This is the second time I have put an order in for bathroom ceiling cladding and both orders have had atleast 20% of the boards damaged, both times I have been in the middle of a job and I have had to buy replacement boards from other tradesmen I know to be able to finish the jobs putting extra cost to the job. On my last order I asked for the boards to be packed with extra packing to try and avoid this which was completely ignored. On my latest order I was promised my order would arrive before the Friday as the job was booked in for the Friday they actually turned up the following Tuesday I called Rubber Duck on the Friday and was told I would have a phone call back on the Monday however nobody ever called me on the Monday to confirm what was going on, cancelling the job and putting it back left the customer unhappy with our company. Poor service and absolutely no commitment to the customer as I should of been refunded for all the damaged boards on both orders. Sooner or later I'll be taking my business elsewhere

Good Morning Jonathon, We're very sorry to hear about the damage received during delivery. We pack these items using heavy cardboard edge protection and plastic wrap to ensure the protection remains in place during transit. Typically we rarely see damages reported on the products we send out. We are aware however that, during times of increased demand on courier networks, damages do occur a little more often. We do listen and learn from customer feedback and we are looking into ways to negate the increase in courier damages during the busier periods. Again, we're sorry you've not had the normal Rubberduck experience here. If ever you need anything in the future give us a call and we'll make sure the next one is much better! Absolutely rubbish service never ever again will we use this company parts never turned up parts missing had to wait weeks to get parts for the Burlington shower keep away from this company

Good Afternoon Karl, We're very sorry to hear about the issues faced on your order. As with most online retailers, your item was supplied by one of the UK distributors used by Burlington. We appreciate things didn't go to plan and as a customer of ours, we can only apologise. The delay on receiving your missing part occurred due to the fact that the UK distributor who initially completed your order in Smiths-Briten, no longer distributes on behalf of Burlington. When you informed us of the missing part, we reached out to Smiths immediately but they no longer stocked those items and had to order them in before dispatching. We can see your part was due to be delivered this week on the 26th but failed as there was no answer and the redelivery attempt on the 27th also failed. We can see a message was passed so you can arrange for a more suitable time for the 3rd attempt. Thankfully, we don't see many changes at distribution level so this was an isolated incident. Non existent communication, which may have made the process 100 times better. I have had to call 3 times to find out the status of my product and although I was told yesterday it would be delivered today, I recieved an email this morning that it would be delivered tomorrow. I have had to take a total of 7 work days to stay indoors on it's arrival, when a simple call or email letting me know it's exactly delivery day would have worked. Bitterly disappointed.

Good Afternoon Pearl, We're very sorry to hear you feel the service wasn't what you expected. We do feel there must have been a miscommunication somewhere along the line however. We can see the order confirmation email went out at the time of ordering and we can see a tracking link was also provided on dispatch from the warehouse. It's unfortunate but sometimes emails can filter in to spam or junk folders and can be missed. Also, we do have the telephone lines open for all customers. If they need to confirm any detail they can simply give us a call and we'll help from there. Again, we're sorry you feel the service wasn't up to your standard. Good Morning Lee, We're sorry you feel the delivery cost was a little too high. These wall panels are large bulky goods that are dispatched direct by the manufacturer. The delivery fee you see is simply the cost we incur in order to transport your goods to your home. We do not state anywhere across the website that these items come with free delivery. If you look across other suppliers, we're still one of if not the cheapest supplier online. Looking at this order specifically, we can see your items were delivered without issue within the timeframes stated across the website. I ordered 2 wet wall panels from this company (white sparkle ). I had a cheaper quote from another supplier by all most 140 pounds but decided to go we this company after readying the reviews. My order was placed and took longer to be delivered. Due to me been on holiday at the time of delivery my joiner took in the delivery. He checked over the wet wall products and all looked fine with no damaged or marking so all goods the 2 panel was taken in and installed to the bathroom. No recipe was given on delivery as E mailed to me. ( We didn’t think they was faulty ) When I returned home I found that the wrong panels had been delivered not white ones but 2 black ones with white end caps. Total cost to me was 375 pound for the panels. I made a compliant to the manager this morning to find him extremely rude to me on the phone offered no help for their mistake and basically started to laugh down the phone at me. If you are about to place an order with this company please think twice before doing so I wish I had this kind if info before placing the order. The customer service is one of the worse I have ever dealt with. I was told by the manager that human error happens and it not there fault for sending the wrong ones. please stay away from this company as if anything goes wrong with your order they will be no help or refund available.

Good Morning Tommy, We're very sorry to hear about the issues faced here. Looking across the details, we can see that Black Sparkle panels were delivered when you had ordered White Sparkle. We can only apologise for this error and any inconvenience it may have caused. The problem was compounded by the fact the items delivered were accepted and then installed. As a retailer, we cannot arrange for a collection and replacement panels to go out from the manufacturer several weeks after installation. To account for rare issues such as this, we advise customers to check deliveries on receipt or as soon as reasonably possible for any discrepancies. On reporting, we arrange for replacements to be dispatched ASAP to minimise any delay. We have offered to replace the panels at a heavily reduced cost however this was declined. Shower wall panel was damaged. But as we didn't open the packaging until 3 weeks after the delivery (to ensure it was kept safe) we are now left with a broken unusable panel. Sticker on panel is dated 12.01.2020 so it's obviously been sat in a warehouse for 18months and has been stood on

The panels purchased are distributed by the manufacturer directly and are stored at height on a shelving system within their warehouse. We find damage to the corner of the panels is more typical from either poor courier handling when in transit to the customer, from moving the panels after arriving on site or duriing installation. As we're aware that damages while rare can happen from time to time, we advise customers to check deliveries on receipt or as soon as reasonably possible for any damages or discrepancies. On reporting damage to a delivery, we arrange for replacements to be dispatched ASAP to minimise any delay. Again, we're very sorry to hear about the damage to your panel Sarah. Delivery driver turned up this morning at 7:40 without any notification from Rubberduck or the delivery company of when to expect them. The driver rang the doorbell, waited 20 seconds and then got in his van and drove off with my order. No phone calls or any form of communication to say a delivery was attempted. A call to Rubberduck customer service was pretty pointless as they basically said delivery is usually "Between 7am and 5:30pm" (which is just a tiny bit vague unless you expect people to sit at their house all day with no toilet or bathroom, waiting for a delivery) and it's out of their hands and a redelivery won't be attempted today (Friday) and will only be reattempted on Tuesday....really??? Sounds like you guys need a better delivery company because that is just complete rubbish!

Good Morning Craig, We're sorry to hear that you missed your delivery this morning. We can see your order was placed with us on the afternoon of the 5th and a dispatch notification was sent an hour after confirmation of that order, which contained a delivery ETA scheduled for today. As detailed in the dispatch email, the panels themselves are delivered directly by the manufacturer themselves and they operate an all-day service between 7am and 6pm. Multipanel deliver in certain areas on certain days to help minimise delivery windows for customers. As they plan driver routes for that day, they can't simply turn around and go back to customers that missed their delivery. If they did they would potentially miss one of the later drops for that route. In any event, with redelivery taking place Tuesday, your panels will still arrive within the windows stated across the website at the time of ordering. Next day delivery does not happen . The bath panel came four days after I ordered it so had to re book my plumber and pay his lost time. Now this bathroom will not be finished till next week. Don’t say next day delivery if you can’t make it.

Good Morning Jane, We're sorry you feel the service wasn't as expected. We do believe your service rating is somewhat unjustified here, however. We can see that your order was placed on a Thursday afternoon, after the 2pm cut off for next working day delivery. We can also see that a dispatch confirmation and tracking link was sent over to yourself at 8:25am, the very next morning after placing your order. As the order came in after cut off for the next working day service and your dispatch day was a Friday, the item arrived without issue and was signed for by yourself at 2:15pm on the next working day, which was Monday. Absolutely disappointed with the way in which this company goes about its business! Take your money for the order via its website only then to advise the products are not available from the supplier, why are they being offered in the 1st place at such low prices, because they dont exist! When requesting a refund as the alternatives offered were more expensive, the process took 4 weeks before refunding my money. Customer service states they can take 30 days legally to refund!! Beware of charlatans.

Horrendous. Bath leaked water (no where near the bath waste) and rubber duck refused to take responsibility for it instead telling us the bath waste hadn’t been installed correctly. Even the process to get to that stage was a shambles and they wanted to leave our customer with no washing facility for over a week. We ended up purchasing a bath from another supplier at our own cost because rubber duck won’t take responsibility for their products. My advice would be go to Victoria Plum, far superior products and service

We can see your order was placed on the evening of the 2nd, dispatched on the 3rd and delivered on the 4th of this month. This review is the first we've heard of any issue regarding that delivery. To all of Rubberduck Bathrooms clients be very very aware to the return policy I recently bought a item for £38 and this item was 2.2meters long and weighs 2kg I request to return it back and that’s when my problem started because Royal Mail and Parcelforce would not take the item due to its length and DHL was the cheapest Courier company and charged £38 I spoke to Rubberduck bathrooms and their policy is that they do not reimburse postage so I was left with the goods I don’t want because it is uneconomical viable to return

Good Morning Isaac, Thanks for taking the time to help inform customers of our return policy. We are confused as to the low rating, however. Your order was placed after cut off on the 3rd. Dispatched on a FedEx tracked next-day service on the 4th and delivered without issue on the 5th. As with most other retailers within our sector, we operate the standard UK returns policy. If you return your item to us, we would happily provide a full refund. We do not, however, operate a collection service for customers who change their minds. If we did, we would have to drastically change our pricing structure. Which would make the items displayed far more expensive for all our valued customers. All information a customer would need to make an informed purchase is provided across the website and in the event of any missing product info, we operate a dedicated customer support line too. We can see from the order details that the profile left us on a FedEx next-day service less than an hour after you had placed your order. Something didn't go to plan after leaving us, as your item was then held in a FedEx depot for several days before arriving with the issues described. We do our best to make sure orders are delivered ASAP without issue but we're aware that couriers at times can be a little overzealous during the busier periods, however. Good Afternoon Surendra, We're sorry you feel the delivery cost was a little high. Others offer 'free' or 'cheaper' delivery but the item cost displayed is much higher, which is likely why you bought from us in the first place. Even so, all costs are made apparent pre-purchase - if you felt the costs were too high, you could have shopped elsewhere. The panels are 2.4m long and over 1.2m wide and quite awkward to transport. Given the widely covered increase in fuel costs this year, there has been a small price adjustment to cover the increase in costs to transport goods. The delivery cost is the same for 1 panel as it is for 10 however. The above being said, when taking item price and delivery costs combined, we're still one of if not the cheapest online today. We can also see a return request was accepted for one of the 900mm panels. With you going on holiday you requested that the return be made once home. Which again was accepted as a gesture of goodwill. We do not offer a collection service simply due to the costs involved. To do so would significantly increase the prices displayed across our website. We do however look to help in any way we can. Good morning Lee, We're very sorry to hear about the issue with your panels. We're not sure why you feel the customer service offered was poor, however. We can see your order was placed and delivered within 3 working days with dispatch confirmation and an ETA provided. On arrival, you contacted us to say the manufacturer had delivered the wrong finish. As per standard procedure, we requested images of all panels received, so we could arrange for the correct panels to go out from the manufacturer. On the evening of the 2nd, we received an image showing only a single panel. On the morning of the 3rd, we emailed and left a voicemail to ask if only a single panel needed replacing or if it was the full order. As soon as you confirmed all panels needed replacing later that day, we arranged for the correct panels to be delivered with an ETA for the 9th. Your matter was dealt with in less than 1 business day with regular communication and replacements going out in 3 working days. We're sorry again that there was a mix-up with the initial delivery. Extremely poor service. I ordered a shower tray and paid for it. I then called to confirm delivery only for them to tell me it’s not in stock so had to find one locally. It then took them 3 weeks to process the refund. Will never use them again. Very poor customer service.
