“Product very good, but packaging very tatty so disappointed as this is for a Christmas present. Have brought before which came in a nice brand box :(”

“Product excellent as always but a miracle either order arrived. The first box was completely in bits and the second box all the sticky adhesive circles used to secure it were open. Better packaging please as these are clearly roughly handled by the courier.”

“Disappointing on sizing given the normal range that you have. There is no size chart and so had to guess. Return efficiency though”

“I have 6 gilets but the last one bought 2/3months ago is not the usual quality lightweight material the zip does not stay in place.I assume they have changed suppliers. Very disappointed.”

“I was disappointed at the quality of the rugby shirt having had Schoffel clothing so often for shooting gear. Very thin material for a so-called 'rugby shirt' - a more appropriate label would be 'cotton top.' Not exactly what I was expecting, however, fits well so is not worth returning. I shall be aware in future.”

“Woven leather belt. Good quality belt, but too big! Followed recommendation on website and order next size up. When belt on, the end of the belt nearly touched my left hip- too big. Have returned for a smaller size.”

“Good stuff, good fit, but a bit miffed that it’s all made in China. Yes, good clothes come out of China, and these are really good, but really, it doesn’t sit well with me to wear consumer goods manufactured in a state that has 80 odd crimes that carry the death penalty, a state who’s responsible for 99% of cyber attacks on Britain, and really has dubious stances on world peace, and who really are beating on British citizens for all intents and purposes, in Hong Kong. Look at the great outdoor brands, Danner for example, they’re bringing manufacturing back to the USA, it guarantees quality and consumer confidence.”

“Sadly, the gilet I ordered was a size too small. There next size up wasn't in stock, so I received a message that I was to be refunded. Bit disappointed really - I only wanted a size 14, so nothing unusual.”

“Really pleased with my recent purchase, but very disappointed with previous purchases of my cashmere and cotton jumpers. The stitching is falling apart on all jumpers particularly at the seams under the arms and where the roll neck is joined.”

“Ordered a Burley Fleece size 18, lovely Fleece but what a disappointment, the sizing was ridiculous, was much smaller than a size 14 that I already had in the same garment. Excellent customer service but won’t be purchasing again unless I can actually try it on first and avoid the hassle of having to return.”

“I have been buying Schoffel products for 10 years and always been very satisfied with them , good quality material , great cut , good sizing , however my recent purchases do not meet my expectation in quality cut or sizing . Buttons falling off after only several months having to order larger size despite me being physically smaller than I have been for 6 years …….”

“I had to return a Oakham gilet because it was too large, I requested a smaller size, unfortunately my size wasn’t in stock so they refunded my monies. Two days later I had an email advising that my size was now in stock, but now £10 more expensive, great product but not impressed by the way it was handled.”
