“S&G were amazing! Memorable for the right reasons. My first order was a black pair of courts, to compliment a dress for our special night at Covent Garden. I ordered a size 3.5 but found them too large at the heal. So ordered a replacement size 3, but established they were waiting new stock. The deadline to our evening was very tight!! New stock arrived 48 hours before my concert. They despatched them, to arrive in North Yorkshire the day of our departure to London. Royal Mail did NOT deliver at 9:00. We waited until late morning still no parcel. S&G were informed. They then detached another pair, addressed to our Hotel in London for next day delivery, allowing me to wear them to our long awaited trip to see Swan Lake! The shoes arrived, at the hotel, a perfect fit and wonderfully comfortable all evening. Philip was amazed a company understood just how important the shoes were to me for that evening. 5 star shoes and service. Thanks to everyone at S&G.”

“I am delighted with my Helena court shoes. I didn't really believe the claims that these shoes comfortably fit feet with bunions - but believe me, they DO. Haven't worn heels for years because of bunion-related pain and the fact that wide-fit shoes are always too loose on the heel. I stood up and / or danced in these for several hours at a wedding with no pain, and no worries about my feet slipping out at the heel. The shoes even withstood a large expanse of gravel courtyard (why would a wedding venue instal such an unfriendly surface??). A friend, similarly afflicted in the foot department, tried them on and is currently scouring the Sargasso and Grey website herself. I'll be back for more. I bought three pairs to choose from. The return and refund process for the two that I returned was seamless and quick.”

“Beautiful, elegant shoes - exactly the sort of style I was looking for to wear to my daughter's forthcoming summer wedding. I cannot fault the customer service - S&G were happy for me to order two sizes and didn't mind me returning the wrong size. Plus offered advice for the shoe that seemed a little big on my half-size smaller foot. I'm not used to wearing heels on account of arthritis in my big toe joint, but the shoes I ordered are as a comfortable as I think it possible to get - a little pressure on top of my joint, but bearable for the big day, and I'm sure the leather will soften with further wear. So happy to have found this company - I'll be buying again in the future.”

“I have just purchased my first pair of Lola Wide Fit Court Shoe – Cobalt Blue Suede, and I'm hooked!! Having put them on for a 14.00 wedding ceremony and then finally taking them off at 01:00, having danced the night away...my feet suffered no pain or blisters which is unheard of!!
