“Our teacher was amazing, he used real life experiences, relating them to each scenario. He was very understanding about Covid, ensuring we only do what was necessary during these times.”

“The course was very informative and well structured, and having the content covered via an online module, a gave time for questions and discussion in a sometimes organic way, during the face-to-face part of the course, which was very helpful. Of course, having done first aid courses fully face-to-face over two days, there is also an opportunity for this sometimes, and face-to face learning, allowing break out activities and discussions is really great too, but I thought a well-worked course considering not only Covid, but busy school schedules, so especially helpful as a refresher for someone like me who had done a 1st aid course before. The facilitator was really knowledgeable and helpful. The only downside was that the venue was cold, but that was for ventilation as a Covid measure, so was very understandable, just maybe had I thought in advance, I would have worn more clothes!”

“Very interactive and informative. The trainers were a lot of fun and made the six hours go very quickly. Watching the staff practice the abdominal thrust on the trainers was the best laugh I have had in ages. Great Camerderie from all the staff, therefore, covered a great team-building activity too. “I honestly feel that the face to face workshop goes on for a very long time yet not a lot of practical work is achieved. We spent a lot of time watching powerpoints, reading through slides and watching videos of someone being resuscitated on Bondai beach. We didn't start any practical until 3pm, when everyone was feeling pretty drained and the dancing around to 'staying alive' just felt very unnecessary and inappropriate. There was too much irrelevant chit chat from the trainer and the course could have easily been at least an hour shorter”
