotton-ish material used previously? Despite being ultra careful (I'm very old!) the material 'bobbles' and the mechanical 'shaver' I have doesn't get them all off (the ones in awkward places). On a wet trip to Edinburgh the material was barely waterproof and I ended up soaked through twice; not sure the same would have happened on my previous Schoffel jackets (don't like 'wax' jackets). Otherwise love everything about them and will continue to purchase. Your thoughts? Thank you.”

Hi, Thank you for getting in touch - I am sorry to hear you are not completely satisfied with your Uppingham 3-in-1 Coat. This garment is made using our Venturi 2 layer laminate and so should be 100% waterproof. We would like to take a look into this for you under the cover of our warranty.
