“I received a click and collect order that I wanted to return in store but when I went to the store was told no one was available to do the return so I would have to wait until after the weekend. This was deprime there being numerous members of staff available but all looking to sell rather than think about customer service for actual customers. Really disappointing”

Hi, I'm sorry you weren't happy with our service. As we explained at the time, our shop floor staff are not trained in online returns and our online staff weren't working on that Saturday, so we weren't able to issue an immediate refund but your order was passed to our online department, processed and refunded on the Monday. “Awful - delayed postage as I ordered TWO of the same item (a watch for myself and my wife) the delay subsequently meant I was away on holiday when postage was attempted - despite informing teh retailer I was away AND changing my delivery options of Royal Mail. nearly 2 weeks later the goods were posted. I have returned for a full refund (to which Ann from customer service said I wouldn't be refunded the return costs! This, despite the rig moral I have been through. Will stick to more reputable retailers going forward. In the time it took to get delivered, I ordered from John Lewis and have rand 45km over 4 separate runs/races in my new watch. GARBAGE!”

“Even though I was called when the original colour/size I needed was not in stock, which I thought was impressive, it has now been 11 days since the order was dispatched. I did not mind waiting for the new stock to come, but I think 11 days is too long after a notification of dispatch email has been sent. At what point do I report the purchase lost in transit?”

“I love Run and Become, but can't give any stars right now as the gift certificate I ordered online on Dec. 4 still hasn't arrived! I know there have been postal strikes, but it's been over two weeks - and I only live a few miles away from the store. Not happy.”

“I ordered size 9 but received 9.5 instead, if you don’t have stock just say “out of stock” I don’t have enough time to order and send them back over and over £120 shoes. So you got away with it but this is second and last time I use your website to buy. Thanks”

“I’m sorry as this may not entirely be the fault of Run & Become but they used Royal Mail for my delivery which at time of writing still has not arrived! The item was dispatched by R&B to the London Central Mail Centre on 13/12/2 where it was recorded as received at 05:12am on Tuesday 14 December with the statement “it’s on its way”. Since that time the item has not moved. It was meant to be Xmas gift and I contacted R&B to advise them of my issue. I was advised they would look into the matter and get back to me but nothing has been heard and latest track of the item still shows it is sitting, presumably in a cage, in London. I suggest R&B use a better delivery service!”

“During an email thread where you asked me about some custom data, I asked: "Please do not include invoice or anything with the price of the product in the package.". I received no reply to this. If you had told me it wasn't possible, I would have cancelled the order before you shipped it and we'd have avoided all inconveniences I had.”

“Two pairs of shoes ordered and delivered unfortunately I’ve had to return both pairs because the sizes were way out. I would normally wear a six and ordered several sizes larger but I couldn’t get them on so would need several sizes up. Hoping the charges are refunded quickly.”

“The shoes delivered were not only the wrong colour but the wrong model. I ordered Hoka One One Bondi 7 in Grey. What arrived was Hoka One One Bondi 6 in Blue/Orange. I don’t expect to order something in good faith to be sent the previous (now defunct) design in the wrong colour.I At least the refund seems to have been processed relatively quickly. I've now ordered them direct from Hoka.”
