“If you met me in my leisure time, I look like 'man at Rohan'. Your gear comprises most of what I wear out and about, on the hills and round the world. Thank you. One niggle: the dyes that you use in bags trousers? Don't stand up to regular washing. Sort that and I would have your babies. John”

“I recently ordered a new pair of walking trousers which I use daily for dog walks. They fit brilliantly - I ordered a women M regular length. Quality is great, the style is flattering and the colour is as seen. I bet they will last me for a number of years.”

“Delivery excellent. Have kept a Rohan wardrobe now for many years and I'm still wearing my original Rohan Striders (my first Rohan purchase - probably 20 years' ago!). I might add - just for around the house. However, must tell you I am disappointed at the quality of material and the hang of the trousers now the current 'Striders' being sold in your range. There's no 'style' or 'cut' to them like my old ones, i.e. I loved the drape of these old ones - the diagonal stitching across the knee bearing the Rohan insignia, for example (no insignia whatsoever on the new model). Little things like this DO matter. Incidentally, I do possess other brands of your trousers and they have served me well. However, I've always preferred 'Striders' their winter warmth, endurability, quality and cut.”

“I have many items of Rohan clothing and equipment, some of them for many years! Well made and thoughtfully designed, they are the mainstay of my outdoor activities. Not cheap, but excellent value.”

“Started to buy Rohan in 1984 when I went to work in Africa. Expanded my collection when I worked in Scandinavia in winter. Well-made clothes that last many years. I still have one item from 1984.”

“As I get older, my circumference has increased. I only fit in a few 42inch trousers nowadays. Most of the non-fitting 42 trouser types are too tight around my thighs. Winter lining Rohan clothes are regularly undersized too-tight clothes. Why on earth are 44 and 46 inch bags not made of the stretchy material. I love stretchy. I never really liked bags though - too many pockets leads to too much time taken finding and getting things. And I like high back trousers that don't give my friends and family a glimpse of my crack. I think the world, in general, would thank me for that.”

“Clothing is excellent quality if rather expensive at times. Suits my lifestyle and is always extremely comfortable and practical to wear. Delivery is fast and trouble-free and shop staff are always excellent and knowledgeable. I'm quite selective of the colours, however, as your tops and fleeces for women are sometimes rather dull...even when the choice for the men at the time is more vibrant such as blues and reds. You have had some lovely bright reds, blues and turquoises for women though and it always cheers me up to wear them! Keep up your high standards, please.”
