About Royce Lingerie:

Royce Lingerie is the world’s only wirefree bra specialist.

They make non-wired bras for everyday comfort; for pregnant women and breast-feeding mums; for teens; for sport and for women who have had breast or chest surgery.

The company was established in 1991 and continues to be run as a family business. The first design was a nursing bra and the business has gone from strength to strength ever since with five different categories in the range today. Royce has always made bras without wires, as they provide so much comfort, whilst offering the best support and fit.

All Royce bras are designed in the UK, from the first concept all the way through to the finished garment. The bras range from a triple A through to an L cup, which requires skill and expertise to ensure the bras are supportive whilst looking great too.

After the initial design phase, sample machinists make up the garments, which are then fitted on real women for testing, to get the style and fit right. Technology has changed over the years, but the care that goes into every garment remains the same.

“I did not purchase anything in the end because the two moulded styles only available in a 28FF/30F back did not suit me. Both styles I tried were too high underneath the armpit. However, I do hope that Royce will produce a moulded bra, and other styles, that will cater for a 28FF/30F back and a shallower cut under the armpit. I cannot fault how well made the bra's I tried on were. The fabric used (a lovely soft cotton) were very comfortable and both styles very supportive. Please Royce can we have more designs of non wired underwear for smaller backs and bigger cup sizes.”

“I have been wearing Royce bras, for a number of years. Twenty three years ago I never thought that, I would look 'balanced' again, but I did. Now at nearly 85 and finding it hard to do the back up, my daughter was home and helped me find you. They are so comfy, thank you for making me still feel good.”

“Although I returned the bra from yourselves it was nothing to do with the quality or service experienced. I have not been well recently and my once slim figure is now very scrawny. I am not sure what size back or cup is required but this one was not right.”

“I purchased a comfi-bra Caress some months ago which I find is very comfortable and have recently purchased another one together with a Grace bra which is very comfortable too. Good support and gives good shape without the horrible wires that tend to dig into the ribs. I am delighted with my purchases.”

“Sent item back. Did not think there was enough support in bra, boobs just fell out to sides, not very flattering. The shorts didn't look like picture, they are more like large briefs than short shaped”

“Very pleased with the two bra styles that I currently wear, and I much prefer being able to try underwear on in peace & quiet at home rather than struggling in a poky changing room when I am hot and bothered during a shopping trip. I realise that the variety of styles/sizes/colours stocked must be limited but I would ask that black (or at least beige) be offered as the default rather than 'Classic White'. I hate white underwear. No matter how carefully garments are laundered, they invariably soon become off white and also pick up colour from outer garments. I currently wear Grace & Rhiannon in size either 40FF or 42FF. Please also can sizes be marked on the garment which do not fade away with washing. I have two sizes in use and frequently end up changing identical bras because the wrong size has been selected from the drawer. I now inelegantly have sizes marked on the washed out labels in biro!”

“I bought a couple of bras following surgery for breast cancer three weeks ago. The front fastening is helpful. The bras are soft and comfortable and I find that they don't chafe or irritate against the op scar. I was so pleased with them that I treated myself another two.”

“This bra was bought for a teen friend of mine but unfortunately it wasn’t a hit. She said it’s well-made using nice material but unfortunately it barely covers the nipples and so they keep popping out! This is both annoying and uncomfortable. Both bras are therefore unwearable which is disappointing given the price. Very disappointed!”

“I was very pleased to find a company who not only sold but made large sized non-wired bras, thank you Royce. Due to recent health problems I have put on a lot of weight and can’t cope with restrictions around my solar plexus, this makes the wearing of under wired bras almost impossible. Before my health problems I wore a 34JJ which very few companies sold, I was not holding out much hope of getting an under wired bra to fit , but Royce came to the rescue! I have just bought a Lunar bra size 40 HH and a Charlotte 40 HH , with the help of a small hook extension they fit perfectly and help my self image Immensely. Thank you Royce.”
