“There seem to have been some changes to Rohan style and quality; I could always rely on an item fitting properly when ordered online but have had to return recent items which differed in size. Also, quality on some items does not seem as good as usual.”

“Generally great but I have just a few quibbles re design. More zipped pockets on my last trouser purchase for example. The best Jacket I ever bought from you is a cream smart casual job I purchased circa 1988 and still wash and wear (I tried to attach a picture below but can't see it! If only you had updated that instead of bringing out 'improved' versions. But- you do what you say.”

“The boots were awful, I normally take size 8 so I bought 8.5 wide so I could wear thicker socks. They were tight and very stiff, terrible quality. I spoke to your Customer Services about you taking the £10 gift card off the boots refund price even though there were two other items which I kept. I was told that it was a voucher and not a Gift Card as it is stated on the card!”

“Excellent quality. Quick drying and lightweight clothing make them very suitable for travel. The sleeves on T-shirts are too long for me. Three-quarter sleeves on basic T-shirts would be good. Sad about the small pocket zip on the roamers. They no longer suit my purpose. Too small for me to use to keep car keys safe and the small pocket is not hidden anymore for security. The original pockets were great when working in Zimbabwe. I don't find the small pocket easy to unzip either. A difficult twist. I don't buy the new Roamers sadly. I wore them constantly before the pocket change. Otherwise, my favourite shop!”

“We received special help from the staff and management of the Ambleside store on returns yesterday, as a result of having been a regular customer over many years. We felt they went over and above what they needed to and their generosity is hugely appreciated. Needless to say, we shall continue to buy excellent Rohan products from them in the future.”

“I am normally quite pleased with all aspects of Rohan's service but the last trousers I bought were 8R when I had ordered 8L which is always my size. They landed just above my ankle which is not the look I wanted. I would have liked to exchange them but went for a refund as it seemed the most straightforward thing to do. It was disappointing and put me off trying Rhoham again.”

“All their clothing is well made and of excellent quality. We buy mainly walking clothes which use some excellent technical fabrics. Unfortunately, they insist on changing the designs and names of their garments every year and can end up wrecking a perfect garment for the sake of some stupid design feature. We still keep buying their products, because they are the best on the market, but please Rohan: sack your so-called designers and promote your technical advisers as they are the ones who have got it right.”
