“It’s not what it used to be, service is excellent but the garments are not as good. I started buying in 1979 and have bought well over a hundred items. Pockets used to be plentiful, zipped and large enough to take a phone. Not now. Fleeces used to be really warm. Trouser legs had some room in them not narrow drainpipes. From the reviews I can see I’m not alone but nothing is done, every reiteration is worse. Really sad, a great brand not what it was. Be wonderful to see some old styles brought back in all their glory!”

“We buy quite a lot of Rohan outdoor clothing. It is usually good quality, pleasant to wear and fairly attractive. It is also quite expensive but it is robust and resilient so wears well. My only disappointment was a jacket bought in the end of season sale which proved to be thin, and unsatisfactory”

“I have been using Rohan for over 20 years and I am always left satisfied by the quality and longevity of their clothing. The staff in stores are very helpful and experienced and the web site is quick and easy to use. My only suggestion to Rohan is to consider offering free postage for orders over a certain amount. I recently spent quite alot in the build up to Christmas and these days you expect free postage for large orders..... it's only £4 I know - but still, it's not expected these days on large orders.”

“It was a well made light but warm jumper and a lovely colour. The style was a high neck and close fitting across the shoulders. My husband said I looked like a member of crew from the Star Ship Enterprise and with that I had to send it back.”

“Superb quality products. I loved the summer shirts with poppers instead of buttons, so much easier for my old hands. Now I have bought Kielder winter shirts which are very warm, wash so easily and look good. Sadly these have buttons instead of the poppers, and the buttons were very tight to use at first but improving with use and washing.”

“The zip shouldn't have gone on my merino cardigan within a year, but Rohan took it back for repair with no questions asked, and the repair was more than excellent.”

“I have worn Rohan trousers for some 20 plus years. They are always true to size. This time I took an on-board review, saying the trouser style I was looking at came up small. With this in mind, I upped my size. Only to have to return them.... They were too big! They were true to size as always! I love Rohan trousers, they are always extremely comfortable & wear exceptionally well. The Roamers are my favourite walking trousers.”
