These guys were so good at my first online enquiry - I got a phone call within an hour, lots of advice, price matched a competitor, discount of "around 10%" applied. But then I had to make some amendments over the phone, placed the order and discovered it all changed. The price match didn't happen, the discount got smaller every time the order increased (how does that happen?!) Issues with communication over delivery and no one returning our calls. A towel rail was 40% larger than advertised, but apparently this was nothing to do with them, it was the manufacturer's fault and we were supposed to put up with that! A quick reminder of our consumer rights and they agreed to collect the faulty items by courier - these were collected 6 weeks ago and STILL no refund received. So disappointed with the service received from this company and wish I had gone with the competitor they (failed in the end) to price-match. Calls became fairly aggressive from their side when we eventually did get to speak to someone to complain. Btw Gary, you should also know which radiator valve matches the radiator you are selling. We now have a completely useless valve that you missold, in addition to all the other issues.

Hi Mark, We're sorry you feel the service could be improved. We can see your order was put together with the help of your partner several months prior. With all details being confirmed and all parties seemingly happy prior to confirming payment and us placing the order with the manufacturer(s). The problems started after the order was placed - although we did offer a price match in the way of a large discount (-£147.26) applied across the order - when you change items on the order, so then does the discount applied. As we (and every single bathroom retailer) have varying rates across suppliers/products. The towel ring supplied was 228mm wide as opposed to the 160mm advertised and we agreed to the collection and refund at the time. We've had no indication of an issue with your radiator valve until reading this review this morning - the item was purchased as part of a kit put together based on advice from the manufacturer. If there was an issue with compatibility, we would have happily helped had we been made aware. Sorry again you feel the service could be improved. Rubberduck Bathrooms Team

Product arrived a month late. They claim it was delivered previously even though their courier apologised to us at point of delivery for the delay. They then refused to process a refund because it was out of 28 days from the original arranged delivery date. They do not have a collection service so returns are unnecessarily difficult anyway. Avoid the hassle and buy from a company with a better customer service set up.

Good morning Al, We're sorry to hear about the issues faced with your order. We do think you may have us confused with another supplier however. As nothing in the above comment rings true with the order placed with us. We can see your order was placed over the weekend on the 7th of April - Was dispatched using a tracked pallet delivery service on the 11th and booked in for delivery by yourself for the 15th. We have an image showing the pallet on your drive with someone at the door on the morning of the 15th to verify the above too. If you wouldn’t mind revising your review in light of the above. One edge of the panel was damaged, fortunately we could cut the edge down, whoever thought a 270cm solid edging strip would fit into a 206cm cardboard tube without snapping needs help. Needless to say edging strip was in 2 pieces and unusable.

Hi there was some confusion with the order and I didn’t get what I needed. I had to return the item. I haven’t had the refund yet either so all in all disappointing as the level of customer service wasn’t great.

Good afternoon James, We're sorry to hear about the delay with your panels. We can see your panels were out of stock until the 28th, with an email going out at the time of the order to inform you of the extended lead time. The profiles were dispatched from us on a tracked service last week to ensure no further delays with the panels arriving this week. Looking at the manufacturer tracking today, we can see your panels are currently being picked and will be dispatched using a tracked service. Good morning Claire, We're very sorry to hear about the delay with your refund. We do think the timelines stated above are a little off however. We can see an email came in to us 2 weeks ago on the 27th of Feb with images of the item you wished to return. We haven't heard anything further on the matter until reading your review this morning. A quick call or email to let us know the item had been returned could have accelerated the process. Good product, but sadly one panel was damaged upon delivery, I also paid for 3 tubes of adhesive, but only 2 arrived, I was told the 3rd tube of adhesive would come with the replacement board, but it didn’t, although a tube of silicone turned up 3 days afterwards. All this resulted in the job being help up, and me having to go to Screwfix and buy some more adhesive. Sadly this certainly left me very disappointed !!!

Rail had come out of tube packaging and was scratched and slightly bent, luckily I was able to cut the damaged part off. The end of tube only had a small amount of packaging tape on it and the rial easily broke through, it needed cardboard or a plastic cap over the end

Initially, was happy with ordering and delivery time. Unfortunately, I was taken ill and had to store items (correctly on flat surface in dry conditions). Upon using the wall and floor tile backer boards 6mm, 10mm & 12mm, I can’t fault them. However, the 1200 x 900 x 30 wet room shower former was badly warped. Upon reporting this, it was suggested that I rest weights on it overnight. This does take the warp out for about 20 minutes only to return to the same state which renders it useless. Because of the time lapse, I was told there is no come back on replacement and would need to do so at full cost. Although I had initially checked the former for damage on delivery, I didn’t check it for warp damage. As I said, the multiple backer boards are all straight and stored the same. I would suggest upon delivery to check out not only if the items are in one piece but that they aren’t warped

Good morning Graham, We're very sorry to hear about the issues with your tray former. With the order being placed in August last year, we do have our hands tied with the manufacturer in terms of securing any free of charge replacements. We think the suggestion on how to remedy the matter may have been misinterpreted however. The instruction was to weight the former down during installation and the method of fixing combined with the weight applied would secure the former in place and remove any bow. Have twice asked for support on the lack if detailed instructions and no reply. More importantly the flipper panel has a defect in glass. Have sent image and no reply. Client has not seen defect and I would of liked to correct before handover.

Looking back at your order, we can see you had contacted us regarding the matter on morning of the 18th. We sent an email at 11:20am that same morning so you could reply with images of the defect. Once received we would forward them across to the manufacturer for them to collect/replace the item but have had no response to that email. A member of the customer service team will be in touch shortly. If you could please double check the email was replied to. Large image file sizes can often stop the email from being sent. Good selection on web site and is easy to use. I ordered 2 wet room pipe sleeves and chased them up after a week as not arrived. Rubberduck said that the sleeves had been sent via Royal Mail but couldn't track any further. I've asked for a refund which they have said they will do once they receive it back from Royal Mail. 3 weeks on still no refund. Hopefully a one-off problem as would like to use them again for their range of items on sale.

I placed my order for a bath,toilet, basin unit and waste, received email saying items despatched direct - with same date time -what I was not aware off was that Rubberduck bathrooms source their products from various other suppliers and i wrongly assumed that all products would be on the same delivery, I actually had 4 different couriers delivery my order, i missed 1 and had to pay £45 re delivery charge.would I have ordered from them if I knew this ,probably not.

Good morning Gary, We're sorry to hear you're unhappy with a recent purchase. Looking back at your order and email exchanges, you had requested a replacement shower arm as your fitter had damaged the nut used to secure the existing one supplied during fitting. This damage was reportedly caused due to the fact that a washer supplied in the fitting pack was "too small" and the fitter needed to replace that part with a larger washer before tightening in place. You went on to explain that the fitter had used an adjustable spanner directly on the metal surface and caused damage to the the nut. You agreed this was naive from the fitter but hoped we could replace regardless. It was explained that the installation guide provided specifically details not to use metal on metal when looking to tighten that section, as it could cause surface damage. While we were understanding of the situation, it was unfortunate that we could not replace the item free of charge. We appreciate it can be frustrating when issues arise during fitting but as a retailer we have done all we can to help in this instance. Rubberduck Bathrooms Team

The wall board I was sent was warped and had significant rips in its protective film, one of which had been covered with masking tape. The board face did clean up but the bow in the board was a challange to fit. I was supprised to be sent this given its price.

Delivery was nearly a week despite calling them to check the order would be with me within 2-3 days as published on their website. The shower screen ordered stayed it was 800mm yet is 770mm with the wall fixing. I have emailed rubberduck with no response. However I keep receiving emails asking me to give them a review. I don’t normally give reviews but having been asked so many times and not having received a reply to my email I thought I would.

Good morning Lucy, We're sorry to hear you've been unhappy with the service provided. We can't seem to locate any emails regarding your order. If we could please ask that you double-check the email address used. It should begin with contact@. Both of the items ordered display a 2-5 working day delivery ETA across the website. The order was placed mid week on a Wednesday afternoon and appears to have delivered within timescales the following week. When buying shower glass, all glass comes with an adjustment range that you need to take in to account during fitting. This detail is provided in the product description, product specification, again in any technical drawing and highlighted further in the links to the datasheet and fitting instructions directly under the item description. The 800mm detail refers to the compatible shower tray size. Good afternoon Barrie, Apologies for the delay in receiving your full order. We can see the item we held in stock in the warehouse was dispatched on the 18th and has already arrived. The outstanding items on your order were dispatched direct by the manufacturer on Monday last week. I took delivery of a bath panel. Opened to find damage. I reported it via the website contact us section, heard nothing, so had to cut damage away as needed ti get on with project. Then receive this 'how did we do ' . Won't be using again, try answering your customer queries.

Good morning Chris, We're very sorry to hear about the damage received. The reason for the lack of response is simply down to a miscommunication. The policy for reporting damage is outlined across the website pre-sale and again in any email sent after purchasing. As detailed, we require an email with images of the damage to be sent to the inbox that is monitored for this purpose. The form on the website does not allow for images to be sent and is not the correct channel to report damage on delivery. Had we picked up the matter before your item was cut, we would have dispatched a free of charge replacement using a tracked next day service. Again, we're sorry for any inconvenience caused.
