“Schoffel used to be premium clothing at premium prices and well worth paying the extra for top quality. However the new Oakham Gilets are not a patch on the older Polartec ones.”

“Product is very good. Very well made and high quality. The only poor thing is the packaging. A £60 cap stuffed into a plastic bag really spoils the customer experience. I'd rather pay more to have a nice bag and box to reflect the quality of the product.”

“Recently purchased the padded gillet, I've always been a size 14 so was surprised when I tried it on to find it was huge, it felt more like a size 16/18. It was promptly replaced with a size 12 which fits perfectly but the down side it cost me £8.80 to post which was the cheapest option”

“Purchased the shirt that was described as tailored so rightly or wrongly assumed it to be tailored fit. However these shirts are very loose fitting and the shirt had to be returned, fortunately the returns process was very easy and efficient”

“Good quality , but at what price? Shoffel ? Austrian , Swiss? Well , European surely ? So presumably the manufacture had been careful , with attention to details eg. good workers conditions? of looking after the environment? …… no idea . The item delivered had been made in China. I’m not suggesting there was anything wrong with it, but with the European name and a definite nod to European quality , oh ,and a price tag of £90, I’d assumed I was choosing something made in Europe, upholding European manufacturing standards not a garment shipped halfway across the world.”
