We have bought and sold several houses through Robert Ellis at stapleford and Long Eaton over the past few years. The whole team are professional, efficient and friendly and work really hard for both the buyer and seller. Thanks to Claire and Nathan at stapleford in particular for guiding us through a tricky purchase, renovation and sale.

Fourth and definitely the last time moving due to unforseen problems. These guys were great from start to finish especially Louise 👏 👌 who turned into my own personal counsellor. A professional service all the way through the process. Top job 👍

I have received excellent service from Robert Ellis throughout my sale. Particularly from Marie who handled protracted negotiations in a courteous and professional manner achieving an agreeable conclusion for both parties. I highly recommend Robert Ellis, and extend my thanks to all of their team.

Holly was amazing from start to finish. I was kept fully informed and she managed to assist with getting me moved in for Christmas. Would have no hesitation in recommending Robert Ellis (particularly Holly)

Many thanks to Holly, Dawn, Louise and the rest of the team at Robert Ellis for their hard work in getting my property sold. With regular viewing feedback from Hannah and Freya to sale progress reports from Holly, Louise and Dawn and karianne. A brilliant effort from all involved. We recently sold and purchased through robert ellis, Dawn along with Carrianne from the Long Eaton branch was on hand every step of the way to ensure that every question was answered and nothing was too much trouble, keeping our minds at ease along the way. The whole process was really smooth I would 100% recommend robert ellis to anyone wishing to sell or buy, brilliant service!

We honestly couldn't recommend Robert Ellis Long Eaton enough. From start to finish Dawn has been with us every step of the way to buy our first home together. Dawn was always so lovely, friendly and made you instantly feel relaxed at such a stressful time. Even replying to emails on a Sunday when she most definitely should have been enjoying a day off! She's truly amazing at her job and went above and beyond to help us - thank you so much to Robert Ellis Long Eaton and Dawn for all your help over the last few months. We appreciate it so much!! Xx

PLEASE READ ALL THAT I WRITE - THERE IS SOME GOOD !! Overall I hadn't been very impressed with the service from Robert Ellis. Too many times I was promised that they would chase up something for me and ring me, but then never ring. When I queried this they said 'there was nothing to tell you'. There needs to be much more focus on communication and customer service and that in its turn would limit people chasing you. By not updating me, I was being led to assume that nobody had bothered to do anything and this was causing me a high level of stress.. Where I work, one of the interview questions most likely to occur in an Admin type role is 'what would you do if you are unable to provide information requested'. The answer expected is 'I would contact the person to let them know that I was still trying to obtain the information'. I had explained that with severe illness and death of both parents in the last couple of years I have (stressfully!) bought/sold 6 properties and am trying to deal with the after effects of the events of these years.. Inadequate service from nearly all professionals involved meant that I had learned that in order to get a response and to progress the transaction I needed to become 'the squeaky wheel' ...the most annoying person. I didn't want to do this, but silence from the team made me do it. I knew I was being annoying - and I made the team aware that I would continue to do so if I didn't get responses when I expected them. I'm paying them, after all. That said, both Karrianne and Louise were always cheerful when I spoke to them. This changed when I 'met' Holly Torr. Holly seemed to understand what I needed and, to her, I stopped being an irritating customer and became a client and a person who needed support with the sale and subsequent purchase. She kept in touch, getting back to me when she said she would, and vastly improved my experience. Thank you so much Holly, you saved my sanity.

Fantastic service from Robert Ellis on the sale of my house. I cannot praise them enough for the service and support given throughout the whole process. Special thanks to Holly Torr who managed the sale from start to finish and ironed out any queries that arose along the way! She made what was a very difficult time for me so much easier with her continued support. Would highly recommend Robert Ellis to anyone wanting to sell their property.. their professionalism is second to none! Thank you so much to everyone involved!
