“Good product but a bit disjointed at times. We submitted documents that were in date when submitted but due to delays by SafeContractor during the assessment process, they became out of date and had to be resubmitted. Also documents where uploaded onto the portal but not seen by the assessor but overall the process works.”

“All Good, the only issue recently raised, is that the time allocated to complete the yearly audit and the processing time taken, passes the certification date and we get inundated by clients advising us that our certification has expired.”

In terms of timescales, the questionnaire is open all year around for you to fill in and upload documents so that you can do this at your convenience. The submit button will become available 30 days prior to your current certificate's expiry to give us time to review your file before the current certificate runs out. There are also options to upgrade the package you are on which would give different options for response times and assistance. “Had a very good experience on the whole. The idea of providing an interim check and giving feedback works well. The only difficulty experienced was related to the name of the company on the insurance documents needing to be explained twice before being accepted as being valid.”

“I found Derek King the auditor to be very helpful. I still feel that the system needs to be changed and doesn't cater for smaller practised especially Building Surveyors who tend to be the sole consultant on a job and often projects are simple repair and maintenance, therefore, your questions seeking to show co-operation etc with other consultants just do not apply. I make the same comments every year and nothing changes so I guess I am wasting my time again.”
