“I have received the two jackets I ordered which were delivered promptly and are as advertised. However these items of clothing are manufactured in China. So much for your ethical trading policy. For ethical trading you mean “ minimal manufacturing costs and maximum profit margins” You are also shipping goods half way around the world when Northern Ireland is a short distance away. What about the environment? You mention that you have manufacturing facilities in Portugal and Northern Ireland, so I assume that China is cheaper and the mention of European facilities is to distract customers. Many other companies source goods from Asia but at least most of them don’t brag about their ethical trading policy.”

“The winter fleece I have just bought is excellent. Smart enough for winter sightseeing but warm and windproof in cool autumn weather. Even better it was half price in the sale. Gorgeous colour - desert pink (more orange than pink)”

“Well I had a problem with odd shoes that were sent out but Rohan soon sorted out the problem and quickly sent out a replacement. I know problems sometimes can occur but it is how it is dealt with that shows a good company.”

“Ladies clothing seems to have become very masculine- especially the Shoreline Polo-and drab. Recent purchases have been returned as sizing is small and features like zips on side pockets have disappeared! Colours leave a lot to be desired too! Maybe it's an age thing and I will have to now(unfortunately) look elsewhere as I cannot see myself wearing sunshine orange and rosewood pink!!”

“Very happy with my purchases, all of which were sale items or discounted. One small criticism is that my latest purchase, being the same as the previous two as I was so happy with them, was a different cut and not so comfortable.”

“The gear is good quality, and long lasting. I've been buying Rohan clothing for over 30 years, and whilst I know quality is there, the designs seem to have gone off over the last 3 years, altering the fit of womens clothing and also dropping some old favourites. I particularly miss things like the Windshadow jacket, and the Trailblazer trousers. I could guarantee that a certain size would fit me comfortably but now i can't. Hopefully Rohan will have a rethink about its products.”

“The parcel arrived as expected and the goods were also as I had learned to expect from Rohan also good. Having had a problem with Summits last year I am hoping that the Striders will prove more robust and up to your usual excellent standard. I am still wearing Striders bought before you replaced them with Summits and they are still in good condition, maybe a little worn around the seat but they have been washed and worn very many times.”

“Rohan are generally very good but there are a few niggles, especially with their shirts and button hole size. I also bought a top range walking trousers but were very disappointed at the fit, which was very lose and the lack of pockets. Previous purchase of trousers were nearly half the price and twice the pockets.”
