The accreditation, in our opinion, has no value as it is quite meaningless

Process is fine but not sure you really are interested as in most cases our approval is linked to payment as opposed to looking at the information provided.

It is all very confusing for a small contractor and getting mixed and misleading replies didn't help. I found it quite frustrating.

its ridiculous that we can only submit our documents 30days prior to recertification and then have to wait 20 working dats before it is reviewed. it means the certificate has expired before you review it. You say that it is within 20 working days but my expieriecne is that it is not even looked at untilafter the 20 workimg days, despite many requests

Hi Bidvest Noonan ROI Limited, Thank you for your feedback. We truly value the insights we receive from our customers, and in response to your feedback, we've made an improvement. Previously, you could submit the renewal questionnaire 30 days before your expiry date. Now, we've extended that window to 60 days before expiry, giving you an additional 30 days to complete the submission. We hope this change makes a positive difference as you prepare for next year! Best regards, SafeContractor

From start to finish took too long to process our information, just under 3 months. Persons processing my information changed at least three times. Duplicate information requests. Lack of familiarity with us as a customer even though been doing safecontractor for approx15 years.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Positive or negative, we do always appreciate your feedback. After submission your questionnaire starts the process by going to our pre-audit team and then to our audit team, where they can ask for additional information to complete their checks. This is where you would have seen different advisors as each team process your information in different ways, the pre-audit do the initial checks whereas the auditors will review your information in deeper detail. I hope the above information explains our process a little more. If you require any further information about this please do not hesitate to get in touch. Best wishes, Rhys - Senior Customer Care advisor

An email from one of your Customer Care Advisors to another colleague sent to me by mistake ending in the following "would it be possible for yourself to reach out to Joanne ASAP just because I feel as though she could be one to start raising a complaint about the process" A very non apologetic reply when i responded asking him to clarify what he meant "As you would have thought, the email below was meant for Thomas, which by mistake I sent yourself. Within a minute after I accidentally sent that, I sent an email to Thomas asking if he could reach out ASAP, if he doesn’t pick it up this morning then I will forward it onto the management of the Technical support team. I do understand your frustrations completely as I did see that your H&S policy was dated within the last 12 months, which Thomas will be able to discuss with yourself. Had the query at hand just been to do with support in general with the questionnaire/documentation, then it is more than likely that I would have been able to help you or if not, put you through to a member of our technical support team to help you through the completion. Because in this situation Thomas has already made comments and requested additional information, therefore I am unable to answer on his behalf and wouldn’t want to lead you down the wrong path at all, which is why I have contacted Thomas to reach out to yourself. As regard to the line about the possibility of you complaining, I mentioned this as it tends to usually get the ball rolling a bit quicker if that word is used, and of course we wouldn’t want to cause yourself to raise a complaint as it would mean you have had a bad experience, so I am just trying to turn that around for yourself. Your understanding would be much appreciated, and like I said, I will raise this further if Thomas does not contact me this morning" Not impressed with being spoken to like this

Hi Joanne, One of our team leaders will be reaching out to discuss your experience and discuss remedial steps ASAP. Please accept my sincere apologies for the service you've received. This is inexcusable behaviour as our customers queries and feedback deserve to be heard and resolved without prejudice. Your initial query was handled by one of our Customer Care Apprentices. While they receive the same training as any fully fledged member of our team it appears to be that inexperience has shown in this instance and further support is required as this falls far below the standards we would expect. We will be in touch in due course. With apologies, Tom Parry Customer Care Manager

It was the worst accreditation process we have ever had due to response times. Unfortunately, they are forcing their customers to pay extra for being audited quickly by auditing the company in two months without any feedback.

Hi Chamberlaine Cleaning Services Ltd, Thank you for your feedback. We truly value the insights we receive from our customers, and in response to your feedback, we've made an improvement. Previously, you could submit the renewal questionnaire 30 days before your expiry date. Now, we've extended that window to 60 days before expiry, giving you an additional 30 days to complete the submission. Although our package response times remain the same, this will hopefully allow extra time for the audit to take place ensuring a smoother process for coming years. We submiited our submission on the 3rd April and following a phone call on the 14th May - it then got reviewed by an auditor. We are extremely disppointed with the turn around time - please note we did NOT need to provide any further information. Other SSIP accreditations can turn things around in just a few days and we now recommed them due to your protracted audit review timings! All you want is extra money through 'Express' upselling!!

Awful experience. Submit documents in before the deadline to then find out it takes over 1 month (30 working days!) for it only to reach a pre-audit assessment. Causing us to go out of accreditation. There is a major push to pay extra for a quicker response which is wrong - if you pay for the accreditation you should have a service. I have had no option but to speed things up by going down the deem to satisfy route which to me completley goes against the whole point of having accreditation with yourselves.

A waste of money, of no benefit to our business, and lots of sales calls....which was expected. I would NEVER EVER recommend SafeContractor, and what's worse, the auditors are not 100% conversant with the relevant legisltation to the location of the business going through this uselss exercise.

We submitted our application at the end of February and heard nothing till the final day that Alcumus must respond ( this has happened before they try and leave it to encourage you to use the enhanced service and pay more. We left it knowing they would contact us ) None of our suppliers noticed that it hadnt renewed which makes us question why we even need it. Once we were given an assessor it took 11 days not the promised 5. This is a money making machine . Dont use them unless you absolutely have to

You did not deliver the service in the time scales you advertise & when asked why it was because of low staffing numbers & a high amount of businesses had submitted their assessments at the same time.

Poor all round, takes months to get through an audit, documents acceptable last year are now not acceptable, the responses are slow, takes weeks to come back, it isnt something I would recoment. The fact that we previously went through an ISO 45001 audit with no problem makes me wonder what the real cause of the delays is for.

If I could give you zero stars I would. I've never come across a company with such bad customer service. Only interested in getting membership payment off you, then the service they deliver is appalling. Glad I cancelled my membership.

I am very disappointed at the service provided by safe contractor. We had our renewal recently and I agreed on receipt of renewal a payment date which was agreed and confirmed. Prior to this date I received a rather what I felt threatening email stating if I didn’t pay the renewal our membership would be terminated. This is the left not knowing what the right has agreed and I found this very unprofessional. I hope that this feed back is received as a training issue to some staff who write these sort of communications to long standing customers.
