“I am a great fan of Rohan micro fleecee jackets and their coats, having bought my first fleece on the order of 20 years ago while in Heathrow waiting for a connection. Their mail order servicee is very efficient and their stores are generally well stocked with their merchandice and helpful staff. Their prices vary from very good (with sales) to competitive, to a bit high. The quality of their merchandise is very good or better. All in all, a brand worth knowing and buying.”

“Having purchased from Rohan for a number of years now,i still find their service as second to none. A moan over the years of limited colours, is now slowly improving ,although it is still too slow for my choice. You also need to show your name better on your merchandise.”

“I bought a Frostpoint Men's Jacket in, Tarn Blue. I like the jacket, it's light but warm and the colour is nice, much less garish than some. I exchanged my original medium purchase for a large fitting [I'm only 5'9" and slim, in my 70s !] as it was too tight over a sweater and I want it for mild, dry winter days. There was no problem about the exchange and they only charged it at the original full discount price I'd paid even though the discount had been reduced. I haven't yet tested its water resistance. The only thing I would criticise is the rather odd collar that seems to poke my neck/chin when zipped up, the medium size was worse.”

“My previously high opinion of Rohan is diminishing, for several reasons. First and foremost, the fact that the company drops products without offering acceptable alternatives. An example of this is the Grand Tour chinos, a wonderful product that was available in two attractive colours. This practice is highly annoying for long-time customers, who do not want a constant introduction of new products to satisfy the whims of fashion. We want to continue buying our established favourites - or we'll be forced to go elsewhere. Secondly, colours!! Many of us are country people - we'd like more items available in attractive greens. Why on earth is there an endless fixation on charcoal and dark blues?”

“Good quality products and very good value when purchasing sale items. Delivery is always on time and the service in-store is excellent with friendly, knowledgeable staff I recently purchased a long sleeved men's Equator shirt which I can't fault. It's comfortable and stylish for everyday use My only criticism is that there seems to have been a move away in recent years from the more rugged country wear to smarter, casual clothing and in particular, cargo shorts and cargo trousers, with design features that incorporate practical pockets, for serious hill walking. These seem to be no longer featured in the range and would be welcomed back”

“In the last couple of years, I've been disappointed by your trouser designs. I am short stout and older than any models you show wearing trousers. Your tapered leg designs of recent years are too tight and not nearly as comfortable too wear as the baggier straight leg designs you used to sell. Perhaps you could widen your range of styles?”

“I bought winter bags which are wonderful. What is not so wonderful was their cost. £15 and £20 delivery and then nearly £30 in tariffs, plus charges on our French debit card for paying in £s. We can no longer use our english debit/credit cards in France as we not have an English mobile number (thanks Co-op Bank!). I will be wary about buying in the future.”
