I think you should allow companies to pay once accredited. At the moment there is no incentive for Alcumus to process the accreditation quickly, payment has been made, but the membership is not running. This works in favour of Alcumus but not for your clients

The best auditors to work with, so helpful no pressure on upselling. Highly recommended, they seem to be in business for excellence and making a difference and not a money making machine, like all the other platforms.

Very slow annual audit and the subscription is too expensive. We only use SafeContractor because some of our clients want us to.

I am sorry to hear that in this instance you felt the audit process was slow. At SafeContractor we do operate a queue system owing to the volume of accounts we have to process. To counter this, we do offer a variety of packages dependant on the needs of our contractors. For example, those who are happy to wait don't need to upgrade, but for businesses where there is urgency the express package is more appropriate. From start to finish took too long to process our information, just under 3 months. Persons processing my information changed at least three times. Duplicate information requests. Lack of familiarity with us as a customer even though been doing safecontractor for approx15 years.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Positive or negative, we do always appreciate your feedback. After submission your questionnaire starts the process by going to our pre-audit team and then to our audit team, where they can ask for additional information to complete their checks. This is where you would have seen different advisors as each team process your information in different ways, the pre-audit do the initial checks whereas the auditors will review your information in deeper detail. We have been working with SafeContractor for over 15 years and have always found the staff very helpful and responsive to any queries that have been raised regarding of accredidation.

As your business is on the standard package these lead times for accreditation can apply. In order to avoid delays, You can complete your questionnaire all year round and then submit 30 days before expiry. I submitted my information and documentation in plenty of time, it took so long to be verified that we were out of compliance.

Some businesses may accept a longer wait time if they don't need continuous approval, while others require a quicker response to ensure their certificate remains current and in date.
