“Very and sympathetic service when I had to transfer our September Eastern cruise with Riviera from this September to next May, due to the Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown. Emma could not have been more helpful. Thank you so much.”

“Emma Gray was the concierge. She was extremely helpful and reassuring. My telephone call with her was very successful for me and I expect for RiverVoyages. My experience was such that I would certainly contact Emma for any repeat booking. Thanks, Gerry Everett”

“Emma worked really hard for me to transfer my river cruise holidays from August this year to August 2021. Although I may be should have waited as I may well have been cancelled by Saga and perhaps may have got a better deal. But Emma did as I asked her and did some time on my concerns. Emma and other members of your staff are all very good. I wish you all well over the coming months during this very hard time. Thank You Tom Hassell.”

“Should have travelled with River Voyages for the holiday of a lifetime on 13/03/20 Received a telephone call from them just as we were leaving the house to travel to Heathrow for our flight out the next day to be told that they were advising us not to travel as there would be problems with immigration at our destination and that we would not be entitled to a full refund as the cruise section of the holiday was still going ahead! This changed the following day when all travel in Vietnam and Cambodia was cancelled. No one contacted us I had to contact the cruise line myself to be told that I was entitled to a full refund. I have tried numerous time to speak to someone at river voyages with regard to this but have only succeeded in getting through on one occasion to be told it is in hand. Since then we have heard nothing not even an progress e mail. Today I have tried again to contact the team via telephone on all the available appropriate numbers. You get so far through the usual recorded message then they cut you off. Not good in any way shape or form. We have travelled with them in the past and had nothing but praise, not anymore”

“I was not sure whether to cancel our river cruise for this year and lose the deposit or pay the substantial balance. The team at river cruises were efficient in setting out the options and allowed us to postpone our cruise for a whole year, like for like. Their response was quick, clearly explained and professional and they rang me back quickly to confirm the changes could me made. I was very impressed with the service, particularly at this difficult time.”

“Erin was a very valuable and helpful adviser and then completed the whole booking with efficiency. We had specific timing and site needs for the holiday and could not find what we required. Erin clearly researched the field and came up with two choices, one of which we found suitable. She communicated very regularly as she worked and only made demands that were very necessary to achieve the booking. He whole approach was friendly and helpful and she only moved to telephone contact when it was essential”

“Hannah was patience itself throughout a tricky timing exercise, as independent flight bookings had to be co-ordinated with our cruise reservation. Very clear communication and numerous call backs, always on time. A job well done. Thank you, Hannah.”

“My call was dealt with promptly and the waiting time for a call back from the agent was approximately 20 minutes. Hannah was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the information she gave helped us to decide on cabin choice. Also appreciated her return call re. price of deposit. All in all, we were very impressed.”

“I requested a 'phone back. It came some 5 hours later than promised. The person who 'phoned me back seemed to know little about the cruise and kept having to consult others or simply did not know the answers to my queries.”
