I ordered the parts on Friday for next working day at additional cost of £11.40, so delivery expected on Monday, as I had a tradesman coming to fit cabinets. FedEx driver turned up on Monday with a label for the parcel, but no parcel!! Couldn't care less attitude of FedEx driver, talking on his mobile to his mate, when he should have been attending to me. Had to re-schedule the tradesman and wasted £11.40 on extra shipment. Ross did ship another set of parts but these didn't arrive until Tuesday, couldn't get the tradesman back until Thursday.. Would have thought my shipping cost would have been refunded, but no offer was made.

I live in Finland and wanted to make a small order for two Ross stock items. The shipping price Ross wanted was exorbitant (about 5 x the goods cost). To get a more reasonable shipping cost I asked Ross Sales to name a UK based Ross product reseller who sold smaller amounts and might have more reasonable shipping costs. Ross said they could not tell me who they supplied with the items I required, who I could buy from! This answer from Ross Sales is un-helpful and it is unbelievable Ross cannot tell a potential buyer to which re-seller they sell particular items. I have often asked a UK company where I can buy it's products in the UK (at a re-seller), and received an immediate reply. But for some unknown reason Ross is not able to do this - but it sounds like their data systems are inadequate!

Very disappointed, bought a replacement wheelbarrow wheel and fixings that do not fit. I found out later, from Ross operatives, that the brand change their product and that the measurements change. It would have been helpful if they had asked me how old my product was when I started my initial inquiries. The cost of returning the product was almost equivalent to the price paid. Ross took no responsibility: blamed the brand and blamed the customer. I will no use their services again.

I PURCHASED WHEELS WITH SPLINED BEARINGS ONLY TO FIND I COULD NOT FIND A SHAFT THIS SIZE. WHEN I PHONED YOU BACK TO SEE IF YOU HAD SUITABLE SHAFTS, I WAS TOLD NO, BUT GET ONE CLOSE TO SIZE THEN HAMMER ON THE BEARING ????????? WHY PRODUCE A WHEEL WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO SOURCE A SHAFT. T.REES.

I recently purchased a new wheel plus spindle for my Hammerlin barrow. In ignorance of what does what I relied on your staff to tell me what I needed so bought the wheel and spindle to match that and my barrow. When they arrived they did not match and when I complained and hoped to be supplied properly they could not help me further other than say: "try your local hardware store!" I am most unhappy about having to cobble it together.

Ordered 120 plastic insertion feet for chairs at our club. The order arrived very promptly but only 118 inserts arrived. I phoned around a week ago informing the company of the shortage. Still waiting.

I ordered two 100mm casters. The delivery cost was twice the amount of the items and then took 7 days to get here.

Great on line website and very easy to search found what I was looking for instantly however I paid the premium price for a next working day delivery at 12 noon and didn't get it until the day after, I called Ross customer service to enquire about my delivery delay and unfortunately I received poor services and on top I'm still waiting for my call back to explain why my delivery was delayed and a refund on a service I paid for but didn't receive.

Had to chase order several times. Paid for two day delivery. On 3rd day i chased and was told i would have them the next day. Rang 3 days later and was told they had just come into stock and they arrived 9 days after ordering.

Dear Sir, Thank you for this opportunity to express my opinion. I placed my order on 12th January, No. 100029243. It is the 18th today, and I have no information with regards to my order. The package was addressed without the addressee's name so it had to be opened on delivery to find out who it was for. Should have been better.

A con with words, after already excepting the order plus free post .The company phoned me and wanted postage applied to the order, I declined the postage charge and cancelled the order, end of story.

The wheel ordered is fantastic, everything I wanted. However your company is let down by your choice of the delivery company. I have never paid so much for delivery of any item. ( more than the price of the wheel. ) The item was delivered to a Shell Garage over a quarter of a mile away from my house. NO card was put through my door to alert me to this delivery. Only the detective work by a garage employee enabled me to get my delivery. I would not expect to have to go to these lengths to get my delivery, totally unacceptable. John Greaves
