“When i receive an email on 30th Oct to say items have been dispatched and here I am on 13th Nov still without a delivery !! Enough said”

Hi David, Thank you for your review. Apologies for the delay in your order. I can see that you did order tantalised timber, of which there has been a national shortage of supply, due to the ongoing Covid situation. We did email you to advise they were out of stock and when they would arrive, and your order was delivered within a week of them arriving. I can see that the despatch email you received appears to be an error on the backend of our website. I apologise for any confusion that was caused by this. “Although classed as used the tubes sent were clean and looked nearly new. Nice and straight with no damage. Clips were new and conformed to British Standard. All in all an excellent purchase and well worth it. The only downside was the delivery courier DHL who for some reason had to deliver the small amount of scaffolding in two parts and had to be reminded to look on the van for the bag of clips.”

“Shipping costs extortionate, already shocked to pay £60+ delivery my order, then realised I need 1 more tee clamp. WHAT. 1x aluminium tee clamp. £18.50 delivery.”

Hi Mark, Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, we do not have our own fleet of vehicles. Therefore all orders must be shipped via a courier. On your order you have 3m tubes. Anything that is 3m or over is deemed “ugly freight” by the logistics industry, and all couriers charge a premium to ship them. We do our best to keep delivery charges as low as possible, and never hide them in the cost of the goods, unlike many of our competitors. If you had given us a call prior to placing the order, we may have been able to cut your tube down slightly, and greatly reduce your delivery charge. With regards to the single aluminium clamp, we do not hold these in stock, so they must be sent directly from the manufacturer. The manufacturer charge £18.50 for delivery regardless of the amount that are ordered, whether it be one clamp or one hundred. If you had ordered the galvanised clamps, your delivery charge would have been £7.45. “Ordered some galvanised stakes for mounting log roll border. Ordered over a weekend and they arrived eight working days later. I would have liked them quicker but website did state deliveries were slower due to Covid and it could be up to 10 working days before despatch so I accepted lead time. Very happy with quality of product and amazed at the price which was significantly cheaper than anything offered elsewhere. I would definitely use the company again.”

“I needed some acrow props and strongboys urgently for a job. I initially ordered from Strongboy as their pricing was competitive but after taking my order was told there was a severe delay to the order which annoyed me. I then contacted Scaffolding Direct who were great. They confirmed the stock was available expediated my order and the ordering process was smooth. Unfortunately when delivered one of the props had a machining fault which meant the pin was tight but Scaffolding Direct sorted this out immediately, supplying a new support and taking away the faulty one within days. I recommend this company 100%”
