No confirmation of receipt of order, No communication from them at all leaving us wondering for over a week what was going on. An email as to progress was expected as a minimum. I had to contact them and the person I spoke to was rather off-hand and rude

The items arrived swiftly, unfortunately the ceiling panels that were delivered were damanged, 3 out of the 4 panels were damaged, with one having a whole right through the panel, no protection of the products just plastic packaging around the panelling, so not holding out for the replacement item if its packed the same way..!!

Sorry your items were damaged during transport. Your replacement items were dispatch and you received these in good condition.

Unfortunately, the shower boards I ordered were not deep enough. When I asked to return it I was told it would cost £35.00 PLUS a 40% re-stock charge. This certainly wasn't made clear to me when I bought it. As the boards cost nearly £500.00 I would have lost a sizeable sum of money. I returned it via a courier but unfortunately Rubberduck wouldn't accept it as it had been scratched in transit. That's fair enough. What I don't understand is why is there such a high re-stock charge? Rip-off.

There was a damaged item on order,was replaced very quick;but wrong item sent. I contacted them and was told item would be resent out,twice I have contacted and both times been informed item will be sent. Had no emails regarding these replacements,not like the original order.

The ply laminate panels were bowed like bananas and I had to fix them with screws. This was not what I wished to do. I did want to fix them with adhesive. I will not be ordering them from you again. Thanks!!

The products i recieved though intact were poorly packaged i.e. Neptune wall cladding, also i've tried this covering instead of conventional tiles and have found that it is far to flimsey to facilitate a long term wall cladding it needs to be far, far stronger as it easily damages when fixed to wall, it does look good but i wouldnt use it again unless it is improved to higher impact resistance spec.

I ordered the items on 28 th December but only got my delivery on the 4th January 2018. Also the driver wouldn’t bring the cladding upstairs and the driver asked to get my husband to help him as the cladding was rather long and I told him I didn’t have a husband. I told him I live alone with my mum but called the guy whose doing the kitchen to come over to help

Hi Yasmin, You received your order within 4 working days, the product description states 2 to 5 working days, considering it was over the New Year break I think your being fair stating you only received your order yesterday. You ordered 4m long ceiling panels, again the delivery terms state the courier may require assistance with larger items, he asked for help and your fitter help him. Having taken a day off work to wait for my delivery, guess what, the delivery didn't turn up! Whilst I appreciate delivery isn't necessarily the responsibility of Rubberduck, if they're going to use an external distributor they should make sure they use a competent one. Not happy!

Since I have put my order in and paid I have heard nothing, so I have no idea when my purchase is going to be delivered at all. Very unsatisfactory. Please let me know. Penny Webber.

Ordered a shower wall 1200. Waited for it to be delivered - I received a 1000. Delivery guy said his order says 1000. Called Rubber Duck - they said " this happens, we try to catch them but they do slip through. 1 week wasted. Second one ordered after angry calls and no compensation. 1 week later delivery guy turned up, said they send another 1000. He remembered me and checked when loading onto the truck the night before. Then changed the order to a 1200. Nice guy. So, saving a couple of quid to get the cheapest option doesn't always work. Cost me a week....... Not using them again.

Why when I sepcifically ordered the 900mm width package have you sent the standard 1200mm boards. I now have to pay someone to cut them down to 900mm which is the size I wanted and why I ordered from you in the first place.

I ordered a showerboard to be delivered ready for a weekend to fit (even got rid of the kids out the way). Delivery arrived Friday as expected - wrong showerboard – too small. Call into check and apparently between them taking the order and passing it on, they changed it from 1200 to 1000 which is of no use. Weekend now wasted, as they can’t get another to me before Wednesday. When I called in apparently “this does happen, we try to catch them all but some slip through”. Lesson learned – use a local company for a few extra £ - internet based transactions don’t always save you time or money. Not a happy customer 

I purchased a Burlington toilet seat that had the description 'real wood'. I didn't like it at all when I received it and telephoned so I could return it. I was told toilet seats were not returnable it was 'consumer law'. After much discussion with Ashley, about the description of 'real wood' (MDF) and no mention on the website that toilet seats were not returnable, he said he would contact Burlington to see if they would accept a return. They agreed as long as it was still sealed but it would be less 25% of the purchase price and returned at my expense. After further discussion Ashley advised me that MDF is real wood but not solid wood and I should have gone for a more expensive seat - the one I purchased was reduced to £48 ?p from £74 ?p on your website. I believe the description is misleading and it should be stated when one is made of MDF and also spelt out clearly that toilet seats are non returnable. Ashley was courteous but I will not be using Rubber Duck again. I await my full refund which he did promise me in the end. The toilet seat has cost me £12 to return. Not a good experience.

Delivery was not on time and my items arrived in three deliveries on three separate days. I also received an invoice for £24 from the courier although I was assured that delivery was free

Dear Ruairi, I'm sorry you are unhappy with our delivery service, but as you can appreciate most companies won't even deliver to the out most Highlands in Scotland. Rubberduck delivered for no extra change but needed to use two different couriers due to your location. For this service to the Highlands you were not charged but an additional charge from the courier got included with you delivery paperwork by mistake, Rubberduck once contacted explained this was an error and told you to ignore the invoice as it was for us, but unfortunately you have chosen to leave this two star review despite the service we provided that most others would not. Easy online ordering and early despatch of items all good but this was off-set by the very rude man who actually delivered the items so my overall star rating is poor, bad manners are never acceptable. Although his grasp and understanding of English may have been an issue, common courtesy, good manners and a smile is universally understood by everyone and he would do well to remember that!

Being asked to write a review but haven't received product. It was due tomorrow but have just had phone call saying it won't be until Thursday now due to our postcode! It's the same postcode as when I ordered!

Promised delivery date of a Tuesday wa delayed till 2 days later the Thursday. Nothing arrived so had to chase up today Friday. Rubber Duck unable to contact delivery firm. Still waiting.

We are sorry about the issues with your order of shower wall. ShowerWall is owned by Saint Gobain which was hit by a cyber attack (see the national and international news) which has mean all section of the Saint Gobain Group have had there IT systems closed for repair. This has lead onto all showerwall orders being done manually on paperwork and via phone calls. We are sorry for the inconvenience

Service from Rubberduck fine, unfortunate experience with the courrier they use - FED EX. They lost (tracked?) our order. Rubberduck had no more in stock so had to cancel order and reordered with another company. Refund prompt. FED EX delivered the product days later? - left with neighbour, yet put out name as recieving? Rubber duck notified and informed FED EX would collect. We had no further contact and FED EX arrived with no notification - luckily we arrived home as they were at the address.

Ordered whispering grass metallic grey shower wall panels. Green panels delivered in error. Not necessarily rubber duck fault but a mistake in supply chain. Order planned for following week.

Sorry you received the wrong colour items. We will look into why the item was picked incorrectly and double check the right items are labeled and stored in the right bay in the warehouse to avoid any further problems. We are glad we have the matter in hand and your boards will be delivered as arranged. Sorry for any inconvenience
