About Royce Lingerie:

Royce Lingerie is the world’s only wirefree bra specialist.

They make non-wired bras for everyday comfort; for pregnant women and breast-feeding mums; for teens; for sport and for women who have had breast or chest surgery.

The company was established in 1991 and continues to be run as a family business. The first design was a nursing bra and the business has gone from strength to strength ever since with five different categories in the range today. Royce has always made bras without wires, as they provide so much comfort, whilst offering the best support and fit.

All Royce bras are designed in the UK, from the first concept all the way through to the finished garment. The bras range from a triple A through to an L cup, which requires skill and expertise to ensure the bras are supportive whilst looking great too.

After the initial design phase, sample machinists make up the garments, which are then fitted on real women for testing, to get the style and fit right. Technology has changed over the years, but the care that goes into every garment remains the same.

“Not a dan of the quality, they are not as great or comfortable as advertised, and the material is VERY itchy. I've washed it with and without conditioner, and I don't have a problem with any other clothes that I wash with my conditioner, but those bras are soooooo itchy... especially in pregnancy when you're not feeling great anyways, you dont want to add discomfort... they were not that cheap either, so I dont feel like I've got anything worth the money I spent. Will probably keep them as emergency bras.”

We're sorry to hear about the discomfort you experienced with a couple of our styles and that you were not entirely happy with the material. We are surprised to hear of the discomfort with Grace as this has a high cotton content. Have you seen Maisie online? This is one of the softest bras in our range and comes in 4 beautiful colours too with a nursing option too if you choose to breastfeed. Thank you for taking the time to feedback to us.

“Very supportive and comfortable. The only drawback is that it shows on neckline. Needs cups cutting/curving away slightly to show a bit of cleavage rather than bra.”

“On the bigger sizes (36jj) the band tends to curl up a bit, bunches up and digs in a bit, could do with being a bit thicker material maybe. But generally nice fitting and comfy.”
