“Purchased the Anya navy suede courts for a wedding outfit. First pair were just a little bit too big but the return and replacement service was quick and easy to use. Next pair fitted perfectly. they are beautiful shoes and are clearly packed with a lot of care and attention. Have now worn them for two all-day events, the wedding and a day at the races and they were extremely comfortable without lacking in style - I got lots of compliments and questions as to where I got them. I even danced the night away in them with no need to change into my flat shoes. Will absolutely be buying more but would be great if more were made available in leather - the suede is lovely but our changeable weather does limit when they can be worn!”

“The shoes run a half size large. They are overall comfortable enough. The width in front is perfect but the shoes need more arch support as it feels like they have none. Very cute designs though! I did get blisters when I wore them at first, but I’m chalking it up to the fact that they were new and needed to be “broken in.” Delivery could have been better, as they miswrote my address on the box the first time (and yes, I checked - I input the address correctly, but it seems they manually label the boxes separately). I had to exchange one of the shoes for a different size as they sent me the wrong one, but the process was smooth.”

“This year I’ve bought two pairs of Sargasso & Grey shoes to attend family weddings. Having wide feet “occasion shoes” can be a painful experience but my Sargasso and Grey shoes not only looked beautiful, they were also extremely comfortable and I wore them all day quite happily. Unfortunately I managed to catch my gorgeous green Penelope shoes in a grating at the church & I thought they were completely ruined. I contacted Sargasso & Grey and they very kindly arranged to have them repaired. I am so happy, Thank You so much - excellent customer service.”

“Superstella Wide Fit Trainers - Green & Pink Unfortunately for me fabric of these trainers is much to hard. I had to take out the sole but even then it feels uncomfortable, not smooth and soft at all.”

“Since childhood I have always been blighted with extremely wide and deep feet. I’ve only ever found shoes for wide feet that might be comfy but are absolutely ghastly designs. I’ve always had difficulty finding stylish shoes that I can wear without discomfort. Up until now I’ve had to buy two sizes larger than my actual shoe size to accommodate my wide feet. I’ve just bought such a pretty pair of blue suede court shoes from Sargasso & Grey and to my absolute delight - they fit perfectly and feel so comfortable. They also arrived promptly and beautifully packed. For the first time in years I shall feel feminine being able to wear court shoes with a heel again, and on top of that they feel comfortable and don’t pinch. I will definitely be buying more from this company and already I’ve got my eye on a pair of stylish ankle boots!”

“Unfortunately, these shoes were way too tight and not a good match for my dress. I’m an EEE fitting (size 12-14 dress size) and I do not understand why “wide fit” can mean E to EEE fit between retailers. I’ve learnt a lot this year looking for a pair of shoes to match the outfit for my daughter’s wedding in September. I would say to you be more specific about your sizing and everyone would save alot of time. I’m still looking!”

Hi Fran We are sorry to learn the shoes were too tight and didn't match your dress. Many Mothers of the Bride come to us for their shoes so we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for such a momentous occasion. Our shoes come in EE and EEE fittings, depending on the style. These fittings are based on the technical specifications of the last (shoe mold). While the difference in width is mm, it can still make a notable difference to how the shoes fit and feel. We detail the width fitting of each style on the relevant product page. We appreciate buying shoes online can be frustrating and time-consuming, so we offer as much sizing assistance as possible with a foot measurement guide and an Ai tool to help customers find the right size based on other brands they wear. We will shortly be listing insole measurements for all our shoes, and we are always happy to talk with customers and advise them on suitable styles. Although our shoes were not to be, we hope you find the perfect fitting pair and wish you a wonderful wedding!
