“Over the last 3 years or so, I have developed a large bunion on my right foot and a smaller one on my left. EE width shoes from some makers have been OK on the bunion area but too wide on the rest of my foot; from other makes they have simply been too tight on my bunions! At last!! I have bought two pairs of your shoes in one week. Bliss is the only word! The delight of putting on new shoes and being able to walk around in no pain! No taking them to a shoe repairers to be stretched, and after that still having to put a plaster on my right foot. My feet feel 10 years younger. These will not be my only purchases. I wish you made the Eve with the embellishment in black; I have a load of black or black based evening outfits, but no navy!”

Sargasso & Grey were excellent with help on sizing, fitting and speedy returns and they added an embellishment to my plain shoes as they are for a wedding. I am very satisfied customer thank you.”

“I wore my gorgeous Monica boots for the first time today, to meet my daughter in town. We covered 2 miles, up and down steps and over cobbles! My feet were comfortable and I had no problems with my bunions. For a first outing, that was pretty amazing. Both my daughter and her friend, who we saw during the morning, were very complimentary on the style and appearance of the boots. This is the 3rd pair of footwear I have bought from you (it won’t be the last) and they are all so comfortable. Thank you so much for making me feel feminine again 💕”

“I originally bought a couple pairs for my wife who has severe bunion pain and these shoes were the REMEDY for her feet. Although the shoes I received were not the exact fit, Katie Owen gave much of her personal attention to our returns process. She truly gives each customer top-level customer service and I do believe that she handles all the customer inquiries herself. If you have worked in a call center like I have, you know how difficult that is. The shoes themselves were of FANTASTIC quality. The leather was soft, yet resilient and would stand up over a long period of time. The comfort was incredible for my wife. Will definitely be purchasing another pair of SARGASSO & GREY'S in the future!”

“Thank you Kate for your excellent customer service, you really do go that extra mile for your customers. Today I received my second pair of S&G shoes after ordering my first purchase at Xmas 2021. For any lady that has given up hope of being able to get an elegant and comfortable pair of shoes on their deformed feet, I truely recommend, that you try a pair from this company. I rarely buy on line and certainly would not consider footwear, as I have over a 100 pairs of shoes that once purchased, cripple my feet and lay in perfect condition in my wardrobe. I have a large bunion and hammer toes and both the Caroline and Harriet designs were wide enough to accommodate my disfigured feet. I was over the moon with my first purchase and equally happy with my second. I have already recommended S&G to my friends and will definitely buy again from this company. After wearing trousers and black trainers for so long, the joy of being able to wear a dress with elegant shoes has already made 2022 a good year . “My second pair of Sargasso & Grey shoes are just as lovely as the first. I have feet that are usually impossible to fit but these are perfect, both comfortable and really attractive. Well worth saving up for. I'd rather buy one pair of Sargasso & Grey shoes than three pairs from elsewhere that don't fit, look terrible, are agony for weeks and end up in the charity shop! “The Chelsea boot is darker brown than expected but is just right. Very well made. My feet are towards the wide end of normal but l wanted to be able to wear thicker socks with the boots so l thought a wide fit would be perfect. However, these boots are NOT wide fit.”

“This is my first purchase from Sargasso & Grey. I’ve not worn the beautiful shoes yet as they’re for a Christmas party. Normally buying shoes from an on line store would not usually appeal to me as I have a hammer toe and never get the fit, however the reviews were great so I gave them a try and wasn’t disappointed. Will need to wait a while for my next purchase, just a little expensive, but worth it.”

“Finding Sargasso and Grey was a godsend for me. I was planning my outfit for my son’s wedding which was taking place abroad . I saw the shoe that I liked and made enquiries. I was going to purchase a half size larger than my usual size to take into account the heat and length of the flight causing swelling. Also I wanted the shoes dyeing a particular colour. Katie was fabulous to deal with and no matter what I asked she responded almost immediately and sometimes out of hours. The wedding had to be cancelled due to COVID “red list “ status, the venue was then rearranged in the UK with only 11 weeks to go. I checked on line and the shoes I wanted were no longer available. Katie was wonderful she managed to get the shoes in my usual size and arranged delivery and dyeing too. I cannot praise her highly enough she just goes above and beyond with her customer service . Needless to say on the day my shoes complimented my outfit perfectly . Fab company to purchase from and the shoes are quality . I will definitely purchase again . It’s great to be able to find stylish fashionable shoes for ladies with extra wide feet. The service was excellent and absolutely unbeatable customer service.”
